Hello everybody.I uploaded here 2 variants of raw. They're pretty similar, but 1 opens, 2nd - not. In the last version of ACR/LR and almost any other similar software. Reports about software failure, without any additional info and possibility of skipping this window and go further. BUT it opens and processes in RawTheraphee and RawDigger, so that I can conclude that the file itself is not corrupted. It seems like it can't go through the metadata verification. If so, can you help me? Maybe you should expand permissions in this case or provide it as an options. Because in principle files can be opened and be useable. I have a big pack of such raws. Thought I could find a solution. Tried to upload raws here but it won't upload unopenable variant. Is it really checking right here?
Why, do the numbers from 1 to 100 turn into 101 to 2020?
Everytime I use Camera Raw to do noise reduction it crashes and the whole program shuts down and I lose all my work and have to start over. It's happened several times and sent several crash reports and nothing's changed. Now I have to remember to save everything I've done before opening Camera Raw for fear of losing it all. If I forget, I'm screwed and will lose everything, every time. If your software update isn't stable then it ought not be released. This makes me angry beyond belief! How do I install an older version that actually works like its supposed to?Let me guess...I can't! I'm stuck paying for this piece of...well...software...that doesn't work like it's supposed to and wastes my time.Maybe it's time to start looking for alternatives.
Impossible to easily see the tool tips. Is there a setting I'm overlooking? No biggie, just annoying.See attached image. Of course I saw an answer to the same problem after I posted this... https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw/cannot-read-tool-tips-in-photoshop-camera-raw-filter/td-p/10953456?page=1
as I wrote in the title - enclose a screen
They will open if i drag them to PS, but not when I double click them. When I double click them, they just open in preview. Also, sometimes when I drag a bunch of CR3 files to PS it only show s part of them in Camera Raw.
I use photoshop CS6, camera raw 9.1.1. I have anew camera that requires camera raw 11.1, I cannot open the raw files. What should I do ? Can I download the latest version of camera raw ?thanks
Camera raw version 10.3 had the camera calibration panel, on it were the profiles and controls for camera calibration. The current version 12.2.1 has the profiles in the Basic panel and keeps the controls for calibration in the panel called Calibration, but the application, dng profile editor, necessary for this version, where can it be downloaded?
Hey guys, I'm trying to import a large number of .DNG images to make an HDR panorama using Camera Raw, in Photoshop 2020. I've been doing this all week with other photosets, and it's been working beautifully. But today, every time I import this particular set, the final merged image has a strong green/cyan tint across the left-hand side of the image, and a strong red/magenta tint across the right hand side. It doesn't show up when it initially shows the merged panorama in preview, but shows up after it's fully processed the image. Initial preview... all looks good Final version... after it finishes processing the complete image
Since a few days the Camera Raw (12.2.2.417) adjustment brush is constantly showing the whole picture with the selected mask overlay even when I only brush a small area. One click with my brush in the picture and my whole picture is red. If I unclick the showing of that mask overlay it disappears and then I can see that the brush is working only in the brushed areas. So I can work with the brush but it is very annoying not being able to check with that overlay-colour if I have brushed all the right areas. Also the Range masks (color and luminance) are not working at all. I just had a update from camera raw and all the adobe apps and hoped it would be okay again. Unfortunately not. Anybody an idea? Thanks, Jos
In ACR (via Bridge) the Mask color picker keeps changing my choice from "color indicates 'affected areas' to 'unaffected areas'" at it's own whim. Is there a keyboard shortcut I'm hitting that is setting this off? It's not in the list of documented shortcuts. A bug, I think. ACR 12.2.1, Mac OS 10.14.6.
I cannot use newest camera raw with old images; reverts to older version of CR. Why? Is it not possible?
I posted thisin the PS forum and someone suggested I post this here. In short, I have 2 Tamron 18-400 DiII B028E Canon mount lenses purchased about a year apart. If I use the older lens the Camera Raw 11.4.1 works automatically, if I use the newer one it does not recognize the lens and I have to remember to assign it with every file opened. The profile exists but does not automatically choose it. It happens in multiple versions of PS (up to 2018, all up to date). I'm running MacOS 10.13.6. I ASSUME it's a firmware differnece in the lens? Tamron says it's strictly an Adobe problem. Any suggestions? Adobe? Thank for any help.

For the most part ACR automatically identifies and applies lens profiles for my Hasselblad lenses. However the XCD 45P photos get a warning that says "unable to locate a matching lens profile." The XCD 45P is a newer lens but when I do it manually I can indeed see the matching lens profile and apply it manually. But something is preventing ACR from seeing and applying the profile auotmatically.
I've labeled this as a *problem* because I think I've found a bug (and I can consistently recreate this) in the new photoshop raw. That said, the bug also stems from a very small feature change, that actually has a huge negative impact on my workflow (and possibly others). The feature change: In a recent update to Photoshop Raw, if you're using your keyboard to tab through the editable fields in any of the edit functionalities, it no-longer automatically ads a Zero if you leave one blank. I'll elaborate. If I'm on the main editing field, and I tab down a few times to exposure, and type a "1", it bumps the exposure by a value of one. If I decide I don't like this I used to simply delete the one, and keep tabbing, and it would replace the empty space with a Zero. NOW: when I tab away, I get an error message saying "a value of X..... is required" basically, to remove an edit I've made via the keyboard, I need to both delete the one and add the zero. This may seem
I tried to download the lasted version of cameraRaw plugin but it did not work.I tried to updated the CS6 and this is the errorPhotoshop Camera Raw 9.1.1(CS6)There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U43M1D207

Hi,I am new with Element2020.When I open a RAW file (ORF from Olympus OM-D E-M5 MK II) I am able to work on this photo, but when I try to save the image, the only format available is DNG.Take a look at the sreenshot. May be there is an option or a specific menu. I need help

Adobe can be so very frustrating! If you want to take a set of images into Camera Raw photo merge and you happen to have used Perspective on your last time there.... guess what? Chances are Camera Raw will NOT merge them! Perspective is only available or works on certain groups of images and most of the time your particular set of images will just not work there! This is a big big mistake on Adobe's part. No where do they explain this scenario. So smart sometimes yet can be so F'ing dumb in others! It only twigged with me after really thinking about what I had done the last time. This merging should go back to default and not what was ticked the last time.
The lastest update to Photoship CC, does not always successfully merge mutliple shots into a panorama unless I merge them within Bridge to get a PSD panorama. If I drag the same files from bridge into Photoshop (the method whereby I get a dng file of combined images), about half the time it fails to combine and when it does work it returns different results compared to previous version. The same images I have in the past successfully combined into a dng file no longer merge with this new firmware update. I get an error message "Unable to merge selected images". And when the merge does happen, the result is very different from previous dng files of same selections: they are typically shorter in height.I have noted that in this new version, it is possible to merge images with different focal length and even orientation; but far more importantly, I get too many "unable to merge" returns on landscape images I took specifically to creat Panoramas. Interestingly, if I give
