Digital Editions

When I download the "ADE_4.5_Installer.exe" from adobe website and open it on my Window 10 laptop, an NSIS message pops out stating "Error launching installer". May I know if there's any solution to this?Thank you very much! 

I just downloaded an acsm file, normally I just drag it to ADE Library, but this time (for this specific book) I encountered an error: E-AUTH-BAD-DEVICE-KEY-OR-PKCS12. I understand that the solution is to erase authorization, and then login Adobe and authorize my macbook again. But before I erase authorization, I just want to confirm if this process will going to delete my existing books in the ADE Library? Because if it is, then that solution of de-auth and auth is not suitable for my situation. Any idea? Thank you.

J'arrive à télécharger mes livres mais ma liseuse me dit:  Ce livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Managements (DRM)  Ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précédemment, vous devez le rėimporter en utilisant Adobe Digital Éditions (ADE) Pour en savoir plus,..pourtant je vérifie et tout est autorisė.  Je supprimé ADE après avoir enlevé l'autorisation et sur ma liseuse et sur mon MacBook Air.  Je réinstalle le tout et autorise ã nouveau les deux appareils après avoir fait un redémarrage.  Rien ne fonctionne. Kobo m'a envoyé une procédure mais le problème persiste, ce devrait être une question d'autorisations.  Que faire?

Hi, community. I want to read my books in two columns, but i can´t find any way to get it. I'd be very thankful if someonte tells me how to do it. 

For a couple of months now, when I use the Adobe digital app for Iphone, it shuts down when I'm trying to add a book. It's not always doing it; I tried with 2 different book source (prêt numérique and Numilog). Already tried to remove and reinstall the app; tried to change the ID; still doing it. I can get the book, it's getting updated in the app, but then the app shuts down and even when I'm trying to reopen the app and get to a book, it shuts down again and again!

Pourquoi le livre que j'ai téléchargé de ma bibliothèque locale ne s'ouvre pas dans l'application ADE sur mon ordinateur de bureau et pour lequel l'autorisation a bien été activée ? De plus aucun message d'erreur n'est indiqué. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider  je l'apprécierais ?

I have computer(windows 7) and cobo clara authorised.I reinstalled,deauthorise and authorize again and it is not working.I can not load book from ADE to cobo clara.Thanks

Hi,I tried to reset my password in order to be able to use Adobe DRM on my ebook reader (previously, I connected via Google). However, when I clicked on "Reset password" I received the following error code: a847b23c-6a52-451c-9b49-0a95fd8a7ba2.What should I do now?Thanks in advance for any help.

In order to use a document in digital editions on my text to speech reader on iOS I need to download the root file. Am I right in saying this isn't possible?

I purchased a new PocketBook Touch Lux 4 in and installed/syncronized Adobe DRM in order to transfer my ebook from the PC; unfortunately it is about three days I'm trying to copy the books on my reader but I although I manage to transfer them I receive an error message saying that I do not have the rights to open them and I need first to install Adobe DRM on the device (and this is already installed).

Hi,I'm trying to authorize a new computer for my Adobe ID in Digital Editions. This fails with the message that my login/password is incorrect for the selected vendor. I've tried to reset my password multiple times, no luck. I can however login successfully on the webpage (and this forum) using the same ID. I've tried on and off to get this to work for a week now, same result every time. I would really appreciate some help in getting this to work and being able to access my books again.

I have already successfully downloaded the Digital Editions to my first iPad. Then, I downloaded an ebook which does have appeared in the Digital Editions. However, every time I clicked the ebook, either the Digital Editions turned off automatically or the ebook showed the sign of loading. At the initial, I thought there were something wrong with my first iPad. So, I went through the same processes again using my second iPad. The things keep happening again and again. The other ebooks in the Digital Editions are fine, no such problems appear. In short, the ebook I want is already in the Digital Editions. I just cannot open and read it. My Adobe Digital Editions is Version 4.5.11.187353 On top, I have chosen "authorised". Also, I have tried few times removing the ebook and downloaded again and again. Still can't open it.Please help.

Hi people in internet land, I have very recently downloaded Digital Edition in order to read a book I am meant to be reviewing. It isn't a program I have used before, but my review provider only uses this format.So I am stuck with it.I downloaded the book and copied it over the program and it sat there looking shiny and new and I was all happy to read it until every time I try to open it the app crashes.My inexperience with the app means that I am unaware whether this is an existing problem or not and I am unable to get through to a real person who works for adobe and so I come to you kind people for help.Help please! many thanks in advance

Hi,After updating to the latest version of the app I cannot read books anymore. I can see the library but when selecting a book the app crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstall but no luck. iOS version is 13.5.1. Any suggestions or help?

ADE opens, but as soon as i click on a book it closes down the app - i tried uninstalling the 4.5.10 and reinstalled 3.0 - reauthorized - still the same issue - i reinstalled 4.5.11 and it actually opens the Getting Started guide, but still closes down when I try opening a book - everything was working fine Wednesday - i've tried installing into a different folder - no luck - any help out there? Thanks

I installed DE on an I Pad for school work. When I tried opening the book,  it goes to the authorization page. When I enter my Adobe ID and password, it states that 1 of them is wrong. I use the same Id to sign into Adobe Acrobat. Can anyone help? 

Hi there, I am having a heck of a time with Adobe Digital Editions. I am trying to authorize my Kobo ereader, but I'm getting an Activation server error, without a code. It also states: Digital editions encountered an error on the activation server. The program isn't letting me erase all authorizations either, which I tried to do in the hopes of essentially resetting the settings. For information, I have two Kobos, and the second was working a few weeks ago when I last used it.

Hello, I need help with activating my account on my android device. I have a book that I can read on my Desktop Digital Editions, but when I try to read it on my phone, the mobile app can't seem to load the book (stuck on the loading page). I logged in my account a few times on the mobile app as I was reinstalling the app to try and load the book again, but now it says "E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS" as I try logging in my account. Also, the app was working previously and it could load another book (from my desktop ADE) that I was reading before.

I'm having trouble to open some books on IPad. The same book opens normally with Adobe Digital Editions for Android. Does anybody face the same problem? Thanks

Hi everyone, I installed DE without an ID (which wasn't a smart move) because now I can only 'read' my ebooks on my Macbook. I deleted the programme and tried to download it again but it remembers that I authorized without an ID. Does anyone know how I can link an ID the programme after I authorized it without one?  Kind regards,  Laura 

J'ai acheté 2 livres et transféré ceux-ci sur ma liseuse Kobo.  J'ai pu en lire un et pour le 2e, je reçois le message "impossible d'ouvrir, ce doc est protégé par DRM" je ne comprends pas et ne sait pas quoi faire pour ouvrir et lire livre que j'ai téléchargé une deuxième fois avec le même résultat. Following problems with ADE last year I reverted to 3.0 which worked ok, a bit flakey but always got there in the end.  I was told a library book was now available and I went to download it on ADE but the green bar freezes and I cannot do anything.  The whole program freezes and the only way to close is through Task Manager.  I have removed ADE 3 completely there is no ref to it on my computer.  Decided to try the latest edition and the same thing happened.  Completely removed that, reinstalled 3.0 deauthorised, re-authorised and the same thing is happening spent 8 hours yesterday and another 4 today and having tried so many options offered on here which have not worked for me, I am hoping someone can give me a fresh approach please.

Bonjour,depuis environs deux semaines, nous ne pouvons plus du tout utiliser Adobe Digital Editions (4.5.11). Nous avons un compte que nous utilisons depuis plusieurs années et qui fonctionnait très bien. Les liseuses sont toutes bien autorisées et le logiciel adobe également avec le même compte. Ensuite, plusieurs cas de figure :- Le téléchargement du livre se déroule bien mais dès que l'on branche la liseuse, le logiciel plante. On ne peut plus cliquer nulle part ni même quitter l'application. On est obligé d'ouvrir le gestionnaire de tâches pour fermer ADE.- Le téléchargement se déroule bien depuis la plateforme CANTOOK que nous utilisons. Mais Adobe digital éditions reste vide de livres.- Le téléchargement se déroule bien et le livre apparaît dans Adobe mais ensuite on ne peut pas ouvrir le livre sur la liseuse. Nous avons fait des tests sur 5 PC différents et deux marques de liseuses. Merci d'avance pour votre aide. Nous sommes une bibliothèque municipale et utiliso

Bonjour, J'essaie en vain se supprimer des éléments de ma bibliothèque. Dans un premier temps ils disparaissent bien, mais ils réapparaissent à la connexion suivante. Il s'agit de livres que je n'ai plus mais dont les vignettes subsistent en grisé.J'utilise la version 4.5.10.186048 d'Adobe Digital Edition et mon système d'exploitation est Windows 10 famille version 1909.J'ai vérifié que l'option de synchronisation dela bibliothèque était décochée. J'ai également tenté de supprimer tous les fichiers de synchronisation avant de supprimer les éléments, mais tout a échoué...Quelqu'un peut-il me dire comment procéder?Merci d'avance.
