I have a project where I need to add many 360 degree images. Each will be imported into a 360 slide within a standard project.I'm finding the process to import the images very awkward. The only way I can see to import the images is to first create a 360 slide, then click on the 'Add 360 Image / Video'  button in the middle of the slide screen. The subsequent 'Select 360 degree image / video' dialog box is very small and almost impossible to locate the image I require. Image filenames are not able to be seen in full when using folders and subfolders. Image previews are also very small and not helpful.Subsequently this is making the process of adding 360 images very slow and frustrating.It would be much easier if images could be dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer or from the Captivate Library. I am amazed that the latter is not supported.Can this be looked at for a future update?

Hi,I would like to change runtime dialog box title in Captivate 7. I have found files that may be responsible for this, but I can't make it work.According to this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3047422#3047422the files are located in instalation folder -> language folder (e.g. en_US).On top of what is in the Captivate 5 (in previously mentioned thread), there are also xml a txt files:strings.txtstrings.xmlstrings.zdctwhich would suggest that Captivate developers would acctually allow us to change these captions.But when I change either strings.txt or strings.xml or both, captions in Captivate don't change. It seems that Captivate draws captions from strings.zdct file that I don't know how to modify.I thougth that restarting Captivate would help and new file strings.zdct would be created. I was wrong. It wasn't.Does someone know whether is possible to change runtime dialog titles in Captivate 7?Thanks

I work on the IT Helpdesk for a company where a user has lost the original installer for Adobe Captivate 2017. We have tried to install the application using the website but it does not work and we get the above error.I suspect the license she has is for the stand alone installer but the installers on the website are for the cloud installs?She has a serial key for the software not sure how to progress.Cheers

Hello. Is there a way to group D&D buttons (submit, reset, undo) to a group that I can show only when I want to?

I made a mistake and removed some of the buttons on the bottom of the quiz results slide, and now I can't figure out how to get them back. I did this and saved the content, and apparently even changed some sort of default setting. Is there a way to get the default quiz results slide back?In the Properties, I can see the Master Slide configuration I want, but re-selecting it doesn't reapply the formats I want.

I have a Captivate 2019 project that contains four languages and am using advanced actions for the appropriate language to be displayed. However, it doesn't look like I can do this for the quiz questions. Yes, I can change the quiz slides to be "regular" slides, but before I do that, I wanted to see if anyone has an idea on how to do it.Note: The client does not want separate files for each language. It must be in one file.Thanks in advance.

Hi, I currently have a project with a image slide and "hotspots" that show slidettes when rolled over. How can I have the same interaction for HTML5 output on a tablet/phone? My slidettes contain text and a demo video, so the standard button action to show a text caption is not gonna work this time plus I like the option of closing the slidette when done. Any ideas or work arounds?Thanks,JKB

Hi,I am using Captivate 2019 and will be converting Captivate 9 training from swf to HTML5.  We use Litmus as the LMS.  This is not responsive training.I have been doing some reading and research to learn about the pitfalls to avoid.What I would like to ask is whether I need to somehow test the modules in several different browsers (version of browsers) or should the LMS handle that?  Usually I will test in a couple of browsers using the LMS output, but didn't know if I should be even more diligent and try to test the modules themselves in different browsers?  And if so are there any services/websites I could  for that?Thanks!

One of the animations which fails in Firefox starts with a vertical text animation effect, but other kinds of animations fail too. Also, the audio is missing in the ones who fail. Anyone who knows why? They render perfectly in Chrome and Edge.They are published as scalable/responsive content in html5, and have all worked until recently.

Hi all, searched for an answer to no avail.  I have Adobe Captivate 9.I typically publish projects in Captivate using HTML5 for our LMS.  But occasionally I do need to render an interactive PDF.In the past I've never had issues with this.  My publish settings were simple:The above settings always rendered a zip folder which contained a simple interactive PDF which could be viewed by anyone with Adobe Flash.But recently when I've tried publishing as SWF and exporting a PDF, the zip folder looks like this:**Sorry if I confuse anyone with the title of the project.  The "PDF" portion is just what I named it to set it apart from my other zip files.Notice the highlighted item reads "Shockwave Flash Object" whereas I believe it used to read "Adobe PDF" or something like that.  Another thing I don't understand is the presence of the two "Chrome HTML Document" items.  I don't ever recall those being there when publishing as SWF.I've also tried publishing as Adobe P

Hi,I am very new to Captivate and have just created my first course with multiple choice quiz. When I click preview - live preview on all devices. The quiz works fine on the desktop but when I QR scan it on to my iphone and put in the correct answers it always comes up with a quiz score of 0. Some colleagues have tested it too for me and it still comes up with 0. Any ideas on how to fix please? Using Captivate 2019 and have created a responsive project.

Hey Everyone.Haven't been here in a while. Is 9.0.2.437 the most recent version for v9?Is there a Captivate v10? V11?I see there's a Captivate 2019.  Is that V10?  V11?Or is Adobe pulling a Microsoft on us and no longer using version numbers and instead using years as release indicators.

I created a software simulation and I would like to paste it into a previously created Responsive project.  I have tried copying and pasting the slides, but when I did that, it messed up the software simulation (showed the actions, but all of the clicks and highlights showed up in a different part of the screen than in the original).I also have tried creating a software simulation  within the responsive project, but the video screen is so small, and doesn't give me the option to view my desktop - only open folders or software programs. I need to combine these two projects.Any suggestions?

Working with text you reply upon readability; after all it is text.Working on a particular project of mine much of the text is 12pt font or possibly 10. I quickly came across the issue of blurry text when you attempt to preview the output. But this took me a while as I was working with a lot of variables in my text. I notice some text came out blurry and others crystal clear.Put a long story short I noticed that the one factor that made the text clear in all outputs was a variable. Don't ask me why this is the way it is, but I don't think it should be. I now put a blank variable in all my shape/text captions $$claritymark$$. The variable has nothing in it and just serves the purpose of clearing up the fuzzy text.I could be wrong about this but I would think there is a better way to have clear text in your projects.

I have created a number of software sim assessment style lessons. There is a Quiz Summary Page at the end, and the scoring works fine.  However, when I publish as a SCORM 2004 object, in a zipped file, after setting it up in the LMS (Docebo), when I run a report, it only shows the score, which is a raw number. I want to report the percentage correct, e.g., 83%, so whomever reads the report will know if the learners passed or failed. BTW - the software sim assessment's quiz report works fineDoes Captivate only return the {score} field, or does it send all the fields from the quiz report screen?

I relink my PPT deck and after it brings it back in, about 1/5th of my deck is missing. The nav buttons are still there though however.

Hi there Cp Users!I upgraded to Cp 2019 just three weeks ago.Everything was fine until last night when preview/publish provided the following error.Browser is MS Edge (Chrome and IE will not load but do not give this error)Chatted with Adobe team for an hour.Uninstalled and reinstalled Cp2019Changed browsers back and forth. NO luck!And "No" I do not types anything as the prompt suggests.So...anyone know what this actually means, how to troubleshoot and fix...etc....???Any feedback is appreciatedThanks - My Projects depend on it !   Much Appreciated !

Hi,I have been using Captivate for quite some time, but new the forum.I have selected 'Self-Paced Learning" in TOC for some of my courses to allow users to resume a course where they left off.When the "Continue from where you stopped last time?" pop up appears the text "Cancel" appears on the right button but the text "OK" is missing from the left hand button. The button still works, but the text is missing.  I am attaching the image below.I tested in all browsers and it still appears....has anyone else experienced this/solved it?Thanks,Kristina

Hello Everyone,I updated my Captivate to Update 2. A software simulation and test that was created with Update 1 no longer works with slides that have a Smart Shape and a TEB_Submit button that executes a Javascript and have a tab shortcut when previewed using Update 2 in both HTML5 and SCORM Cloud. When I updated to Update 2, I ensured that CpExtra was loaded into the index.html file. The simulation is a large program and we want to avoid having to reprogram it again. Has anyone else had this problem after going to Update 2. Just to note, when the other types of fields that had a tab shortcut worked fine in HTML5.Thanks,Joe
