Connect

Hi everyone, One of our instructors experienced an unusal error this afternoon. When he logged into his meeting room he received a message stating that our server "is requesting permission to store information on your computer". He tried clicking the deny button, but the popup did not go away. I suspect that his Flash Player is set to refuse third party Flash cookies. Would this prevent Connect from launching? Any help/advice that you could give would be greatly appreciated. We're running Connect 8.2 wtih Add-In 9.4.81.Thanks.

I have been issued a license for our university's version of Adobe Connect (UMmeet). I am trying to download the Outlook add on for Adobe Connect 8 and I get an error message that says something about a 32 bit something is required. Will I not be able to use this feature?

We have recently noticed that the green pointer is not working properly in recordings. This is causing us huge problems. I believe it has been registered as a bug. Has anyone lese had this?  If not I suggest you check your recordinsg!Andreas

Why does the zoom and other pod options not always work?

For a meeting that I am a host, it still shows as being active...about 18 hours after it ended. Since that meeting, I have gone in and out of it and started and stopped the meeting, but it still shows as active from the session 18 hours ago. Also, those subsequent meetings do not appear. I am looking in Meetings, that meeting, Reports, Reports by Session.What am I doing wrong?Thanks,Dave

Hi all,I tried to send data from custom POD to PHP server with POST method. I used HTTPService component and URLLoader, but nothing happend. All attempts failed, HTTPService return "fault" and URLLoader return "0" that means I can't send data to the server.I'm googling around during few hours... please give me some advice, how I can send data from custom POD to PHP server.Thanks

I am able to use my webcam but, when I click on the microphone icon no one can hear me. I tested my microphone on skype and it was working fine but, not in adobe connect. I have windows 7 home with built-in webcam and microphone. Is there something I can do because I really need to use a microphone during the conferences.

Today it was brought to my attention that our Adobe Connect Guest accounts get “Invalid user or password. Please try again” errors after resetting their password. The same error occurs whether the guest uses the "forgot password” link, when an admin selects “Send a link to reset this user's password,” and when an admin selects “Set temporary password for this user.” I have just closed an Adobe Connect support case that took 8 months to resolve, and I am not happy about having to call support again.

There seems to be a very strange bug which makes my mouse cursor invisible while working within Adobe Connect. Neither I (Moderator) nor the guests within the Meeting can see the cursor. But when I move my mouse over die Navigation area the titles are highlighted as if the mouse is really there. Has anybody else had this problem? How can one solve it? Regards,Laura

Currently I have an Adobe Connect Monthly Plan with only 1 host and room for 25 attendees.If I increase the number of hosts to 2 I would be able to teach 50 students in a single meeting?

My maximum number of participants is 25. Can I add more than 25 participants to a webinar and perhaps pay extra? Are there options like this?

I created a captivate presentation with animation and when I record the audio I am unable to advance the animations when I want.  It seems like they advance all at one time.  Also, on some slides that have animation the audio pauses and requires the user to use the fwd button to make the audio/visual work.  help!

I am creating a form and need to have the dollar sign appear to the right of the number format. I am given the choice of the "separator" which allows for the way French currency is displayed, but I also need the dollar sign to be on the right-hand side. This should be a choice. Does anyone have scripting instructions to make that work??

How can I get scores to appear in connect when it is published as a pdf?

I'm developing a custom pod for our Connect 7.5 deployment, and I'm attempting to load an XML file that resides in the assets/ folder of my project. I run the pod in Flash Builder 4.5 to debug and it works just fine. Whenever I load the pod into our Connect 7.5 solution, it appears as if none of the events for the URLLoader are triggered. Is there something else I need to do? Please help!  Note - I have tried loading XML both from an actual URL and locally. Both work fine in the IDE just not when pod is in Connect.Thanks
