Hi, I've downloaded a library book and made notes and highlights in Adobe Digital Editions.When the book was returned and I borrowed it again all notes where gone.What is the best way to work with notes/highlights for library books?

Hi, I was using Adobe Digital Editions to get my library books. But the recent book would not appear. It appeared in my computer but not in my Kobo. I was told I needed Edtion 3.0. So I downloaded that, but it says: The developer of this app needs to update it for it to work with this version of MacOs. 

 I am an university student, and I have bought two required textbooks from the school which both are requied using Adobe Digital edition to open. But after I download the first one successfully, when Iwas downloading the second it said failed. Please help thank you

I hace some problem about use ADE,  When I authorize Digital Edition app on my IPad then the pop up show on the below picture. I don’t know how I should do further, deauthorize Adobe Digital Edition on my notebook before open on my IPad? If not, please advise how should I do. I bought an ebook from emond.ca and as instructed installed adobe digital editions, which worked properly. Shortly, my laptop brokedown and I reset it. When I tried to open my ebook again, a dialog box popped up and told me authorization was needed. It seems I need to enter the proper Adobe ID and corresponding password, but I have no idea about that. I created a new account but it doesn't work. Please help me. Thank you!

I need Adobe to fill out Technicial information form to be completed for my district. This is needed prior to installing Adobe Digital Editions in our computer labs. How can I get the form filled out electronically?  

I had this ebook reader since christmas and it has been working prefectlybut suddenly I could not open the book I was reading,I tried to download it again, but then I got this error message,tried a different ebook title, but I got same error message.Anyone that knows what has gone wrong?and have a solution?    

touchpad, mouse wheel, and page up and down are the only ways to scroll! no touchscreen or at least arrow keys. nope, only full pages at a time. what a bunch of crap. how can touch pad work but not touch screen?! im not saying i do it but things like this are why people pirate. when pirating offers better functionality than the real product, it almost seems foolish to obey the law. companies who sell their e-books to be used with ade are probably losing money to pirating as a result. adobe, please revise your software to add this basic functionality.

Friends please help!I have installed digital editions 4.5.11 and at one point it stopped working... I reinstalled it and it does not load... it is installed on Win10.What can I do?

bonjour,Ca fait plusieurs tentatives que j'essaie de lire un livre emprunté à ma bibliothèque municipale et c'est sans succès.en effet il m'indique que :"le livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Management(DRM) ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précédemment, vous devez le réimporter en utilisant Adobe Digital Edition (ADE). "j'ai autorisé l'ordi et la liseuse de nouveau à adobe, j'ai aussi désinstallé à plusieurs reprise adobe, puis réinitialisé la liseuse, c'est toujours pareil...il faut savoir que j'ai il y a quelques semaines déjà emprunté de la même manière et que tout fonctionné.il faut savoir aussi que je peux lire le livre actuellement emprunté sur mon ordi... mais toujours pas sur la liseuse.j'aimerais de l'aide s'il vous plait.cordialementVanessa B

Bonjour, J'ai dû changer le disque dur de mon ordinateur où Adobe était installé. Il n'a pas été transféré sur le nouveau disque dur. Depuis, je l'ai ré-installé mais lorsque j'emprunte un livre numérique de la bibliothèque et que je le télécharge, il n'apparaît pas dans Adobe. Pourquoi? Peut-être que lorsque j'avais installé Adobe sur l'ancien disque dur j'avais autorisé «sans ID», donc pas transférable sur un autre ordinateur. Si c'est le cas, peut-être que c'est la raison pour laquelle le livre téléchargé n'apparaît pas sur la nouvelle installation de Adobe. Comment puis-je maintenant accéder à mes téléchargements sur Adobe ? (sur la nouvelle installation de Adobe je n'ai pas peris «sans ID»). MerciDanielle 

Computer drive went bad, replaced drive, re-installed Windows, now when trying to register book with my Adobe ID I get the error: "Limit of number of machines allowed per ID Reached. Hello, I am trying to access my etext. it told me the license key was damaged so I erased authorization, but now when I try to authorize the computer it keeps telling me my user/password is wrong even though I just signed up on my email and verified it

I've had troubles with a Kobo Clara HD and received a new one but now I cannot authorise with Adobe Digital Editions.E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONSFrom the program, I've tried to contact support but after three "specialists" I get the recommendation to try this page.Why not put something on the FAQ for this? Anyway, can someone help me to resolve this issue? Kind regard,  Peter

I have been using ADE for sometime for a couple of textbooks. When I installed it a few months ago I was able to authorize my computer it with my Adobe ID and download the books.This morning, however, the software crashed. It completely locked up, and I had to kill the process in Task Manager. Now, when I open it, it says it is no longer authorized. I have tried reauthorizing with my username and password to no avail. I can confirm that the username/password IS correct. The password does not contain anything other than letters and numbers. As the ebooks are already authorized, I cannot access them until I can get ADE to accept my login.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello ! Can someone give me help ?I have recently got a Kobo Clara Reader. Previously I bought some e-books on Google Play Books. Now I would like to transfer those e-books to my Kobo Reader. I was in contact with a Technician from Google Play today who told me that Adobe Digital Editions may be the problem. I have a different e-mail address for Google and for Kobo and Adobe Digital Editions. Right now I wanted to change my ADE Address and it doesn't work. Finally I have got a lot of troubles with Adobe by changing my address and after more than 1 hour chat nobody was able to help me !

Due to ongoing hard drive errors for the past two months, I had to erase my drive and start again. I recently downloaded a ePub book to read via Adobe Digital Editions and authorized without a vendor ID. And I got this message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER  Any idea on how to fix it?

Hi all,I try to read a ebook from a laptop that have been dowloaded and authorized from my PC.I have first dl it on pc, read it, on pc, but i have used no ID connexion because I wanted to do it later.Then I tried to do the same on laptop, but impossible to reach the authorization. From this I began to log with an ID from an adobe account, on the two machines. Since then, it's impossible to me to read again the ebook, on PC and on laptop.I had severals errors statement trying these like : ebook used by another utilisator, thing like thatand the two adobe accounts on the computers is the same What did i do to end up that bad ? if somebody can help or explain the process to read those books u save my day Thanks, i hope this is a common feature but i haven't saw any answer to this in the forum.

I have a blank screen when I open ADE. I have followed the advice about renaming the folder. It worked the first time, but then everything disappeared again and it won't work now. I can add a EPUB file and it shows but won't sync to Kobo. Then I close ADE  and reopen and it's blank again. If I try to add the EPUB again, ADE says it's already there.Currently, I use it to borrow library books (Overdrive). I can download (doesn't show), then sync and that works. But I'm now in need of being able to beta-read EPUBs, and I can't see them so I can't sync.I have uninstalled/installed. Can't find chat anymore.Also, if I click on Reading tab, it closes ADE. Version 4.5.11.187303.

I recently purchased a course pack through my college, and can't seem to open it on my Samsung Galaxy s6 Tab. It works fine on my computer, but when I download it on my tablet, it doesn't open with ADE. It says I don't have any apps that open the file. Anyone have any advice?
