Camera Raw

Hello! I have a very old graphic card (yeah, I know ...) and I saw that with Camera RAW 16 the option to set "Use Graphics Processor" to Off is no longer available.I was wondering if anyone found a workaround for this.Currently I use a standalone Camera RAW 15.5 installer, but I would very much like to use the new features of the version 16 on my old laptop.It is not possible now to use it because the version 16 available settings are only Custom and Auto.In Custom, both options are grayed out, unaccessible.I know there are others who encountered this problem and I thought I might ask for a solution.The model of my graphic card is in the print screen attached. The OS is Windows 10.Thank you!

When I open camera raw, there is no menu at the top.  I've reinstalled camera raw and I am using the most recent version (14.2).  I can't find anything in the settings that shows/hides the menu.  This means I can't crop or straighten my images.  I'm at a loss as to what do do.  Any help would be appreciatd.  

Recently I updated Camera Raw to the new 16.2.1 version. Since that moment I can add one single mask, but after the first mask, I can't add any other or change the mask once I finished it.  The buttons on the screen simply doesn't work anymore afther the first mask. I still can use the keyboard combiations to add a linear gradient, radial gradient of the bursh. But can't click any other.. even the 'add+ / subtract-' doesn't do anything:( Anyone got some suggestions??

Windows 10, Br 14.03.200, ACR 16.2.1.1767, Ps 25.6 Perhaps I missed this default behaviour change ... but when I open a single RAW file as a Smart Object using ACR from within Bridge the image file name gets appended with a "-1". If I close the image from Photoshop (without saving) and then reopen the same file as a SO from ACR it then gets appended with "-2". Repeating the same routine (open as SO from ACR, close without saving in Ps, open as SO from ACR, close without saving in Ps, ...) results in progressively higher numbers being appended to the single file being opened (img1928-1, img1928-2, img1928-3, img1928-4, img1928-5, etc..). Has this behaviour been "normal" for a number of Ps, Br, ACR versions and I'm only now noticing?? Is there a preference to disable this behaviour and so a single image opened as a SO will use only it's original file name without any added integers (I've not found it if it exists)? I understand that opening multiple copies of the same file

Ich habe Probleme beim Vorschaubild in der Entrauschen-Funktion. Dieses wird nur sehr stark verpixelt dargestellt und Veränderungen sind überhaupt nicht erkennbar.Ich habe bereits eine Neuinstallation durchgeführt. Dies gab aber keine Verbesserung.

Hallo.Camera RAW 16.2.1 (MAC) bringt unter "Optik" die Fehlermeldung "Passendes Objektivprofil kann nicht automatisch gefunden werden" Dies betrifft die DNG RAW Dateien des Apple iPhones 15 Pro Max.Die Objektivinformationen zu 13 Pro Max sowie Canon 5D werden automatisch gefunden und angezeigt.In der manuellen Auswahl kann man die 15 Pro Max Einstellung finden, macht aber keinen Sinn. An den Exif Informationen kann es nicht liegen, die sind z.B. in Bridge komplett und korrekt auslesbar.Ich arbeite mit MAC, Reset mit Taste "Option" und PS Datei>Voreinstellung->Camera Raw habe ich gemacht. ohne Erfolg. Rosetta ist nicht aktiviert.Hat jemand einen Tip?Andreas

New Denoise feature causes Lrc to forget the Manual Noise Reduction and Grain settings. They are reset on the newly created DNG file. I have to re-adjust the grain after using the Denoise feature. Normally it should remember the grain setting at least. I'm also leaving some noise intentionally, for the AI not to ruin the faces and people, so I add the noise reduction manually. But Lrc forgets my settings and I have to re-adjust them again as well.

Hello together,  after having used the test version von PSE 24 with CR 16 in January I decided to buy a full license for PSE 24. I just installed PSE 24 and the CR 16 yesterday and it says "Camera Raw erfordert eine GPU-Beschleunigung, um Bilder bearbeiten". I tried to fix the problem with help of Google. But none of the possible solutions being discussed in different topics worked so far. So is there anybody out there who could help me? Which infomation do you need? Thanks in advance.  KRMatthias 

Hi all.This action is more for evaluation purposes.Usually, to do this, I take an uncropped image and look at it through a hole in whatman paper. But I am a little surprised by the fact that I cannot do this with 21st century tools. I cannot find any key combinations (or such an action is not provided at all) to enlarge or reduce the image inside the cropped area. Of course, you can simply enlarge or reduce the image in the editing tab, but this is not always the case, since the aspect ratio may be completely different from that of the program’s viewport window.With the cropping tools, I can, of course, do something similar, holding only one of the sides of the borders, but this is the image:1. Computer: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)OS: Monterey 12.7.3Camera Raw: 16.2Adobe: 25.7.0Bridge: 14.0.2.181 It's 100% occurance. Only Adobe Beta and Bridge are open. Maybe email, maybe a website. Normal usage. I open image, click 'denoise' and without adjusting I accept what it offers, I think the setting is on 50%. I click Enhance. The computer starts to go into noisy smokey machine, it get louder than a washmachine. Then screen goes black. After few seconds of the black screen - silence. It's like when you do a hard shut off while the computer is running on maximum. Defeaning silence. Hit keyboard and you get the login screen. I login - everything opens, photoshop is there, camera raw is there, the enhancing is in progress still. That. Happens. Every. Time. That's how it goes.  Any ideas how not to destroy my computer using AI Denoise?

Hi all,Adobe DNG Profile Editor does not work on my computer.My OS system is Windows 10 64 bytes. I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter to convert a Fuji GFX RAF file as a DNG file. The conversion worked fine. Then I opened the DNG file with Adobe DNG Profile Editor. When I click (right button) on an area of the image, the adjustment of the image works fine, the pixels colors RVB values are displayed in the RVB panel, but nothing appears in the List box on the right side of the Color Tables pane and Hue, Saturation, Lightness tools are not active (disabled).Has anyone ever had this problem?Regards. And excuse my poor English.  

I spent several hours with a Senior Technician a few weeks ago while he checked my computer. He told me immediately there was an known issue with Camera Raw and PhotoDownloader and the new Nikon Z8. After remotely checking everything, he again said it was a known issue and that engineering would be working on it. Some of the issues included more than one Z8 was detected and portrait inages (vertical) would download in black and white thumbnails. Some images would be completely missing.  Unfortunately, the only thing I am seeing fixed  with Camera Raw 15.5 is that only one Z8 is now detected and half the vertical thumbnails  are now in colour. (The files themselves are fine as they download). What I am concerned with are the missing images. They are on the card and if downloaded directly from the camera, they are there. They are not all appearing in PhotoDownloader.  This presents a real problem for my work. Is there anything else I should be looking at to fix t

Sonoma 14.4.1 / Photoshop 25.6.0 / ACR 16.2 Scanning images and then merging in ACR into single large page. First went normally Second time pulled up the merged image from the first time. Terminating PS and remerging resulted in the first image again.

Hi all, When I try to open a raw file (Nikon NEF) into ACR from Bridge 14.0.2 I get the attached error. Adobe support has tried many things, uninstalling/reinstalling Briddge, resetting preferences but nothing worked. They tell me it is a permissions issue. However, it works fine in Bridge 12.0.4. It stopped working from Bridge 13.Double clicking on the file opens it in ACR, so I can't see how it is a permissions issue.I note others have had the same issue. I am running Win 10, latest version, PS latest version and latest version of Bridge.  Any ideas?Not a major problem, as double clicking on the file opens it in ACR. It is just that is a feature is in the app, it should work. Regards, Steve 

I have ACR 16.2 on 2015 Mackbook Pro running Monterey and on an M3 Max running Sonoma. On the 2015 laptop ACR has the Lens Blur pallette but it's missing on my M3 Max. Both of them are running up to date Bridge and Photoshop. Have I made this disappear somehow? Google isn't helping. Any thoughts are gratefully received.

Can someonle please explain what exactly the camera raw calibration tool does and how it is different from the other global colour adjustment tools there?

I've had my Mavic 3 Pro Cine for 7 months and have always been unsatisfied with how the horizon looks in photos when the horizon is in the upper 1/4 of the image. The outer ends of the horizon bend upwards. Upon looking into this further, it appears the embedded lens profile is the problem. With no way to disable the embedded lens profile of the DNG inside ACR, the only option is to use another non-Adobe method to strip the embedded lens profile from the DNG and perform the correction another way. If only ACR would allow users to disable the embedded lens profile and adjust the image. I'm not referring to the Lens Profile corrections under the Optics tab in ACR. I'm referring to the lens profile that gets embedded into the DNG.

I use tone curve presets frequently and there no longer seems to be a function for saving a custom curve in ACR 15. Previously it was possible to save whatever adjustment was made to the curves as a preset with the small dropdown menu under the curves/histogram window. Where did it go and how can I get it back? If it was removed, why on earth would that be a good idea?
