"Save a Copy" is opening a recent folder instead of project folder.

Hi, the "Save a Copy" dialog is behaving like the "Import" dialog. Instead of defaulting to the project's folder, it opens the last used import path (e.g., music, downloads).

I use this for manual backups and I'm constantly saving copies in the wrong place. I have to manually navigate back to the project folder every time. This behavior is recent and inefficient.

Please help me to fix it so "Save a Copy" defaults to the original project's location again.

Thanks.

There is a larger discussion thread about this problem here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/save-as-folder-location-is-not-right-in-version-25-6-2/idc-p/15618750#M60080

It's been acknowledged so hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Same problem, when I choose SAVE AS, it open the last folder I imported media from  (.../CLIENT/MEDIA/VIDEO/) and not the folder where my project was saved (.../CLIENT/PROJECT/PR/). I notice that in december.

Hi @CELSO_R F QUIDEROLI4701

I'm sorry your projects are not saving to the desired location.  Adding extra navigation steps is always a pain.  I was not able to duplicate the behavior you're describing on my own system.  Could you please tell me which version of Premiere you're using and provide more information about your system specifications?  Could you please provide the team with a few more details? See: How do I write a bug report?

I hope we can help you shortly.
