P: Photoshop on iPad keeps crashing after new update

I have been trying to work on a keyframe painting this evening on Photoshop for my iPad, but I cannot because after this new update, of which I was given no warning, Photoshop continues to crash and won't save any progress I have made. It has crashed three times so far and I have not been given the option of the crash report dialog box after any of them. Please answer urgently, my employment literally depends on this device.

THANK YOU! I've been having to use Procreate and it takes three times as long to do anything. I hope there's a fix soon

Is it an easy fix or going to take a long time to fix? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, trying very hard to figure this out. Are you all using Apple Pencil when this happens, or does it happen with finger touches as well?

Im having the same struggles with my college assignments, it keeps crashing every 15 mins. Once, there was a pink screen flash and my ipad just restarted for no reason. I noticed it starts lagging when i use eyedropper, but its too essential for me to not use it despite the crashes. It started a week ago but I assumed I just needed to update the ios. No difference, still crashing. Its not like im using heavy files or brushes either, and my ipad has loads of storage.

I just tried to screen record using my iPad Pro in order to show the crashing. Two times for about 15 mins each, I screen recorded drawing on the photoshop app. Each time, after about 15 mins, it completely crashes, the screen turns black, and exits out of the app. The screen record itself also disappears and it's if it wasn't recording at all. So not only is it crashing the app but it's also crashing other apps (screen record) in the process. My subscription is about to renew in October, and I will not be renewing it if this is not fixed. I depend upon photoshop for my art, and will be forced to switch to procreate. When the app crashes, it doesn't save any of my work, so I can't get anything done. I'm not sure how you're not able to replicate the problem, when every time I've tried to work for the last week, it crashes. Possibly try drawing on a larger sized image- mine are usually 2500x2500 pixels. I also suggest giving an option to download the previous version, so at least you can let people who's work depends on this app the ability to work. Like I said, I will not renew if this isn't resolved.

How about you put out a "new" update that's just a reversion to the
previous version?

Hi everyone, the team has not been able to reproduce this issue so they are asking for any files to share that you are using that cause this, workflows/videos showing what tools/steps you are doing when it happens.  Untill we can reproduce the situation it is very hard to find the cause.
