Digital Editions

I have four books that I need to load to my iPad. They came to me via email and I have successfully loaded two. Now the others will not load. When I click on open with Adobe Digital nothing happens. 

It's been months that I've been trying to fix this issue.I used to run it under Windows 10 without problems. After a system reset I can download files and open but the scrolling and leafing through is deactivated. I have tried to re-authorize, uninstall, reinstall. ADE 3.0 as well as 4.5.11. Still the same result. I keep reeding that people meet the same problem, never found a post with an actual solution.ADE is useless to me, but it 's the only way I can access certain documents for my studies. HELP!

I purchased a book on my phone but when I tried to open the same .acsm file using my laptop this error happens. What can I do here? I'm using the same Adobe ID in both devices

Hi,My Epub packages are working fine in Windows Digital Edition  with all hyperlinks.. but while using same epub packages in Mac OS Digital Edition, Hyperlinks are not working. It is showing Pop up Error "The Link you are trying to access is not valid" but the same link if i copied to any Mac Os browser its working fine.If anyone knows the answer please help me out..Thanks..

Hi I encounter troubles downloading 1 particular acsm file. I receive the error : E document type Unknown. Error  connecting to server.  My bookseller resent the file and has reset the license but problem persist Deathorising and re-authorise doesn't resolve the problem.  I am using a mac os x 11.6 Thank you  in advance your suggestions   

En mi PC tengo libros en formato epub que leía a través de ADE. Se estropeó el disco duro e instalé uno nuevo. Tuve que reinstalar la aplicación de ADE. Pero ahora, los archivos con la extensión epub aparecen con el dibujo del PDF, por lo tanto no puede abrirlos. Tampoco me aparece como predeterminado ADE, de tal forma que el archivo apareciese con su dibujo de siempre y por lo tanto puediera abrirlo.Alguien me puede orientar en donde está el problema y cómo solucionarlo?

He comprado 3 libros en la "Casa del Libro" y al descargar me indica error:Error al Obtener la licencia. Problema de comunicación con el servidor de licencias:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USEREl tema es que se descargó inicialmente sin id en el pc, pero no se podía pasar al ebook.Al seguir las instrucciones del helpdesk de la casa de libro, se borraron y se asignó un id al equipo.Y al volver a descargar ya no es posible, despues de muchos mails nos remiten a adobe.Y estamos sin libros y no nos hacen ningún reembolso o opción de recuperarlos.

I have adobe editions 4.5 on a Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) with macOS Big Sur. I am trying to deauthorize / erase the computer authorization. I can use Cmd-Shift-D on my Mac to bring up a deauthorization dialog panel. However, using the the password for my Adode ID, I cannot deauthorize / erase the computer authorization. It responds only by tellimg me that I cannot deauthorize my computer and to try later. I have a couple of times reset the password to my Adobe ID account with same results.  

Hello,This is my first time using this product and i'll admit I think I may have caused this issue myself, but once I got the ADE installed for the tech manual I was trying to purchase I ended up getting 5 copies of the same book.  I was wondering if anyone else had that issue, or saw something similar.I'll delete the 4 copies I don't need, but want to make sure there is nothing else going on.Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi, I'm having issues opening EPUB DRM files on my Kobo Forma. An error message appears saying I do not have authority to open these books on my Kobo. I have tried all the tips on the forum such as deauthorising and re authorising my device and laptop etc and deleting/redownloading the books and trying different books but nothing seems to work. I have been able to download and read regular PDF books off the libby app but not the EPUB DRM files for some reason. they open on the adobe digital editions app but not on the ereader. Any tips/help you could offer would be great.

I forgot my password to my ADE account and the email associated to the account no longer exist.  My attempt to recover my password was futile as a link was sent to the email address that was no longer existing.  I was then forced to create a new account.  However, when I was downloading my book using the new account, it was prompting me to add the new account to the old account in order to authorize the new account as the application was originally downloaded with a different user account or Adobe ID.

So today I open DE for a book and re-authorize my mac with new e-mail but now it can't let me activate the book showing me this error:"Errore di recupero licenza. Problema di comunicazione con il server delle licenza:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER".How can fix it?

I downloaded an ebook from my library via Overdrive, and tried to use ADE to load it to my Kobo.   I was using a new computer, and incorrectly chose to do that without authorizing the computer/Kobo.   When I realized my mistake, I deleted the book, erased it from the computer, erased the authorization on both, and returned the library book.   I then properly authorized both the computer and the Kobo, and checked out a new version of the book and tried to upload it to to the Kobo.  It transfers no problem, and opens in ADE, but it will not allow me to open it on the Kobo.  I have returned the book and checked it out numerous times now, tried erasing and re-authorizing the book numerous times.  But no matter what I try, that book now seems to be blocked.   How can I access it on the Kobo?

I can change the page background color in Adobe Reader. But I am unable to do so in "Adobe Digital Edition". Can anyone please tell me how to change the page background color in Adobe Digital Edition.

I have installed ADE 4.5.11 on my new notebook and transferred my ebooks. When I open ADE I can only see the cover of the ebooks and cannot read. When I try to turn the page nothing happens. Only when I close and open again ADE the page is turned to the next. What happens? Please help

I'm trying to download netgalley books to my kobo clara hd but to no avail. I have already downloaded books to this kobo before. I had it authorized to the computer I'm using, but it still wasn't showing up. I deleted the authorization to see if that would help, to no avail. I've tried unplugging it, deleting and redownloading ADE, reauthorizing my desktop, everything I could think of, but nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas to what I could do? I don't know what else could be happening.

After several attempts of get ebooks downloaded in the IPad, the solution was, take out the app and reinstal again, authorise the IPad in the adobe account, and voila, all the books purchased got downloaded. No way to transfer the files, downloading the pdf, EPUB, or other files. Hope this helps those like me wasted time asking to the official service (where the program drives me first). Enjoy, keep safeF6c0

I recently reformatted my Mac and reinstalled the Adobe Digital Editions app. I am trying to open an ebook I had used before (prior to the reformatting of the Mac) by opening the .acsm file that I have saved. However,  it won't let me open it, saying that "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER." Please advise.

My ebook is not able to open the the books that I have Adobe Digital Editions. The following message shows up when I try to open a book to read inteh ebook: "Error, please authorize the device the correct user using the host application. "And I don't know what to do.
