I borrowed a book from Overdrive which I can open on my computer, but when I transfer it to my nook and try to open I get the error message that the book has been returned. Loan not on record.I have a MacI have uninstalled ADE multiple times an reinstalled including older versions of ADEWhat should I do?Thanks for the help

If i want to get autorisation for my computer thern i get that my email or password is wrong.

i have ADE with 2 ebooks inside on my laptop. How do i make them audio so can read aloud to me please? i have windows 10

I have an HP laptop with windows operating system.I am just trying to read my first book on the Adobe ePub, which I have never used before . This is to read a book from archive.org. The first problem is that I cannot page down. The slider on the right does work, but I have to switch on and off the window on the left with bookmarks on it. The  page on the screen is grey not white.   I contacted adobe help but they said they no longer support digital editions, whatever that means.By the way I am 75 years old. HELP!

Hello,I try to open E-Books on my E-Book-reader but it didn´t accept my Adobe ID. I confirmed at desktop and also reset the intern storage at the E-Book-Reader.

Hello!I am having trouble resetting the authorisation of my Adobe id on my old Laptop. Whenever i try to delete it, it says that I am Using an incorrect Passwort, although i am sure it is the right one because  i have used my id with the Passwort on my Tolino right before and it worked  there.I hope someone Can help me with this Problem. thank you in advance!

I cannot open books in my Adobe Digital Edition app. I get a message Activation Server error - code E_Adept_Internal. I am connected to the Internet. At least all my hardware at home is able to connect. I am using MacBook Air. 

I have this problem. I'll try rebooting, unistalling and installing, deleting task folder,...anyone know what happens?

I'm not able to access an ebook via Adobe Digital Editions. After the authorization, the error 'E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR' appears. It was working previously on my PC and currently, I'm not able to get any of my eBooks. Each time I try to open the .ascm file I got the same error message. I have Digital Edition 4.5.11 Windows. My ebooks are from macmillaneducationebooks.com. I was trying the same on multiple accounts with the same result. 

I am unable to deauthorise my account from my android device - it keeps stating "unable to erase authorisation. Please try after some time". I have contacted the chat "help" with no assistance. I have also contacted the android support email adeandroid@adobe.com without any assistance. I do not know how to proceed? I have tried deleting and downloading the Adobe Digital Editions app. I have tried to clear data and cache without any success - the app automatically has logged into the account and gives me the same error whenever I try to deauthorise so that I can access a different account. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

first time opening a downloaded library book and I get the following "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book....This book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). You need to re-authorize your eReader with your Adobe ID using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Please visit help.kobo.com for more information" I contacted Adobe Chat and de authorized and then Re authorized my computer.  I then re downloaded the library book.  I can open the complete book in Adobe but when transferred to my e reader I still get the error above...Can you please help me with this

Hallo,ich habe mir einen neuen tolino vision 5 gekauft und dort meine adobe id hinterlegt. Eigentlich wollte ich mir über die onleihe diverse Bücher ausleihen, aber das scheint im Moment nicht zu funktionieren. Daher habe ich eines der bücher auf meinem Laptop ausgeliehen und wollte es anschließend auf den tolino überspielen. Das Überspielen hat auch soweit geklappt, nur wenn ich das Buch auf dem tolino öffnen möchte kommt diese Fehlermeldung:Der durch Adobe DRM geschützte Inhalt konnte nicht geladen weden. Die Adobe ID stimmt nicht mit der im Tolino hinterlegten überein. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Einstellungen Ihres tolino, welche Adobe ID Sie hinterlegt haben.Dies habe ich mehrfach probiert, funktioniert aber trotzdem nicht. Was kann ich tun?

HelloI have installed ADE 4.5 on my Tablet running Android 5.0.  Software installs OK.Authorization with my Adobe ID: OK.Downloading an eBook: OK.When I open the eBook, I got the Error E_ACT_NOT_READY.Canceling the authorization is not working too: Error Message "authorization can not bedeleted Try again later."I have seen, there are more People wich have the same Problem.I also tried to contact the Adobe Support, but there I can't get help for Android Systems (only MAC and Windows). The supporter told me to put my Question again into the Forum. Here it is.I hope that one of the developers of ADE 4.5 can say under what circumstances the error E_ACT_NOT_READY occurs and how to overcome these circumstances.

I'm Dutch and I'm really bad with computers, but I need help. And Customer Care couldn't help me.My Digital Editions doesn't work anymore.When I try to add a book I get the message "Error! Check Activation."Customer Care told me I need to de-authorize and re-authorize, but in the Remove Authorization window it gives only my old e-mailadress as option, which should be changed. If I enter my password it gives the message "Can't remove authorization. Please try again later."What do I do?

Hi,I create a Fixed ePub Book with my students in InDesign.We tested the file on iPhone via Books, works perfectly all pages and cover. Some students have Android phones using Digital Editions - the Fix ePub created in InDesign,reads but the cover image does not show in that reader. Any suggestion?

I am having the same problem as many others: I can download a book from the library, drag it from Downloads to ADE and read it on my computer.  But suddenly (after many years of doing this) after I move the book to my Kobo and try to open and read it there I get the message saying that it is not authorized.  To solve this Kobo Help has advised that I deauthorize both the Kobo and my computer.  When I try to deauthorize the computer a box pops up asking for a "Vendor Login ID" and a Password.  I spent some time in a Chat with someone at ADE but they could not tell me anything about this.  I do not know who or what the Vendor is and do not know what Password is required - nothing I have tried so far works.  Any ideas?

I have just bought a book and its working fine on my computer, but I cannot access it in other devices. I didn't connect my Adobe Account at first and now I can't find where to do so. Btw I have a MacbookAir 2011 (not sure if that makes a difference or not).

I am trying to deauthorize my Android device though ADE but I keep getting an error message telling me to try again later. I've trying trying again for over a week. I am 100% sure that my ID and password are correct because I can authorize and deauthorize on my PC. Thanks for anyone's help.

Is there a way to either:a) link two Adobe IDs together orb) reset the password on an old Adobe ID even though I no longer have access to that email account? I tried Chat and they suggested asking here about the password reset.

I am using Digital Editions for a college textbook. It was working fine earlier today, but just stopped. The icon is still in the taskbar, but when I click on it, the screen does not come up. When I hover over it, a blank white or black preview screen comes up. I have not applied any updates before or after I began having issues.  What could it be?

hey ive been trying to download a ebook and i keep getting this error "error getting license. license server communication problem: E_STREAM_ERROR". does anyone know what i should do ive already uinstalled and reinstalled the application but the error still persist and ive already downloaded a book before. id appeciate any help, thanks.
