Copy and Paste is referencing clips previously copied, and not new clips you've just coppied

Hello,

Would love to provide some user feedback as some bugs are to be ironed out.

  1. The copy-and-paste function is not working. It is referencing clips previously copied, not new clips you've just copied.
  2. Clicking and dragging clips is almost impossible unless zoomed in, as the "fx" button is often clicked. The priority should be moving clips, not activating the FX options.

I am a long-time user (10+ years) and a first-time caller.

What about the utterly broken copy-and-paste functionality that OP mentioned as issue #1 here? The issue users have been reporting for over a year now? Any update on a fix for that?

Hi all!

Hope everyone is doing great. I want to give an update to all of you as promised. In the latest Beta, we have fixed the badges mouse click implementation, so you can move a small clip even if you click on the badges. The FX badge is no longer activated on click. If the intention is to move the clip, we won't open the ECP, and you will be able to move the clip freely in the timeline. If you click and release without moving the clip itself, it will open the ECP or the ESP accordingly.

Thanks again for all the feedback!

Hello @NJAsaladfingers,

Thank you for the bug report. This issue has been cropping up over the past few days. I'm sorry about the issue. Can you give the team more information? See How do I write a bug report?

I hope they can help you fix this ASAP.

FYI: Please report one bug per post. There are two issues here. I changed your title for this one slightly. You can upvote your other issue here.

Thanks,
Kevin
