Digital Editions

Hi there,The laptop i was using ADE on crashed on me. I have now installed ADE on my new laptop, but when i try to authorize this machine, i get the error"You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again."Can someone please help reset or deactivate the earlier computer i authorized? Or suggest an alternative resolution? Thanks very much.    

Ayer me descargué Adobe digital Edition 4.5 para poder bajarme unos e-book que habia comprado. Pero para autorizar el equipo me cree un Id de Adobe. Utilizando el mismo correo que utilice para la compra y una contraseña. Pero luego cuando la metía me decía que era incorrecta. Y lo siguiente que hice es desinstalarlo y descargármelo de nuevo y crearme otro Id de Adobe con mi segundo correo. Y los mismos problemas que con el anterior. Y sinceramente ya no se que hacer para poder autorizar al equipo.

Hello. I have downloaded this app to read my book. I have downloaded my book, the app and done everything accordingly as suggested but when I open my book in the app and try to change pages, it doesn't do that except for the book cover and the first page. It shows the page numbers to be changing while scrolling but the pages do not change. Please help me as soon as possible bcoz my classes have started and even got some work to do from this book. But due to this app, I am unable to do it.  

For some reason My ADE authorisation went down and I was unable to get it back. I tried all the solutions offered in the forum which I thought I could manage (not the Regedit) but nothing worked. I therefore took the nuclear option and opened a new account which authorised the computer with no problems. This appears to have overwritten the old account. I find that my ADE library is still accessible, but I am not sure of its functionality.  Will the books in the library still be accessible for download to Calibre from the new account. Will the new account effect the ability to transfer existing  books already in my  Calibre library onto my reader. Kobo tell me that there should be no problem with new purchases and they say they will reset my DRM settings. My ebook system involves Windows8-Kobo purchasing-download to ADE- transfer to Calibre library- transfer to SonyT2 reader

Descargué la aplicación de ADE en mi nuevo ordenador (Windows 10) al pasar a la opción de Lectura no funciona el av.página o re.pag se queda la pantalla en la primera hoja. Tengo el equipo autorizado y copié libros de mi antiguo ordenador al actual. Alguien puede decirme cual es el problema. Gracias.

hello,i cannot open my books and i can not find the files related to it. 

I am using a public library book app called BorrowBox and have downloaded an e-book to my PC using Adobe digital editions. The aim was to transfer the file to my e-reader. I want to use my local library rather than buying books all the time. Unfortunately my Kindle paper white e-reader does not accept e-pub format so I am trying to convert the book from e-pub to either pdf or text or doc.  It may be read only or password protected but any site I use to convert says it can't do it. Any ideas how I can read the book on my kindle? It apparently works on the kindle fire but that is no use to me.

I am having trouble getting into my account on Adobe Editions on my Macbook. I had Adobe Editions installed on my previous laptop and also have it on the app on my phone. I am able to install the program however I don't know how I'm supposed to access the book I've already bought. I can see it on my phone and the account associated correctly. There is no button or sign-in on the program on my Macbook so I don't know how I'm supposed to access anything. I was also told to authorize the download to my computer using my adobe login information, however, that does not work at all. 

How do I make sure the highlights are still there next time I open the book on my computer?I can't se a save-button, and I noticed that my highlighted sections disappear when I close the program down and reopen it.I use a PC.

Hi'I have issues opening a book that has been downloaded on ADE. Its an ISACA material on CDPSE

'Unable to Download’ ‘Error getting license, license server communication problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN’ Above is the message I receive when I try to open the book in Digital Editions 4.5. I have authorized the computer.  Please help, I have tried everything over the past 2 days.  

Can I re-download a book after it's 21-day loan period has expired? Or does this software only allow one-time downloads?

Hello, I bought a book via bol.com that is meant for the Kobo reader. On their website they advise using Adobe Digital Editions to convert the file to .epub and remove authorisation so that the file can be converted to MOBI for kindles (see here: https://www.bol.com/nl/klantenservice/a/5671985870798848/lezen-op-je-e-reader-geen-kobo#particles_block_3). However, when I follow these steps the DRM is still there. What steps can I take to convert the file?  Thank you in advance. 

I have never had any trouble in the past, however in the last few days when trying to download a overdrive library book onto my kobo aura h20 I keep getting a warning on the device saying that my "eReader is not authorized to open this book" "This book is protected by (...) DRM. Because you previously deauthorized your e-reader you need to re-import the book". I am not aware of de-authorizing my e-reader. I have tired de-authorizing and re-athorizing both my computer and kobo as well as un-installing and re-installing Adobe Digital Editions. I have tried using different browsers, as well as different books. However no matter what I do I keep getting the same warning. 

I got a new nook and when I try to activate it it says I have too many devises. When I troubleshoot it tells me to contact customer support to reset my activation count. When I call the # it hangs up on me. There is not e-mail address to customer care? At a loss as to what I can do at this point??? Looks like its in Adobe's hands but there's absolutely NO SUPPORT.

Hallo,bis zum 5.10.2020 lief mein ADOBE Programm auf meinem Laptop völlig problemlos. Seit dem 6.10. kann ich es nicht mehr öffnen, und ich kann keinen Fehler finden. Ich habe alles deinstalliert und wieder neu installiert. Jetzt ist auch die neueste Version 4.5.11 auf dem Rechner. Mein BS ist Windows 10 Wäre super, wenn mir irgendjemand weiterhelfen könnte. Vielen Dank

Some time ago I had an issue with Acrobat Pro DC: when I asked for assistance I was advised to reinstall the product, and the issue was solved.Some time later I tried to access one of the texts that I had downloaded some time ago for Adobe Digital Editions, and suddenly I found that I cannot access any of them because I get the message "license key damaged".The chat assistance in Italian advised me to deactivate and reactivate the authorization of the program, but when I tried to do so I received the message that "it was temporarily not possible". The Italian-language chat support then passed my issue to the English-language chat support, which suggested that I reinstall Acrobat Pro DC. When I pointed out that my problem was rather with Digital Editions, he advised me to post a message in this forum.Since I no longer know who to turn to, I would just like to point out that I have paid for each of the texts that I can no longer access, and that I pay my monthly fee to use Acro

Whenever I try to open ACSM files in ADE it crashes/becomes unresponsive and the only way to close the program is using the Task Manager or restarting the computer. Once it's been closed and re-opened my book still isn't there are attempting to open the ACSM file again causes the same crash. I've tried the most recent version as well as v3.0 and v2.0.1. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, de-authorising and re-authorising with my Adobe ID, deleting or renaming the "My Digital Editions" folder, running ADE as an administrator, running ADE in compatability mode for previous versions of Windows, installing to Program Files instead of the default Program Files (x86), installing to D drive, and installing in a new Windows user profile. I've tried ACSM files from two different sources. I'm running Windows 10 Home (64-bit). Any help is very much appreciated because I cannot use my eReader as I want to without being able to open these ACSM files in ADE! I recently got an eReader as

I have a new computer and new Kobo Clara reader. I installed version 4.5.11 and downloaded an epub. Sometimes it shows up in ADE and sometimes it doesn't. When it does show up, I'm unable to open it or right click on it to add to my Kobo, and ADE freezes. I've also done what some people on here recommended and deauthorized that version, uninstalled it, and installed 3.0. Same issue. In both versions I'm also unable to access my ereader. Both computers are running Windows 10 and I'm wondering if that's the issue. Any suggestions? I don't have access to a computer with an older version of Windows on it.

I'm trying to open a purchased textbook on adobe digital edition and it asks me for the vendor ID. I purchased it with the Campus eBookstore vendor. But it doesn't allow to select that Vendor and have to have me enter the adobe ID. The thing is that I purchased the ebook through my college bookstore and I register with the campus ebookstore vendor instead of adobe id. When i try to reauthorize the book it only allows me to use the adobe id vendor (the button is locked and I can't select for other vendor) but not campus ebookstore vendor which I can’t retrieve the book now. I just wonder how can I change the vendor to campus ebookstore instead of adobe id?

Helo, guys please can you help me with the adobe digital reader. I authorised the previous computer to read my e book, now when I bought a new computer a can't authorise it, it says " e book license already fulfilled by another user" so I can't use? What should I do to authorise my new computer?

hello so I bought an ebook and it provided a user name and password to access it but it doesnt work. I tried resetting my password with Adobe and that didnt work and I dont know what else to do to try an access it and get it downloaded.
