I just updated Camera RAW and it is killing my machine. I am trying to load multiple CR2 files for editing ( only four this time ) and only the first thumbnail loads in the filmstrip, never loads in the main window, and CPU usage spikes to near full capacity and never completes the task. If I load one CR2 file it works fine. Two kills it. Prior to this update it was not out of the ordinary to load 50 files with zero issues. This needs to be fixed or the previous version made available.
A little whilw ago my Camery opens like the way as it is in the picture below. Someone has a solution?I have removed Lightroom and Photoshop allready, installed it afgain but it didn't work out. Thanks in Advance!
I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter 10.4. Upon double clicking the app's icon to open it all the open Finder windows disappear and then reappear. The app does not launch. Running 10.13.4
I just bought a Fujifilm X-E3 camera. I have Photoshop CS5. I can't import the RAF files. I read the help forums and have updated my RAW to version 6.7. I need version 10, but Adobe won't provide that update. So I downloaded the DNG converted as suggested by Adobe and the help forums. The application will not recognize the RAF files within the folder (I moved them to their own folder separate from the jpg files that the camera salesman wisely suggested I use in addition to RAW files). Now what. Adobe, tell me what to do so that my head will not explode. Thank you.
Hello there,I bought these Camera Raw presets, which came in a .zxp file. To install I need to unpack the file and then copy the xmp-files into the right folder. That will be no problem. But I am having problems unpacking the .zxp file. I tried with the suggested Anastasiy's Extension Manager which gives an error. Then I tried ZXPinstaller, which says it's invalid. Does anyone have an idea what I can do?Thank you.Elizabeth
I have some profiles for my IR converted camera that I made a few years ago and after reinstalling windows I am trying to get them back into camera raw and since the software has been updated I can't seem to find a way to get them back in. They are in DCP format can I still use them or do I have to go through a new process to set up new ones? I really like the ones I have and would like to keep them.
Since I have been using photoshop CC all of my files that I have imported into camera raw have all been at a random order , mixed with no apparent reason , not in the order that I took them, no problem with the same images in light room, and in Explorer there is no issue. any ideas whats going on? never had this problem in CS6
I have VSCO presets already installed in ACR. I accidentally deleted a group of them in ACR and I want to reinstall/reimport them, (I still have the preset files, currently on my desktop). I can't figure out how to install them though. I know this should be simple but I've been trying for a while and can't seem to figure it out. Anybody have a solution?
I would like to uninstall Adobe Camera Raw 10.4 (on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6). How do I proceed ?
Hi all, thank you in advance for giving this a look.I'm currently trying to find out a new RAW workflow through Adobe After Effects. I'm shooting a Sony FS700 with an Odyssey 7q+, and my files are Cinema DNG at 4K DCI.I know how to import a sequence by selecting the first frame from the batch and importing it through After Effects. It brings in the entire sequence as one video after allowing me to edit the first frame in the camera raw dialogue. The edits I apply to the first frame are then copied over to every other frame in the sequence that is brought in.To get around this, I read somewhere that I could reveal the sequence in Adobe Bridge. I did so and I thought it was great, I was able to edit different frames with the camera raw system. This would come in handy in a changing environment. However when I'm done with the edits and hit the boomerang "Return to After Effects," it seemingly does nothing. Unsure that this was the process I was supposed to take, I tried reloading the foot
I had CS6 installed on our computers and I recently purchased a new camera. I am unable to download my RAW photos. It says I need to get the latest Adobe update but I cannot get through the installation. Can someone please help me?
I have hundreds of folders with images from my camera. For all but one folder, I am able to open the images in Camera Raw from Bridge, either by right clicking and clicking on the "Open in Camera Raw" option, or by clicking on file and choosing the Open in Camera Raw option, or by clicking Control R. After I downloaded the photos I took this morning, I inspected them, and all of the images opened in Camera Raw, as usual. However, about 30 minutes ago, I went back to that folder to process the images. For some reason, Camera Raw had stopped working. I am now unable to open these images in Camera Raw. When I right click on a file, the Open in Camera Raw option does not appear. When I click on File the Open in Camera Raw option is grayed out. When I click Control R, nothing happens. The images I took using the Raw option on my camera do not open at all. When I try to open them, I get an error message: Could not complete your request because it is not the right
I am using the latest Version of Photoshop and ACR. I reinstalled this AM.Using Win 10 when I Alt Click on the Profiles button. I do not get the Create New Profile Window. Any ideas? I tried a number of different combinations of alt and ctrl and nothing worked.I am trying to save some .cube files I have for different movie looks so I can apply them in Lightroom. I can apply them in PS using the Color Lookup Adjustment.
Please, correct 2x two mistakes in Czech translation for ACR: Basic → Profile. My recommendation concerns folowing profiles (here in english):- Adobe Landscape- Adobe Portraitand the corresponding second pair- Camera Landscape- Camera PortraitThe terms 'Landscape' and 'Portrait' are used in english for both:- Landscape can be a 'subject' (scene) or 'format of the photo' (= wide format)- Portrait can also be a subject or format (= high format)In Czech there are TWO DIFFERENT terms for for Landscape/Portrait, one for the subject and different one for the format. Current translations in Adobe Camera Raw → Profiles are:- (Adobe/Camera) Landscape = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Na šířku'- (Adobe/Camera) Portrait = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Na výšku'These are the terms used in Czech for the format. However, Profiles are dealing with specific looks for specific SUBJECTS, not with formates. Therefore correct translations in this context are:- (Adobe/Camera) Landscape = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Krajina' - (Adobe/Came
Hi everybody,When I open my RAW File (shot wit A7III) with Camera Raw, the picture have already modified colors. Like if I had set some preferences imports or something like that.It means I can't work on the original RAW file.Is there some preset I have to change or should I wait an update from Ps ?ThxSalut à tous,Quand'jouvre mes fichiers RAW, je me retrouve directement avec une image modifiée.Je ne peux donc pas bénéficier de l'image flat de base pour faire mes propres retouches.Des paramètres d'importation sont ils à modifier ou une MAJ et prevue par Ps ?merci
Adobe have just upgraded my Photoshop cloud edition. Since that time I have been intermittently unable to open my images ie I get an error message.in Photoshop This is occurring mainly with my .RAF images from my Fujifilm X100F but has also occurred with an .jpeg image, I never had any problems with the previous edition (before the upgrade a week ago) and nor have I made any modifications to my operating system (Windows 7)
We are being forced to use subscription software. Having spent many dollars to keep up with the new developments. I am through. I cannot believe Nikon who has kept use of the same lens mounts for decades has failed us by creating a new file format (NRW). They have not kept their idea of continued use of prior hardware and software by this last format. Why do I have a 20 Meg image sensor when I am forced to edit JPEG images. I think Adobe, Microsoft, and Nikon, and others are forcing us to use subscription (rental) software and the Cloud. I ,myself, have no desire to purchase any new products. I would love to sell my last purchase. It advertised RAW files, but failed to say they are incompatible. ..................I know, BOO HOO.Windy Hill
Hello, I have a problem with DNG converter. I downloaded a 10.3 version that should support Raw from Sony A7III, but when I want to upload photos, DNG Converter does not read it. Does anyone know where the problem is? Thanks.

I have a new problem since the 10.3 ACR update which has to do with how RAW files look when viewed in ACR 10.3. In short, ACR is showing AdobeRGB images as if they are tagged sRGB.I open Nikon Raw files whose native space is AdobeRGB into Adobe Camera Raw. ACR has always successfully recognized that the display space for these is Adobe RGB. Since the update, colors appear muted in the way an AdobeRGB image looks like when assigned as sRGB. When I open the RAW file from ACR into Photoshop, the colors become much more intense, as one would expect when an AdobeRGB image is viewed with the proper view setting. As if it needs to be said: this problem makes color correction in ACR impossible.I have a similar system running pre-10.3 ACR, and thir problem is not evident. Color rendering in ACR is completely reliable. Same monitor, same color calibration software, same graphics card. Oh, and I have tried this with graphics card processing turned on and off in Photoshop. No change.Sot the real qu
I am getting a Canon 80D which is not supported in CR 9.1.1 (CS6). Hence, my choice is to either use DNG to convert .cr2 to .dng or use DPP to convert from .cr2 to .tif.In terms of conversion quality and metadata retention which technique is recommended?Anyone have thoughts or recommended reading?I have LR 6 but have pretty much starting using CS6 due to its layering capabilities.Thanks.
I am running Bridge and PS Cc2018 under windows 10 home single user on a Dell Inspiron 8G 64-bit laptop. Both programs work so long as I do not try to use raw files. Where the programs lock out on trying to open ACR 10.3The solution I found was to use an earlier version of ACR. Iworks with 9.1.1I would like to work with the 10.3 version.Does any one have any ideas what can been done?Ian
