Hi everyone! Thank you for being a part of the Adobe Community — your contributions and presence help make this space vibrant, helpful, and inspiring! To improve your experience, we’re working on making it easier to find the right place to post questions or ideas about specific Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, or Creative Cloud. Sometimes posts end up in broader forums such as Creative Cloud Desktop or Services. When that happens, we move them to the most relevant product space so you can get faster and more accurate help. We’d love your feedback to help us improve the experience for everyone. Can you tell us how you discovered this community? Did you come across it through an Adobe app or the Help Center? Did you find us via a Google or web search? Or was this a forum you were already familiar with and trusted? Your feedback will help us make community navigation smoother—so everyone can get to the right place, right away.

When installing the Creative Cloud desktop application, your computer generates a folder called "Creative Cloud Files." The sync service previously created a backup of the contents of the folder online, but this service is discontinued (see this for more info:https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/eol-creative-cloud-synced-files.html). Furthermore, a shortcut to this folder was automatically pinned to the Mac sidebar and the Windows Navigation panel. Sometimes, you may want to remove this shortcut from the Navigation panel or the sidebar. Despite its removal, it reappears after upgrading or reinstalling the Creative Cloud desktop application. For individual users for whom 'Creative Cloud Synced files' had been discontinued, CCF folders would be renamed to "Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <profile_id/guid>", and a shortcut would be created in the navigation panel. The content inside this folder will not
To enhance the Adobe Creative Cloud storage experience, we would like to inform you of upcoming changes to the Creative Cloud file syncing service that may impact your workflow. Creative Cloud has previously enabled personal users to save files on their local devices in a folder called Creative Cloud Files. The contents of this folder can be synced (copied) to the user’s cloud storage via a process that runs on the local device. You can access those files locally on the device in a folder named Creative Cloud Files or through the Creative Cloud website within the Launch More menu (from the Synced files option) Discontinuation of Synced Files: We would like to inform you that the Synced Files feature in Creative Cloud will be discontinued. Starting February 1, 2024, the Creative Cloud desktop synchronization service and the folder and file-sharing capabilities of Creative Cloud Synced Files will be phased
Hey there Creative Cloud Community! Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce the release of CCD 5.10, which includes a brand new feature – a "Shared with you" listing! With this feature, you can easily access all your shared files, regardless of the file type - whether PS, AI, XD, design spec, prototype, PDF, or any other shared file. But that's not all - we've also made it easy for you to perform multiple file operations, including previewing, renaming, deleting, restoring (from deleted items), downloading, and viewing files on the web. Collaboration just got a whole lot smoother and more efficient! Update to the latest version today and start sharing files like a pro. To update, open the Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Check for Updates from the Help menu (on Mac) or three bars menu (to the left of Apps within the app itself on Windows). You can confirm you have version 5.10 from there as well. Best, The Creative Cloud Team!
