Good evening. I have a new windows computer and camera raw, photoshop, bridge and ligtroom are installed on the new computer. In the drop-down box of camera raw there are only a few camera- en lens profiles mentioned but my camera and lenses are supported by Adobe. I still have my old computer (a Windows as well) and the above mentioned programs are also still installed om my old computer. I did not want to delete them yet till I know everything is up and running. And on my old computer I do not have any problems to indicate my cameras and lenses in camera raw. I read a lot about similar problems but unfortunately I could not solve the issue. How can I manage to get the drop down boxes with all cameras and lensprofiles back in camera raw on my new computer? I always work with raw files. It's about Sony cameras (sony ilce-a7rii en sony a58) and the below Sony lensesLensprofileMerk: Sony FEModel: Sony FE 24-70 F4 ZAOSSProfiel: Adobe (Sony FE 24-70 F4 ZAOSS)LensprofleMerk: Sony
I've been experiencing a new issue lately where all the work that I do in Camera RAW doesn't save to the XMP sidecar when I reopen the photo and am wondering if I may have inadvertently changed a preference. My Camera Raw Preference is set to "Save images settings in: Sidecar ".xmp" files" so I don't think I should be having this issue. If it makes any difference, I'm working with CR2 and ARW files. My workflow involves using Photo Mechanic to do my organizing, editing and metadata, then launching Photoshop's Camera RAW to do my toning. My temporary solution is using Lightroom, which saves the work I've done on the photos, but it's not my preference.Appreciate any input as to why this is happening. Thanks!
when I open several pictures in photoshop as raw picture, it is not possible to get a filmstrip beside my pictures......so it is not possible to give the pictures the same preparation. Can anyone help me?
I recently deployed the CC suite to a computer lab in an education environment. These are device licenses. This was a deployment package that was created this week ie: not an old install package. All went well and my students were able to start editing RAW photos. We shoot on two different cameras, a Canon Rebel 2Ti and a Canon 70D. Today I finished the install on my machine (brand new out of the box 2017 iMac) and when I tried to start editing a group of photos taken on both cameras I ran into problems. The photos shot on the 70D open in the Photoshop CC 2017 Camera Raw window fine but the photos taken with the 2Ti do not. I get the "Photoshop cannot open this file" dialogue box. Checked the Camera Raw plugin info and it is running 9.12.1.790. I tried running updates anyway but there was no change. I also downloaded and installed the Camera Raw plugin separately with no change. I can't figure out why this one machine wo
Hi, I'm having problems with opening my CR2 files in Camera Raw. I've fully updated it and even checked that the camera used, Canon 80d, was on the list of supported cameras, which it is. What's wrong?
Dear Sir to be concernedI use the Adobe programs(Lightroom 6, CS6 premium, etc) pleasantly. But now I have problems.I can not work with photos gotten from Canon 6D Mark II. Because the CameraRaw_9_12 program is not supported for the CS6.At present The only one way that I can do is the way to use the DNG Converter program. But The DNG diminishes the quality of photos. So I want to maintain the photo quality.I am looking forward to supporting the CameraRaw_9_12 for the CS6 users.I should close it there, waiting for the good news.sincerely yoursFrom the Adobe Lover
Assume I have selected a raw file. How can I use Adobe Camera Raw in Lightroom?
How do I get my issue resolved with Camera Raw not recognizing my NEF files from my Nikon D7200? I updated Cam Raw to version 9.1.1.461 and I see that my camera is on the supported list, but I still keep getting this error message, {Photoshop cannot open this file, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed.} I have Photoshop CS6 ver.13.0.6 x64. Camera Raw does still recognize my older NEF files from my Nikon D90.I just recently bought this camera and this is the first time I have tried to open these files .I even downloaded the latest DNG converter and it doesn't recognize the files either. {The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files.} I don't really want to buy into CC. Please help, I'm not getting anywhere with Adobe help. I was in chat (text) hold for well over an hour and got nowhere. Linda V.
Hi, I have recently upgraded from a PC to an iMac. when I used to open multiple raw images in camera raw there were thumbnails of the images down the left hand side. this is now missing and I can only work on one image at a time. How do I get it back? thx
Hi folks,I'm wondering a thing that wich version of adobe camera raw has started using adjustment brush tool?Is there any version history about that?thanks from now for your answers : )
Hi folks,I'm wondering adobe camera raw 3.7 which DNG version compatible.1.1, 1.3, 1.4 or all of them?thanks from now for your answers : )
I have tried installing this a couple of times and it still will only show Camera raw 7.1 in preferences. I tried using it as the stand alone application and in Lightroom 6.12, neither can see the RAW files of my Nikon D850, seems stuck on 7.1, even after I delete all the library files and pref files in preferences and re-install. So any way to get this un-stuck?
Not sure if this is the place for reporting bugs... this is for DNGConverter 9.12 on Windows 10.I noticed that if you click the About button multiple times you get multiple About panels.Click About, move the main windows, click About again.Certainly just cosmetic but should be low-hanging fruit for the dev team.
Hello all,new to the support forum.I love to use color filters in Photoshop. I'd like to use them as well inside Adobe Camera Raw but I don't believe there's such a feature. I've tried to do a solid graduated filter but it most definitely is not the same thing.Thank you all for the feedback
I need to update Photoshop Elements 15.0 on an offline Windows Workplace. The latest supported version for PSE 15 ist Camera RAW 9.10Where can I download the offline installer for Camera RAW 9.10 (v9.12 doesnt work for PSE 15)?
I use PSE 6 and have the adobe dng converter so I can convert the Sony ARW files from my A350 dslr. It has worked well without problems. I recently upgraded my camera to a Sony A68 and whilst the ARW files from that camera convert to dng format in the converter, PSE 6 tells me it cannot open the dng file as it is the wrong type of file, but it still opens dng files converted from the old A350. Is there a work round to this?
I've updated my Photoshop CS4 to the latest updated version of 11.0.2. I'm trying to install the Camera Raw 5.7 update, but I've been having some troubles. I've tried both the automatic and manual installation, but Camera Raw 5.7 doesn't work. I even tried to open the Camera Raw.8bi file, but I get this error message from Photoshop saying, "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." Here's the screenshot of the error message...Could anyone please help me with installing Camera Raw 5.7? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
When opening a DNG file created with our devices (smartphones) in any Adobe product the image looks overexposed. We have been able to pinpoint the metadata responsible for the overexposed DNG files. The parameter is: White Level. Our devices have a value of 1023 for this field. When opened with other RAW file developing tools (Darktable for example) the images exposure look very similar to the JPG file but overexposed when opened in any Adobe products. After changing the metadata to 2047 with Exiftool the image looks similar to the JPG but then other applications show the image underexposed.Attached is a screenshot of the 3 images. From left to right: JPG file, original DNG and modified DNG with White Level set to 2047.What is the reason for that? Are we creating the DNG files wrong? Could it be corrected with a camera profile included in Adobe products?
Hi All,I make up slideshows of jpeg images processed in CS 5. When these images are moved onto a SanDisc flash drive for viewing on my LG Smart TV, duplicate xmp sidecar files are generated by the TV are present and cannot be deleted on the TV. I have to select the other set of "good" jpegs each time I want to run the slideshow. This is very time consuming to say the least. My question is: If I change my camera raw preferences to save images in camera raw database, not in sidecar xmp files, will this remove the sidecar files so they aren't generated by the TV? I also am not clear what it will mean to lose the metadata from my images if I change the raw preferences. Finally, where would I find the camera raw database on my iMac, I don't see library under user.I hope to at least start to solve this very frustrating problem. Thanks in advance. Mark
I've spent hours trying to up update the Camera Raw plug in to the latest version as I've a new camera and I can't fathHere are some basics:Windows 10PS CS6 Extended (portable)Trying to update to ver 9_1_1 Camera Raw plug-in (this is the correct version for CS6)I'm able to download the plug in and extract without an issue. This takes you to 'Cameraw_9_1_1.exe file. Running this file is ok too and I can see the numerous camera and lens profiles being installed. They are getting installed here and I've no control over this:C/ProgramData/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/CameraC/ProgramData/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0And you can clearly see each and every camera or lens profile and as expected my camera profile is also shown. The install wizard also states it's been installed. When I open PS and look Help>About plug in I've two camera raws - the out of date one and the latest 9_1_1 version. But when I try to open a RAW file, it's still telling me I need to update the RAW plug in.Befor
Goede namiddag.
