Photoshop 26 - unusable artboards - hangs when moving artboard

Should perhaps be updated into something like "Auto-size Canvas hangs when rendering artboards"

since we narrowed down the issue.

There is a workaround for this, and the bug does not connecting for versions. Solution 

26.7 still doing the same, going back to 25.5

I have the same issue. Moving artboards in photoshop causes photoshop to hang and freeze for like 1-3 minutes. This has been an issue since last summer! 

Are people still experiencing this issue or is it only me?

How has adobe not fixed this yet... it's insane to me.

Open Creative Cloud, click on Applications, in the Photoshop box select the More Actions icon and then Other versions. This will open a list of versions for you to download.

How do i downgrade to 25.5 ?

Upvoting. It's definitely an Adobe software issue. I've tested all of the fixes proposed by Community and the only one that worked for me was downgrading to 25.5 version. I'm using latest macOS on 14" MBP2021.

There have already been attempts to report this as a bug, but admins keep moving it to Discussions or Ideas.
I guess they're trying really hard not to fix it...
