I rented two ebooks from my library, but when I tried to open them on my Kobo Libra H20, I got an error message about not having DRM authorization to read it. I've tried everything I could think of:Removed the books from Kobo's library and ADE's library.  Checked  authorization for my laptop and Kobo -- all good. Redownloaded the ebook.acsm file, readded to libraries --> no good: same error message on Kobo, and now ADE library shows two copies of each book.Removed the books from all devices (again). Went into the local files to delete the .acsm files. Redownloaded and readded books to the library --> Same error message on Kobo, ADE library shows 4-5 copies of the books.De-authorized laptop and Kobo. Re-authorized laptop and Kobo. Restarted laptop. Re-added .acsm files to ADE/device libraries --> Same error message on Kobo, now saying I need to re-import the book via ADE. ADE shows 3 copies of the books.So, in the end: I can read these books/their duplicates on Adobe

I downloaded DRM protectrd books from librarry to computer. I authorized computer wih Adobe ID. I did authorize same on e reader and it was exepted and linked to my e mail adress. When I tried to downloaded books from computer to e reader it came blanked and I try to read it says, that DRM credentials are problem and book not open.

Help please. Have lost password req'd to deauthorise computer to access ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS and install downloaded book into KOBO Ereader 

Hola, trabajo en una editorial, y nos dedicamos a la venta de epub con vuestro sistema DRM, hasta el momento dos clientes, nos ha dicho que tienen problemas al visualizar los epub en vuestro programa Adobe Digital Editions, y no solo nuestros epub, también con el de Introducción que aparece al instalar.Por lo que descartamos que sea problema de nuestros epub. Según nos comentan, cuando pinchan en los enlaces de la tabla de contenido o intentan desplazarse con el cursor, tarda mucho tiempo en  desplazarse hasta ese enlace o pasar de página, el marcador de página indica que esta en dicha página pero se sigue visualizando la anterior. ¿Podeis decirme a que es debido este comportamiento? Un saludo.

I recently bought a KoboGlo ereader. Several days ago I bought an ebook from Booktopia. However I was unable to download the ebook onto my new ereader. I was told that I needed to load Adobe DRM which I did. When I contacted Booktopia they told me that when I authorised my Adobe DRM I should have  "select 'Booktopia' next to Vendor ID, and then log in using your Booktopia account details ie email address and your Booktopia password as the password."I erased my Adobe DRM software from my computer and reloaded it but I seem to be unable to convince your software that I want to start over... it keeps telling me that I am using an ID and password that was used to authorise another computer!What do I do?A frustrated customer!Bob Ross

Bonjour je suis incapable de changer mon id adobe dand ma boite qui ouvre pour telecharger mes livresj ai une nouvelle liseuse je suis incapable de l autoriser parce qu il me donne mon ancienne adresse emailpar defaut  y a t il un endroit ou je peux aller pour modifier mon adresse email    je l ai deja change dans mon compte adobe mais ca reste toujours l ancienne dans ma boite de telechargementMerci

I purchased a book some months ago and activated it on the laptop I owned back then. I need to read this book on a new laptop but am unable to access it. Steps I've taken: I've de-authorised DE on my old laptop as per the steps here.Now when I open DE and attempt to open the book on my new laptop, I'm told by DE "Authorization Needed".The eBook vendor is set as Adobe ID.My standard Adobe ID & password do not work and I'm really struggling to figure out how to access this eBook that I paid for. It seems I cannot reset the password in a standard password reset manner either [ie. click reset password and an email is sent to the email in question with a new temp. password]Adobe chat were unable to help and directed me to here!Pls see screenshot of what I see in DE Please help!Thanks!

Are you able to open two windows of Adobe Digital Editions at the same time? I have two different text documents that I would like to compare, and it would be easier to read it side by side instead on two separate devices.

I have a book purchased and authorized on ADE but I cannot remember the password. Now I also no longer have access to the email to get the case. I have been trying to resolve this for 2 hours with support but still no luck. Can someone help me?

Hi,I have a couple of files in ADE for study. Sometimes I read them on my laptop, sometimes on my desktop. In order to enable this, I put my files on OneDrive. However, every time I open ADE, it shows the files but states they are missing.Because this gets annoying, I moved the files to a local folder on my computer. However, it still states the files are missing every time I open ADE. I then have to delete them from my library, look for the folder and add them again.Is there a way so ADE remembers what is in the library and where I am reading?Thanks.

Adobe Digital Editions PC & maybe Mac missing dark mode which cause glare and injury to the eyesight thus reducing number of users reading books. More importantly, due to millions of touchpoints per year over lifespan of human or Adobe Digital Editions, there are significant reduction in the total number of brain thoughts colliding with each other which reduces the probability of sparking insights in human brain via reading to create the cure for cancers and insights to create new products and services to max your profits.  Please add dark reading mode to Adobe Digital Editions.

I have to convert a .acsm file to an .epub file with my ADE program but I cannot because the option of authorising my device is already done, so I am trying to unauthorise my device and authorise back again but the ADE asks me for a password to let me do that, and I already forgot the password. I contacted the technical support and they made me able to recover the password (in fact, to choose another new password) but then I try with this new password and it didn't work either. Can you tell me what can be the problem?Thank you very very much!

I have and iPad Pro that I use as a day to day laptop. I also have a nook that I use as my e-reader. It would be great if I could transfer books from ADE to my nook from my iPad Pro.I don't see why this wouldn't be possible if the file can be made available in the files app it would be easy to transfer from the iPad to the nook. It's the same process as using a Mac or PC

I've spend the last hour trying to get a book on my Kobo reader. Here's what I think is going wrong:I have an old laptop with digital editions on it, that laptop is authorised.I tried authorising my new laptop, it wouldn't accept my account because it's already been used on another device.I then tried to import the ebook into the DE libraryon my new laptop anonymously. That worked, but then I couldn't transfer it to my ereader.I then tried the process described here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions/authorizing-new-computer-with-de3/td-p/8205735That worked, I now have autherised DE on my new laptop, but I can't import my ebook anymore; it reads: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER.This is highly frustrating; is there any way to save my book or is the ACSM bodged now?

Quite a strange bug. Pretty much whats in the title. Turning pages by any means only changes the page number but doesn't update the page itself, that is until i open or close the table of contents at which it updates. I cant uninstall the app because i dont have the download file for my book again. For some reason my books dont show up on mobile even though i already have them on PC, and i have to use a book download file for my library to show up at all on my PC (which has resulted in me now having 4x duplicates of another book). And even then there are some missing. Concidering this i dont think a reinstall is worth trying. Is there any repair tool for the program, or a way to fix this bug?

I can no longer download books with Adobe Digital Editions because i forgot the password. Now i've created a new one but it's not working either. how do i delete my old and new idea? Ik kan geen boeken meer downloaden naar mijn reader met adobe digital editions.  omdat ik mijn wachtwoord vergeten ben dus heb ik een nieuwe ID gemaakt maar ook dat werkt niet hoe kan ik nu mijn nieuwe zowel mijn oude ID verwijderen?  Hartelijk bedankt voor de moeite. 

How can I find out which id I used to download a ebook to my pc. I tried every id I could think of and nothing works. Getting a message that the book is registered to a different id. I ied following some instructions found elsewhere on the web but think I messed things up. I can no longer open the ebooks I have in my Adobe Digital Edition.Thanks in advance for your help.

Photoshop elements 2001 classroom in a book is an adobe press book. I purchased it through Adobe press. The only way I can access the book is to return each time to my Adobe press account. I've tried to download the e-book, but it saves only in HTML format. I tried customer support, but apparently that is via Pearson, and it is useless because Pearson focuses only on their books. I have downloaded hundreds of books, and this is a first for me. Any suggestions?Thank you

I have 4,5 latest ADE on windows 10. When I try to download book from library, I get message: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED  I erased and authorise computer running win 10 several times, reinstalled ADE but no remedy. Please help.

I have an ebook that was purchased.  I recieved my link, I saved it to my library.  When I open and try to authorize with my Adobe ID and password I keep getting an error message that reads:  The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again.My ID and password are correct, I can logon to Adobe on my PC.  I get no help from Adobe support and was just told to post my question here.
