P: Sampling lag and stutter with either clone stamp or healing brush

@JeffreyTranberry I am coming with another update here, after more testing, i noticed that turning off 'use graphic processor' seems to solve the issue completly, but this makes the overall feel very rough. 

@JeffreyTranberry  I enabled windows ink from the wacom interface. Now the stutter is gone, but the lag is still there as sampling misses clicks. When i put the pen away and use mouse and keyboard, it's again stuttering and laging. I suspect something went wrong when that windows ink update came along.

@JeffreyTranberry are you still looking at this issue? 🙂

Turn off 'show overlay'  - found in the Clone Source window.

It's not ideal as the overlay is pretty useful, but it's better than the lag.

PLS i have the same problem - is there any solution?

Indeed, I have uninstalled PS reinstalled PS, deep deleting all prefs, uninstalling/reinstalling cc app. Nothing seems to fix it. Played with the performance options, unchecking video card and so on. Nothing works.

I also have this issue, and yes I am using a wacom tablet. Still laggy using KB&M however. Simply holding alt takes too long for sample icon to appear, and the delay on releasing it too.

Now I see why some people refuse to update...

Exactly, and i got no answer to this day. Probably ther new version has something faulty. Weirdly enough this happened on older PS versions too. Problem seems to come from 'show overlay' for the stamp tool. Disabling it makes it work normally, and that sucks beacause you have to give up on a very usefull functionality.

I get the exact same issue. Reinstalling doesn't work. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled at least four times now and it doesn't fix a thing. This stuttering happens even when I'm sampling colors for the brush tool. There's something wrong with this program.

I am not using a tablet, simple mouse and keyboard.
