25.2 - Audio levels not pasting to other clips & odd audio mixer behaviour.

As a timeline gets more complicated copy/pasting clip audio levels stops working. What's weird is that for some clips it will work fine, but for others it won't. At the same time adjusting a clip's audio level with the clip mixer will not change the horizontal level line in the timeline, (although the level will change). You can still adjust the levels by moving the line vertically, but this then doesn't drive the audio mixer. Again, this is completely random - some clips will be affected, but some will not. For instance I've got a timeline where audio on tracks 1-3 work as expected, but on tracks 4 and above it does not. Rolling back to v24 fixes the problem.

This has been seen by a few of us working on Apple Silicon computers.

Happy to share a project, although I can't do that publically.

This is still broken in v25.6.0 BETA (Build 23).

Any idea when this is likely to be resolved as our company is stuck on v24 of Premiere because of this issue.

Thanks

Hi @Rach McIntire

I sent you a video and example project a couple of weeks ago - any update on this? Were you able to see the problem? Thanks.

@Rach McIntire Thanks for the reply. There seems to be no consistency in what audio works and what doesn't. I've got one timeline that's all sourced from WAVs of the same spec and things work fine on some clips, but not on others. I am very happy to do a screen recording, but I can't post it publically due the the confidentially of the work. Let me know how I can get it to you. I can also supply a project.

Hi @AndyCollins,

Thanks for the message. Welcome to the forums.  Are you able to send a screen recording of the behavior?  Is there any difference between the clips for which it does/ doesn't work?  Are you using any audio effects?  If you have time, please give the team a few more details. See: How do I write a bug report?

I hope we can help you soon. Sorry for the frustration!
