Same here but photoshop runs fine just can’t edit an image in Camera Raw before opening in Photoshop. It freezes and ceases every time. I made a video of it here. https://youtu.be/2J5p54s_uS8

Try this:

• Quit Photoshop
• macOS: Navigate to "/Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2021/Adobe Photoshop 2021.app/Contents/Required/UXP/"
• Windows: Navigate to "~\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Required\UXP\"
• Rename the "com.adobe.unifiedpanel" folder to "~com.adobe.unifiedpanel"

Finally, if none of the above suggestions help, roll back to the previous version of Photoshop.

True... well, mine is the most recent version, because I have Creative Cloud 🙂

While it’s unfortunate that Adobe hasn’t squashed this bug, I’m glad that people have still been able to use this very same trick for the past 5 years.

Just out of curiosity, are most people using the most recent version of Photoshop when encountering this issue?

I updated Big Sur yesterday to my Mac Book Pro and after that my Photoshop doesn't work at all. Well, I can use some simple brushes, but nothing can be saved (Cloud or computer) because of a "program error" or if I try to move or activate layers in the canvas area the whole thing just freezes. Other CC-apps seems to work ok. 

same here 😞 Just updated to 2021 version. Disappointed
