DNG converter 2.2 does not save my folder and file names
Hi, I've Photoshop Elements 15, use a Canon 7D Mark II, and use Windows 10. I've read that versions of Photoshop use Camera Raw Plugins, but how about "Elements", particularly version 15, and my Canon 7D Mark II? Is there anything that I need to do to process RAW (CR2) files, as far as "plugins" are concerned? Many thanks!Mike
Hi, Ive just started noticing that Camera RAW is leaving black blocks on my image where I've used the spot removal tool (see pic) This is a DNG file from the Magic Lantern hacked 5D3Has anyone seen this before? It's only started doing iut since the last update. Thanks in advance
I use ACR instead of LR. I thought that they were basically the same, but with different interfaces. However, I have been watching tutorials that use LR and have started noticing that LR seems to have a few more tricks. For instance, I see that the Radial Filter in LR has an amount slider where you can adjust the entire effect of the active radial filter. Is this available in ACR and if so, where is it? Since it seems that LR is getting more bells and whistles, is this a sign that Adobe is moving away from ACR? Thanks. Joe
Hi all, I'm using Photoshop 2020, (21.0.3) and ACR 12.2. I'm pulling my hair out trying to do this, despite online tutorials, video etc. I want to be able to open a bunch of raw files in acr and have all sliders in all tabs set at zero. I've tried creating a preset, but once I've set it for one photo the next has the sliders at different places. It seems I can't get a default setting. Can someone "walk me through" the procedure or provide a link. Thanks so much in advance. Cheers, Paul
In an image with a lot of structure in it, adjustment brush pins get lost. How about a list with meaningful names? Choosing the correct mask and adjustment would be faster in complex images.
Hello,i am missing a lens correction profile for the Samyang 14mm 2.4 Lens Profile Correction Profile for Nikon. (-> Camera Raw Plugin for Photoshop)Any idea if it will be aviable soon?Kind Regards, Bert
I have had ACR set to open images in specific default settings that I'd set, which would also preview in Bridge. These seem to be gone, along with the option to create new default settings. Is the option gone altogether? Is it in another menu that I haven't found? This is a real problem for me if the option is no longer available.
iMac MacOS 10.15.3 / CC PS 21.11 / ACR 12.2.0.386 (I just updated latest fixes a few minutes ago)This appears to be a function of refreshing screen when GPU is active since the behavior is not replicated when turned off. When 2 images are open in ACR (for comparitive purposes) the images are not always refreshed when flipping back and forth between them. Performing a screen function like moving the image slightly forces a refresh."Screen Shot 2020-03-24 at 11.31.43 AM" should not have the feather in it even though it is labelled correctly as active since the image from DSC_0143 is actually the one still being shown.
Camera raw default settings now deactivated as of -2020. I am a production photographer and before this last raw update to 12.2 I would open a raw file off of my a7r3, do light adjustments for the studio then save that preset as the default and anytime I opened a raw off of the a7r3 those setting would be automatically loaded and I used slightly different settings for my a7r4. Adobe would sense which raw file it was and load them. Not anymore. How do I bring that back? Now I have to save an xmp file of those adjustments and load each time or load previous conversion. You would think I would be able to load that xmp file in camera raw prefences to load when I open camera raw but that option is greyed out.... This extra step is nightmare when working with 1000+ images. How can I revert back to old camera raw permanently?
My older NEF files from a D 3100 are fine but when i upgraded to the 7500 Elements is giving me an error message.
I use an iMac (27, SSD, late 2017) and routinely used Photoshop and Camera RAW for over 10 Years. Now ith the newest version, I cannot anymore store New Camera RAW Standards (see screenshot) from a current set of adjustments as promised in 2017 Help (Screenshot). This is very uncomfortable, as for every batch of fotos I have to activate Automatic Lens Corrections or other preferred Settings.
Dear Adobe, I tried to modify the DNG "NoiseReductionApplied" tag before going through the Android DNG Creator (tried to change parameter to 0.5 and 1.0). When I opend the modified DNG file using Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom, I didn't see any difference between the modified picture and the unmodified one. Theoretically, the modified picture would appear smoother and less noisy, right? Anyone can help? Thanks.
Hi,Since couple of months I'm having a problem using Passport Color Checker. Everytime I make profile it tints my images towards yellows which is not accurate. White balance is the same in both images. Here is the example:I've tried every combination of profiles, depends on lighting conditions there is a small difference but yet Passport Color Checker kills all natural reds and tints shadows/midtones.I've created a profile in Lightroom and gives the same result.I have a good Eizo monitor to check colors but I've ran out of ideas what might be the problem. I've even made dual profile but does almost the same.I shoot with Canon 5D Mark IVThank you in advanceThank you for any suggestions.
I do high production photography. mainly product and usually I work between two studios and 4 computers. I leave the raw files on sd cards until they are done. Problem is 12.2 version of camera raw no longer writing XMP files back to where the raw files were created! How can I bring this back? I lost 20 hours of work this week because of this!
Hi, I have started to get this on my MAC. It is when I am bridge and photoshop. I thought it was just my astro photos but it also seems on my day shots as well. I thought it was just my old mac playing up on my now it seems to be doing on my new mac as well 10.14.6 Mojove Installed 32 GB Ram
Hi,I took a ton of pictures in RAW today on my Canon EOS Rebel SL1. I downloaded the DNG converter in hopes of being able to edit them, but the program keeps telling me it can't find the CR2 files (even though I am selecting the folder where all of the files are). Can someone tell me how to fix this? I am on a Mac, and would really rather use DNG program because some of those online converter sites are very sketchy. Thanks!
I'm following the new method for setting defaults, checking "Use defaults specific to camera model" in Preferences->Raw Defaults. This worked fine for an ARW file from a Sony camera. It does not for HEIC images from an Iphone X. When the HEIC image is open, Camera Raw's dialog says "No raw images open". Is it now impossible to set default behavior for converting iPhone HEIC images? It used to work.
ciao non riesco a trovare il modo di cambiare il metodo colore in camera raw vorrei portarlo da metodo lab a rgb ma non riseco a trovare i comando per cambiarlo grazie molte
I just purchased a Nikon D780, and can't open my raw files in Lightroom 5. I have macOS 10,15.3,I tryed downloading camera raw plug-in installer but had no luck.. can someone give me help to what to dothanks
Since with CR 12.2 my previous Adobe Default settings are now reset and gone, I had to follow the new (complicated) procedure to recreate my Adobe default, now based on a preset. OK, I was able to "fix" it, or so I thought. Part of my camera-specific Adobe Default has always included automatic upright correction.HOWEVER, now the upright correction is totally messed up. After testing it several times it seems that it won't apply a custom correction evaluating and correcting each actual open image(s) but seemingly tries to apply the same correction values that the original image, the one that was used to create the default preset, needed. So basically it messes up every image that does not happen to need the same correction as the one specific image that I used when I created the preset that now serves as my Adobe Default when opening any images. Not sure if I explained it well, but this totally messes up my workflow. In the past the correction was mostly very accurate doesn't matter what
For the most part ACR automatically identifies and applies lens profiles for my Hasselblad lenses. However the XCD 45P photos get a warning that says "unable to locate a matching lens profile." The XCD 45P is a newer lens but when I do it manually I can indeed see the matching lens profile and apply it manually. But something is preventing ACR from seeing and applying the profile auotmatically.
I'm not able to add a new brush in Camera Raw in Photoshop 2020 on a Mac Pro (garbage can) running Catalina 10.15.2. I click the NEW brush option, it shows the NEW button active, but when I go to paint, it reverts back to the 1st brush and continues adding to that instead. Every time I click the new I reverts back as soon as I paint. I have save the edits I made, close Photoshop, and then re-open it to be able to start a new brush. Needless to say, this is annoying. Creative Cloud reports software up to date. Any help with this is appreciated, thanksHardware3.7 GHz Quad Xeon E512 GB 1866 DDR3AMD FirePro D300 2 GB
ACR 12.2 on the MAC OS x 15.3 When I mouse over all the tools in ACR it sometimes shows descriptions of the tools in black lettering and sometimes in white lettering. The Black lettering shows up when I double click (in Bridge 10.3.138) to open a file. The white lettering shows up (in Bridge 10.3.138) when I use key commands to open a file. Very weird. How do I get the program to be consistent?
