hi there, I am maintaining a website which was originally built on fusebox (not by myself).I'm keep getting this error:undefined CircuitYou specified a Circuit of home which is not defined. Now the weird thing is that it throws the error and 1 sec later you can load the same page with no issues. Then you browse to the next page it gives the error you refresh the page and it loads correctly. It looks like it needs more 'time' to work properly.Anyone has come across similar ? Is this a CF server issue or fusebox itself ?Thanks
I am having an issue trying to run a ColdFusion form using F-11 or pressing the run key. It will not load the default browser no matter what I do. I can type the address into a browser and it works fine. Does anyone have any idea what I have setup incorrectly. I am using ColdFusion 2016 Browser.Thank so much in advance.Ian Knowles
This is on a CF9 server on Windows 2008We do a lot of writing to and then including from, the VFS (Virtual File System). Very intermittently, we get these errors when attempting to write to the RAM disk. Retrying the failed WRITE operation usually succeeds. The filename is always a unique file name created with createUUID() in the filename.I have read that this stack trace error is related to deleting items from an array while accessing it at the same time. Do I need to lock all access to the VFS? I feel like that would really hurt performance. Should I clean up the temporary files created and written to the VFS at the end of the request, or maybe I should schedule it to run daily so there is less contention for those resources?java.util.ConcurrentModificationException at java.util.AbstractList$Itr.checkForComodification(AbstractList.java:372) at java.util.AbstractList$Itr.next(AbstractList.java:343) at org.apache.commons.vfs.provider.ram.RamFileSystem.listChildren(RamFileSystem.j

Hi, is it still possible to buy an update from Coldfusion 8 Enterprise to 10 Enterprise? It is very important for us,thanks
I got this sort of question. Our company has licenced coldfusion 9, can we pay to upgrade it to latest version? Or we need to buy new version? Which way will cost us less?PS: sorry for asking this sort of questions like this, cause i can't find any sort of adobe support mail for official answer.
I have written an application which runs a long process. On different PCs, this process last around 30mn.On local PC, with Windows 7 and CF9, no problem, everything is OK.I have put these lines :<cfflush interval="10"><cfsetting requesttimeout = "6000">Then , I have to put it on the Internet, to let access to different users from external after the long process. And , on Internet, on a shared serveur Windows 2008, CF9, same conditions, that long process makes 3/4 of the job, then the screen never change, nothing happens, no error message.wait wait, but nothing.Any help is welcome, to understand this different behaviour from these 2 different environment. Thanks, Pierre.
Hello all, I have tried looking through the forum but could not find an answer......I wanted to see if someone could tell me the best way dump XML that is posted to a cfm page we have setup. We will then insert into a table and the xmlparse directly from the table record.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!!!!
Greetings to you!We are migrating applications from Coldfusion 8 to Coldfusion 2016. Most of the applications have migrated simply and posed no problems. We do have on application (a set of programs) that in fact actually work and display output properly, however, the output has the literal Oracle Query dumped onto the screen above that output area. There is nothing inside of the code to "print" (cfoutput) that query, but the entire query does in fact splash out and onto the output area.Note that the physical output is there and is correct, it's just the fact that the query is dumping into the display.Has anyone out here seen this type of behavior? Solution(s)?Any help is much appreciated!!Thanks and have a great day!
Good day everyone. I got a question about Adobe Coldfusion. Our company had a web-service which require Adobe Coldfusion to work. We have a licensed Coldfusion 9. Coldfusion 9 worked with our old web-service with Windows 2008. Now we got new version with windows 2012. Unfortunately Coldfusion 9 don't work with windows 2012. Nowadays on official site we can see Adobe Coldfusion standart edition 2016, which can't be use with our web-service. We really interested in Adobe Coldfusion 10, which can be used with windows 2012 and our web-service.AS a result:We want to buy Adobe Coldfusion 10 Standart Edition, but there is no information about this product on your site. Can we upgrade out licensed Adobe Coldfusion 9 exactly to Adobe Coldfusion 10? Or can we downgrade Adobe Coldfsuon 2016 to Adobe Coldfusion 10?

Hello,We are in the process of migrating to AWS.We will be using Hashicorp's Packer and Terraform to manage the entire process for us so I am needing to acheive everything from the CLI so the images can be placed in to the Auto Scaling Group. We are using the CF2016 AMI on Ubuntu that is available in the market place. We have automated the installation (not a full install but can't remember it's name) but I need to have to boxes upgrade to the latest version of Coldfusion. I can obviously acheive this through the admin interface but I can not seem to find anywhere how to do thing from my Bash scripts.Has any one else run in to this or solved it?Thanks
Hello, I have a subscriber account that is unable to log in. The error claims their account was locked, but I don't have any indication why it was locked or how to unlock it. When I log in as admin, I'm unable to perform any actions on the account. I get an error claiming the account details cannot be retrieved. How can I resolve this, or is there any documentation on this matter? See below for images displaying the said errors. Thanks.

ColdFusion 2016 v2016.0.04.302561 (all updates released to this date installed)Tomcat v8.5.11.0OS Windows Server 2012 R2 v6.3Adobe Driver Version: 5.1.4IIS v8.5.9600.16384Hi,We are face a pretty strange and intermitent problem: ColdFusion is loosing variable values from SQL Server queries and variables created in the middle of the script. When we try to print de variable value with cfoutput or cfdump the return value is blank. It happens from time to time and sometimes it goes away without any action taken from our server staff and sometimes it stay like that until the ColdFusion service is stoped and started again. 2016.0.04.302561
We recently bit the bullet and upgraded from Coldfusion 10 to Coldfusion 2016, for new development we are no longer using Coldfusion but have several older sites that still use it. CF10 was no longer being supported as of the first of the month so we were forced to upgrade. We have another server running Coldfusion 11 which we upgraded from Coldfusion 9 with minimum problems, we've been running upgrades since Coldfusion 3 when Allaire owned it. This migration from 10 to 2016, however has been absolute hell the security fixes and depreciations made hours of work to get our sites back on line and they are still having issues. One of them is the cflayout tags are now all broken. (overflow="scroll" turned on to show the cflayoutarea css is ignored by the layout body)CFLAYOUTS no longer auto size, one of the sites is using it as a menu with 20 some categories and when you click it nothing happens, only until you put a height of 1000px in to the style does it become clickable, then every lay

I have a CF 2016 site that uses html cfgrid tags. They all display white text on a grey/silver background. The headertextcolor attribute has no affect. The site was recently upgraded from CF9 and it still works on CF9. On CF9 the site didn't specify a headertextcolor and the color defaulted to black but I am also able to change the column header color with the headertextcolor tag. I have tested the same CF 2016 site on both a Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter/IIS server production installation and a Linux OpenSuse 42.2 developer installation.Haven't found anything related to this on the Internet. Please help.
I just finished reading a book on introducing Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in ColdFusion. I found the book to be very enlightening on many levels however I was left with some questions and there didn't seem to be anywhere to go after the book to learn more advanced topics or to seek clarification or more information.I may be creating a few questions on this forum over the next few days/weeks with OOP related subjects and ColdFusion that I would love your feedback and opinions on - especially from people that have experience working with OOP.This question pertains to Data Access Objects (DAO) and best practices or recommendations for using them in a ColdFusion application. I'll be using a generic "User DAO" as an example.Historically whenever I've created a DAO method that updates a database table within a CFC I've always included a <cfargument> for every single column that can be updated in the database. Then within my method I check for the existence of an argum
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has ever figured out a way to install ColdFusion 9 in Windows 10 (IIS 10)? I understand CF 9 is not officially supported in Windows 10 / IIS 10, but I'm wondering if there is some clever way to make this work? Our ColdFusion production server is hosted by our ISP and we are unable to upgrade ColdFusion at this time, so I'm stuck with CF 9 for now. I would very much like to be able to continue to develop and test in the same version as our production server, and my new development machine is Windows 10.I tried the CF 9 installer, chose the developer option, and got no errors until I got to the step where the installer wants to load the ColdFusion administrator page to complete the setup process where I promptly get a 404.3 not found error. I tried rebooting the machine, went to the CF admin and same results. After some further looking into this, I believe the issue was that the IIS handlers never got installed, so IIS did not know what to do with a CFM file.

How can I download ColdFusion 11 Developer Edition for localhost? Thanks Will!
I'm trying to execute wsconfig on the following platform:Ubuntu 14.04Apache 2.4.7Coldfusion 2016When I run: sudo /opt/coldfusion10/cfusion/runtime/bin/wsconfig -ws Apache -dir /etc/apache2/conf-available -bin /usr/sbin/apache2 -script /usr/sbin/apache2ctl -vIgnore the coldfusion10 part in the path. I just haven't updated directory names just yet in my chef/vagrant cookbook/recipes/whatever files.I get:command line: -ws Apache -dir /etc/apache2/conf-available -bin /usr/sbin/apache2 -script /usr/sbin/apache2ctl -vUsing Apache binary /usr/sbin/apache2Could not determine Apache connector version.Check that the Apache binary path /usr/sbin/apache2 is correct. When I run:which apache2I get:/usr/sbin/apache2When I run:which apache2ctlI get:/usr/sbin/apache2ctlAccording to this https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/coldfusion2016-support-matrix.pdf Apache 2.4.X is supported on Linux 64-bit.What am I missing? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Hi -- We are thinking of upgrading from CF10 to CF 2016 and ALSO upgrading from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7 while we're at it.According to the matrix, RHEL 7 appears to be supported. Can anyone tell me if CF2016 uses the new RHEL 7 systemctl stuff to start/stop the CF process? Or is it still done through /bin/coldfusion start?Just wondering if anything special has changed for RHEL 7, or if it's still the same way as on RHEL 6.One other question: does anyone here use CF 2016 on Linux on a large site? Nice and stable and good? Recommend upgrading from CF10? Thanks!
I understand how to upload JPG files and Audio files using CFFILE. But no success uploading a video MP4 file. The Coldfusion server is rejecting that mime. In Coldfusion 10, am I to use CF Admin to add an acceptable mime type for upload to the server? Or is there an external file list of mime types CF server points to. How exactly is a new mime type added? I want to upload .MP4 videos using CFFILE. Right now ACCEPT="video/mp4" does not work. Thanks.
