Hello All- I have a strange problem with CFHTTP. I am sending JSON to a server using HTTPS via CFHTTP.  My code worked successfully under CF2016 for quite a while.  I migrated servers, now using CF2018, on Windows 2019.   My problem is that now I can send ONE post successfully via cfhttp, then it will no longer work.  I receive a 'Connection Failure' error after the first success.  I've repeated this exercise at least 30 times, with the same result each time. This is secure, and initially I thought the problem was with my Java certificates.  I installed what I believe are the correct certs. The strange part, is that it will work ONCE every time I restart CF.  I can successfully POST the JSON, and view the results on the target server, as well as receiving the appropriate response from the server.  The next POST will fail.  Every attempt after that will fail- even re-running the initial post that was successful p

Is it possible to see the actual query sent to the Solr server in a log? If yes, where is it located?

We've installed CF 2018 but are having an issue running the Auto-lockdown tool for 2018 Server.  It won't accept the CF admin credentials we put in as valid.  We've confirmed multiple times including copy/paste from notepad into both CF admin and into Auto-lockdown tool and CF Admin logs in fine.  Just Auto-lockdown won't accept.  Anyone else hit this?

Will there be any support for Australians to get this information too or are only Americans being given this information?      The first of this webinar series begins on Thursday at 3am (Sydney time)  and the second is on Friday at 3am (Sydney time) .  Will there be a recording made available so we can share the knowledge too?   Incidentally i've spent yet another frustrating hour trying to find someone who will talk to me about it but no.   There are no Australian phone numbers for Adobe and the online support just sends me to the CF Documentation.       Help for those of us trying to sell the Adobe ColdFusion product is as non-existent as it has always been here.  Mike KearWIndsor, NSW, Australia  

I am not having any success in changing the Solr defaultOperator to AND so that searches are more like web searches.  If I add an AND between words in my search form, I get what I want.  Without the AND it defaults to OR.I've changed the defaultOperator  parameter in all the schema.xml files I could find:\ColdFusion2018\cfusion\jetty\solr\conf\schema.xml\ColdFusion2018\cfusion\jetty\multicore\collections\CollectionName\conf\schema.xmlI also tried deleting and rebuilding all the collections once the changes to the \ColdFusion2018\cfusion\jetty\solr\conf\schema.xml were made without any joy.  The schema.xml files for each collection had the default set as desired after being deleted and rebuilt, but it still doesn't work right. My recollection is that I had to do this to get the default operator to work right in CF10.  I'm not seeing any documented changes to <cfsearch> or <cfindex> that should affect this. Ideas anyone?

I have PMT 2021 installed on my MacOS laptop and all is good. I then began the install on a Windows server we use as backup. First go install completed and all looked good but service wouldn't start. I tried making some progress reviewing logs and starting the services at the command prompt but decided reinstalling was worth the effort. I used the uninstall option from Windows control panel and then started over. This time however the only option I have to install is the datastore. There's no option for installing PMT any more, and going with just datastore installs just that. There doesn't appear to be any other trace of the previous install. Any idea on how I can get back to installing the entire package?  

I have a coldfusion web application. And I want to implement SSO for my ColdFusion application.As per my understanding ,Service Provider , in this case , is my ColdFusion application ?.Identity Provider is someone like Microsoft Azure ?. I am confused about this. Who should act as Identity Provider?. Do I need to create my own Identity Provider?. Complex object types cannot be converted to simple values. The expression has requested a variable or an intermediate expression result as a simple value. However, the result cannot be converted to a simple value. Simple values are strings, numbers, boolean values, and date/time values. I believe the issue is security related.

I've installed ColdFusion 2021 developer edition on a Windows machine.  I accepted the defaults when installing.  Did this install Apache for the web host or IIS or something else?  

We have a ColdFusion application that used ColdFusion 10 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. The server crashed after a windows update and we can't get it back. So, we commissioned a VM virtual server running Windows 2019 Server to run ColdFusion. Questions:* What version of ColdFusion should we install on Windows Server 2019? Certified?* Our application uses an MS Access mdb file. Can we still use this in ColdFusion xx and Windows 2019?* Can our ColdFusion 10 code work on the newer ColdFusion version in Windows 2019?This is a mission-critical application and we need to ensure success in this transition. Hi,Has anyone had license activation issues with CF2021? We have been experiencing license issues in all the servers we have installed at different times. Server 1 - We had CF2021 installed, but this machine did not have internet connectivity, hence we did the offline activation and activated the license for Enterprise version. However CF lost its license activation suddenly and reverted back to trial version. Server 2 - CF2021 was installed, server had internet connectivty, so the license key worked when applied through CF Admin console and activated as Enterprise version, ran for a month without any issues. Package manager was run to install reporting servlet, this also applied the Updater 1 in the background, 2 hours after this update, the server lost its license again, CF was trying to validate the cached license and then stopped after that. The next day we started the service and everything started working again. Server 3 - CF2021 was installed, license was activate

We are planning to upgrade windows server 2012 VM to Windows server 2019 .wanted to confirm if ColdFusion 11 will work on it ?Or do we need to upgrade the ColdFusion version along with Windows?

I imported the CF2018 setting using CFadmin package manager into newly installed CF2021 and now I'm getting a following error when I try to edit ORACLE specific Datasource. (MySQL and MS SQL are OK)Element urlmap.servicename is undefined in STDSN. I recreated one datasource and it seems to be ok, however, I have over 200 DS's that would prefer not to recreate manually. CF is running on Centos 7.9, cf v2021. Any suggestions?

Getting this error when attempting to update Server Settings: "Error","ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8009-exec-8","03/31/21","10:36:29","cfadmin","Provider org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found The specific sequence of files included or processed is: C:\ColdfusionX\cfusion\wwwroot\CFIDE\administrator\settings\server_settings.cfm, line: 675 " System Specifics:   Windows Server 2016 on a Physical Server. Any ideas on why it would be doing this?Other information:It seems to update Timeout Requests after seconds and Enable Per Application Settings, even though I get the error page, but everything after that it does not register the change.   

I am trying to use cfldap with the secure="CFSSL_CLIENT_AUTH" on Coldfusion 2016. I specified the p12 file location using clientcert and the password using clientcertpassword. I also imported the sever's cert into the cacert keystore. When I run the page I always get "One or more of the required attributes may be missing or incorrect or you do not have permissions to execute this operation on the server." Anyone have experience with this?

We recently upgraded to ColdFusion 2018 Enterprise, which is currently running on four different servers. Each of these servers has two instances running in a cluster. The servers are Win 2K19 with 8GB RAM. CPU usage in generally very low (i.e. < 10%). The number of concurrent users would be less than 50, which are accessing a single site, so I would not say there is excessive load. We have found that each Adobe ColdFusion Launcher Application service will start at around 700-800 MB and then slowly climb up until the point where, presumably, there is no more memory available to it and the ColdFusion site will become unavailable. Restarting the services resolves the issue until it eventually happens again. I have tried increasing the JVM memory allocation earlier from 1024 MB to 2048 MB in the CF admin, but I am guessing this is just going to allow the system to operate for a bit longer that usual rather than actually fixing the underlying problem. Any suggestions on h

I am using a linked server in the CFQUERY.The data source is type Microsoft SQL Server. The error page says “access to the remote server is denied because no login-mapping exists”.Worked OK in ColdFusion 10 on SQL 2012, but has this error in ColdFusion 2018 on SQL 2017.The linked server on this new SQL 2017 server should match the one on the SQL 2012 server. I created a view that uses the linked server, and then put that in the CFQuery.  Got the same error.Is there a way to fix or work around this?

Hi,Does anyone know how to fix the broken dialog box that pops-up when trying to apply the patches in package manager? Not all CF instances have this issue which make it more confusion why its broken for a particular instance. We are running Centos 7.9 and CF2021 (ZIP installer)To replicate, in Coldfusion Administrator (*/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm) webpage, you go to the package manager and you click "Download and Install" under core server. The confirmation box pops up but its only showing dialog box with not text or buttons.

I performed the same update on my developer edition and it works fine. I've checked all of the settings including the version of JVM and everything appears to be identical. The problem appears to be in CFQUERYPARAM, but not all of them. I'm a little embarassed to post this since I've recently posted something very similar, but this really is a different set of circumstances. I have a site running on ColdFusion 11 (v. 11,0,19,314546) without incident. As soon as I move it to ColdFusion 2018 (v. 2018.0.11.326016), without changing any code, I get the message "The system has attempted to use an undefined value, which usually indicates a programming error, either in your code or some system code. Null Pointers are another name for undefined values." This is on my local machine. I've tried rebooting, restarting ColdFusion, running in different browsers, clearing all cookies - no success. I've stepped through each line of my "onApplicationStart" block with <cfabort/> and everything is fine. When I add <cfabort/> as the first line within my "onRequestStart" block, I get the error. (There is no "onSessionStart" code, this is a fairly old site..) The site uses session management: <cfscript>this

I am having an issue with CF2021 standard where the application is experiencing performance issue. This is possibly due to the timeouts happening on one of the datasources in rds. Our App server is running on Adobe Std 2021, with httpd and tomcat on RHEL8 64bit. The app server also has a mariadb running on it, the application has the datasources on referencing to the local ones as well as the AWS RDS hosted ones.We are stuggling to find out what caused the issue.
