How do I Authorize Digital Editions on a Macbook Pro? Adobe customer service refuses to help and just tells me to contact the forum.

I can download books from CloudLibrary but I cannot view them or move them to my Kobo from Adobe Digital Editions. My Kobo and Adobe have the same Authorization. I think the issue might be from my browser - perhaps that the email given permission on Adobe is not the same one associated with my browser when I borrow the book. But I dont know how to fix this (or if this is even the issue).

i have this problem with my e-book-reader. the support is not able to reset, because help isn't still possible. Have you got the solution for me?

Buenas tardes, la aplicación de Adobe Digital Edition siempre ha funcionado en mi ordenador y siempre ha copiado los epub al ebook sin problemas, pero desde hace un mes me dejó de copiar los libros al ebook, nunca se terminan de copiar aunque me salen en el ebook pero al abrirlos sale fallo en el archivo. No me aparece ningún tipo de error en la aplicación, simplemente los libros no se copian. Necesito ayuda porque he probado los diferentes métodos que se deben seguir para la solución de problemas y ninguno ha dado solución. Los métodos utilizados han sido desinstalar y volver a instalar la aplicación, borrar la autorización y volver a introducir mis datos, actualizar a la última versión la aplicación. Nada funciona. Muchas gracias de antemano! 

Hello, I purchased an ebook yesterday and was advised "The download links expire after 90 days so to continue using the ebook after the expiration, you simply must save the ebook to ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS". However, after authorizing my computer and opening the book on ADE, it just says 89 days remaining. I should have indefinte access. How do I save the book so that I have access to it after 89 days? I am using a Macbook. 

How can I recuperate or reset my password for ADE? 

I'm trying to authorise ADE on my laptop (as per instructions from Kobo to try to unlock some books). I already have an Adobe account. I've installed ADE fine, I can open it. I then select "authorise computer" from the Help menu. I leave 'Adobe ID' as my ebook vendor. I enter my Adobe ID and the matching password (which I literally have just used successfully to log on here!) and click "authorise". I get the red-print message "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected ebook vendor. Please try again." Can anyone help? The bot on the chat just directed me to the "errors logging in page", the woman I got when I said that hadn't helped just directed me to the exact set of "authorise ADE" instructions I've already used 10 times and then when I said I'd done all that she directed me here! Hope there's a solution to this!

Today all my ebooks disappeared from the library/are not visible. When I try to add a book, it says book is allready in library. 

Hello, I am really frustrated,,,,,a day or so after I load my batch of books onto the program the program deletes my whole batch of books and I have to load them on all over again,,,,,HOW/WHAT can I get the program to NOT delete anything I load on????? HELP!

Bonjour,J'ai acheté une liseuse et j'ai donc créé un identifiant adobe. En voulant télécharger l'application, j'ai remarqué que j'étais déjà connectée avec un autre identifiant (pas la même adresse mail). Je souhaite lever l'autorisation sur mon ordintauer mais impossible, ça écrit de réessayer plus tard. Je ne peux pas non plus ajouter une nouvelle autorisation. Sur mon natel l'application marche et j'ai pu faire le nécessaire, le problème est vraiment sur mon ordinateur. Quelqu'un sait ce que je dois faire?

comment puis-je mettre un 2ème identifiant sur ma liseuse kobo car j'ai du télécharger des livres avec l'identifiant de mon épouse.

I ordered one piece 1 and 2 on fnac and downloaded it on the adobe digital. The first one that ordered was great and readable but the the second one is, uhm very very small and I can't read it how do I fix that? 

As I have issues with downloading the Ebooks on the Adobe Digital Edition. I have downloaded the link in my internet explorer. but after double-clicking there the book is not downloading in adobe digital edition. 

Bonjour, depuis quelques temps, mon 2ème ordi a un écran blanc à l'ouverture de ADE 4.5.11. J'ai fait la désinstallation et réinstaller le logiciel en supprimer l'autorisation et en autorisant à nouveau l'ordinateur avec mon ID Adobe mais je n'arrive pas à voir les livres. Lorsque je copie un livre dans la bibiliotèque, il me répond qu'il y est déjà. J'ai besoin d'aide pour pouvoir utiliser ADE comme il faut sur cet ordinateur.

When i want to authorize my kobo it gives : DE have detected a fault on their server.If i wanted a book that i downloaded put on DE: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12I deleted DE and reinstalled it, doesn't work WHAT CAN I DO and DE why doesnt work your program?

 I cannot open pages when I have loaded books. Only the cover page will be open but pages do not open. Page numbers shows but pages do not open. How I can solve the problem? I did not have this problem in my old computer. Can anyone help? 

I used to borrowed books from my library.  This time around it is not working.  Got the message (translated to English here from French) : This book is protected.  Becuase you have desauthorized your reader you have to reimport the book by using ADE.  I tried EVRYTHING found here in this community, and elsewhere in the internet : Desauthorised my computed, my e-reader, uninstalled ADE on my computer, brought back my e-reader with factory settings, and reconfigured all this.  Tried Many time.  Even had a chat with Kobo support who made me do the same things again.  NOTHING WORKS.  Please!! I'm going CRAZY!!

I have spent hours on this. The stupid thing updated and now will not work in Win 10. Tried 3 and says check activation which shows good. 2 just does not work, I have stripped all references to ADE from the registry and deleted stuff in appdata and reinstalled all three and still same problems. I cannot read my library books at all. We are stuck with using this free mandatory application and it does not work. Yes I am fruystrated to tears. I usually get paid a bit for my time. Is anyone else having this trouble? I ried chatting with a rep, but all he had was a link to 4.511. I have installation files for 2 AND 3, but my 4.510 is gone. Can anyone help me make 3 work? TIA

First, i bought an e-book from PCI. I authorized ADE without vendor ID so i can only open this file on only my PC. After that i try to use Adobe id. I erased authorization and try to authorized with adobe but i forgot my password. So, i authorized it back without vendor id again on the same PC. But now i got "e_lic_already_fulfilled_by_another_user" error message. How can i do???

Received the following error: Unable to downloadError getting license. License server communication problem:E_ADEPT_HTTP_NOT_SUPPORTED Any solution for this? Please help! 😞

I use Digital Editions to load borrowed library Ebooks onto my Nook reader as well as "returning" those books and then deleting them from my Nook. However, when I delete Ebooks, Digital Editions still leaves EPUB and ANNOT files associated with the books in the My Documents/My Digital Editions folder on my PC. I contacted Adobe technical support online chat to ask if those files should be automatically deleted from the PC by Digital Editions when books were deleted from the Nook and was told that the files on the PC would "get deleted in a few days." I told the support rep that I had files on the PC from deleted books that were a couple of months old. I asked the tech rep is perhaps I was doing something wrong in my sequence of: "returning" the book, then deleting the book in the library list in Digital Editions and then pointing to the Nook in Digital Editions and deleting the book there as well.  The tech rep then gave me a link to this forum to solve Digital Editions problems.&

Hi,I just tried to retrieve my ebooks (drm protected) on my new mobile phone via pocketbook application. When i tried to open them, I got a message that I am not authorized (already authorized by a different Adobe ID).  I made several attempts and with other ereader applications and they showed me a similar message.As a result i exceeded the maximum number of activations allowed. And now I dont know what to do with either of my problems. I communicated with adobe helpdesk by message and by  phone and they told me to post here my problem.Thanks in advance.
