Hallo, 1. Premiere Pro BETA2. Windows 103.
All the projects I made using Build 22 can no longer be opened by Build 23 on Windows 11 -Any project file I made (i've worked on a few) all return this error. -Starting a new project and importing the file does not work (same error).-Installing the only earlier beta build does not work, which is v23.6 My friend uses a Mac, where the latest Build is still 22. The file opens perfectly for them.I was able to have them export it as an XML for a partial recovery (all effects, adjustments were lost) Suggestions:-Give beta users the ability to roll back to the previous build.-If you haven't already, turn off auto updates or risk bricking any projects you're editing with the beta.
Was working a project on Premiere Pro (Beta) and couldn't open the project back when it was updated to 24.0.0.23 on 8th Aug 2023. and the error message as per subject mentioned. Same goes with all my Auto Saved (at least 7) of the same project. Worst of all, same project cannot open by Premiere Pro due the version is newer than the current 23.5.

When viewing the sequence timeline, audio waveforms don't match the actual audio. I have to zoom in quite a bit to get it to match. In the attached pictures, this is the same frame, same sequence, with 1 zoom level difference. It's not even close to matching.
When I try to load project files in the recent update of Premiere Pro (Beta) I get this message: "The project cannot be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements" This is happening to all my projects that had previsously been working fine in Premiere Pro (Beta) I opened the files in the Premiere Pro 2023 and saved as a copy but this produced the same message. How do I get project files from old versions of the software to work in the most recent update?
This has been in the main version and the Beta for months - a double warning (in different fonts) for exporting with proxies present when going to the export page from the edit page. To be fair, at one point there was a triple warning so there is some progress 🙂The first warning is on the edit page and the second on the export page Win 10, Pr Beta 24.0.0 b14

Since the latest beta build of premiere pro, every time I open the software I notice the red triangle exclamation point in the lower right. This has been an issue i have alway had with Premiere pro, but its really starting to bother me. when im in currently editing, the video will usually play as soon as i hit play, and sometimes it will take a long time to actually play. but if i click to another monitor for even a second, premiere pro will take upwards of 2 minutes to play the playback, and in this time i cannot move the timeline (i can move the actual bar, but the playback screen won't change). and i have to wait ages for it to work again. while researching, i read that it could be a hardware error but i dont think thats the case, as i havei7 8700krtx 3060ti32gb ram 32000mzpremiere is running on a samsung SSD. I have tried running it off of a SSD and a HDD, i have tried resetting workspaces, i have tried allocating more memory to the program, and i have tried the beta version of priemere pro premiere pro version: (beta) 24 (and all previous versions for the past year) OS: windows 11 home insider preview.
While working in the latest PP beta I've noticed some things. First and foremost, every time I cut a clip and please ripple delete, it seems to take the program a long time to make the changes. It usually takes about 10 seconds before I can get back to editing. I've never noticed this in the full version. When I add Hard Limiter, Parametric Equalizer, and Single-band compressor to my audio files it generically improves the audio. When I right-click on the audio file, click copy attributes, and highlight the clip I want to paste these audio presets to the next clip. Then I right-click again to paste attributes. The only issue is they don't copy. 😕😕 Also, something that is very weird is each audio clip has eight Channel Volume Fx. I try to click on them and delete them but they do not disappear. Why does each audio clip have so many??? Here's an example: Randy
It says there is an "Enable OCIO Display Transform Effect in Effects list" for new features, but I can't find it. The same goes for the other OCIO features.Where can I find it?
In Premiere Pro 24 BETA (Build 13) the second monitod doesn't transmit the video from Source or Program Panel. At the same laptop Premiere Pro 23.5 works OK, so I guess it is not a problem of the system. System: Macbook Pro 14" - M1 Pro 16GBOS: MacOS Sonoma 14.0 (Beta)
After 10 minutes of use. Just scrolling on the timeline, the software ends up crashing. It has happened already a couple of times. MacBook Pro - 16-inch, 2021Apple M1 MaxMacOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66)64GB

Productions - new projects or renamed projects don't show until production is closed and re-openedBeen seeing this on every version of Premiere I've tried Productions on from 23.2 I think through to Beta 24.0.8Windows 10
If you step into a multicam with ctrl-double click or a nest with double click and do what you need to do & then close it, you return to the last sequence in the set of tabs, not the one you were in. I feel like this used to work as you would want it to (and return you to the sequence you were in), but I may be wrong. So I don't know if this is a bug or a feature request. 23.6.0.19 and for quite a few versions before that.
When I highlight the line that I want to copy/extract it is greyed out and I can insert/copy/extract the selected part. It does however highlight and add in and out points on my timeline.
Some images jpeg dropped on the timeline dont show the thumbnail and don't play in the program monitor, I can see it in the source monitor, but it will be black screen when playing or putting cursor over it in the timeline. Need this resolved asap
Hello, Been trying out the caption feature and I a bad hitch or about 30+ dropped frames every time a new caption is loaded on the timeline. Happens when trying to play captions over a7s III footage. It is 4K multi-cam footage with two cameras, one fs7 and one A7sIII, and a look applied, but my computer has no problem playing it back. Once the caption layer is applied it has a bad hitch every time the caption changes to the next caption. The hitch doesn't happen with the underlying FS7 footage, but constantly happens with the A7s III footage layer when that is the selected camera. File properties for a7s iii: Image Size: 3840 x 2160Frame Rate: 23.976Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 16-bit - StereoProject Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - StereoTotal Duration: 00:29:03:12Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0Alpha: NoneColor Space: Rec. 709Color Space Override: OffInput LUT: NoneVideo Codec Type: MP4/MOV H.264 10 bit 4:2:2 My computer

When I play a timeline containing H.264 or H.265 media generated from various NLEs in faster than real-time speed (using the L key), the resulting program output does not display the original frames in order but rather skips around to already-displayed frames found earlier in the timeline. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create timeline of any resolution/frame rate. 2. Add AVC (H.264)- or HEVC (H.265)-encoded media to the timeline. 3. Press the L key (or Shuttle Right command) twice or more to shuttle forward. Result: Frames reported as dropped despite no real CPU/GPU usage and program output skips and stutters between old frames and currently displayed frames despite TC and playhead reporting smooth shuttle forward.Expected: Smooth double-speed playback of timeline output. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.6.0.56 (Apple silicon) Machine: 2020 Apple MacBook Pro M1 &
I checked this when it was reported in Release 23.5.0. Steps to reproduce:1 Create a sequence from 1 or more clips. 2 Create a Static Transcription; do not create source transcriptions. 3 Create captions. 4 In the Project Panel, right click the Sequence, and "Open in Source Monitor." Result: The clip name shows in the Source Monitor, but there is no video and no captions. Expected: Sequence will show in Source Monitor. Absence of captions in Source Monitor is normal? Workaround: After switching various sequences/source monitor/etc, the Sequence shows in the Source Monitor. Once it is showing, deleting the caption track and recreating does not result in the problem. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.6.0.56 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 63.80 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
Steps to reproduce: 1. ...Edit transcription for a while Result: Clicking on a point in the timeline in a sequence no longer scrolls to that point in the transcript (Auto scroll option is enabled)Expected: Clicking on a point in the timeline in a sequence should scroll to that point in the transcript - closing and re-opening project resolves this. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.10 OS: macOS v11.7.3, RAM: 16.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 4
