Digital Editions

Realicé un préstamo en una biblioteca virtual, la cual me requería que instalase este programa. Desde el ordenador puedo verlo sin ningún problema, pero me gustaría poder visualizarlo en mi tablet. He de decir que mi ordenador es un MacBook y la tablet es Samsung pero me imagino que no debe de ser un dato relevante ya que en los dos dispositivos tengo instalada la aplicación y verificada la cuenta. El problema es que pienso que al estar autorizada la cuenta en los dos dispositivos debería de ver tanto en uno como en otro la misma librería, pero no es así, ese libro no me sale. I recently downloaded Adobe Digital Editions so I could check out ePub books from my library. At that time I authorized my computer and my NOOK. I recently checked out a book from the library and downloaded it to my NOOK. The device says that the book is there but I keep getting "Error Dialog: User not Activated". I also just tried a sample book from the Adobe site and got a similar message. I downloaded a sample book a couple weeks ago when I first downloaded Digital Editions and have had no problems with that book. How do I reactivate my apparently inactive account?

On my old laptop, I had Adobe Digitial Editions v2 (signed in & authorised). I no longer have access to this laptop. I now have a new laptop & have downloaded Adobe Digitial Editions v4.5 (signed in & authorised). However, none of the E-books from my old laptop has been automatically transferred & I can not see my E-books on my online account profile.  How do I access this content please?

My wife have bought an ebook and I set it up on Adobe digital editions a while back. Not she tried to use it again and it just refused to authorize on adobe digital editions. I have changed the password 2-3 times already and I am able to log onto adobe on the website but not authorize it.I have reinstlled 3-4 different versions 3.0, 3.0.1, 4.5.11 and the original (not sure what that was)I have spoken to 3 different people on adobe web assistance to be told that they cannot assist I need to speak to the community.I was referred to links that had me delete registry entries and rename folders to be re-created and still no luck.I have tested her account on my phone and also does not accept the passwordI have tested my account on her laptop and on my phone and my account authenticate without any problems.The current error I am getting is "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected ebook Vendor. Please try again"Any advise will be highly appreciated 

I seem to have 2 accounts on the Adobe Digital Editions app for Mac users (version 4.5): one on roannevanvoorst@gmail.com and one on info@roannevanvoorst.com - Therefore the Ebooks that I purchase arrive in the wrong one (info@...) - and I cannot access them after buying on bol.com/kobo . I have tried to erase my account at roannevanvoorst@gmail.com but that won't do - I get an error message This problem occurs in the Adobe digital app, which I downloaded on a mac laptop. It seems that I did this twice, without knowing. The first time with roannevanvoorst@gmail.com. Now, my new books do not end up there, but I cannot get the app to open the other profile, either

I am trying to fulfill an ASCM file, and get the error "Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." But evident by the fact that I can post this query, I am connected to the Internet.

I want to remove Digital editions because i bought a book but i can read it it give an error : E_ACT_NOT_READY.Someone gave me the advise to remove DE and reinstall it, but i can not remove it because it contains my e-mailadress and i dont know my password. I just changed my email adress and password in my adobe ID but that doesnot work either. ±can somebody help me? 

Im trying to read an ebook I borrowed from the library, sometimes its fine and then after a bit when i try to skip to chapters and scroll to read the whole document goes blank. I've tried deleting and reinstalling.

Hi,Can someone please help me with theese issues. I bought my first e-book and I'm trying to read it on my Mac in Adobe Digital Edition 4.5. First issue is that I cannot adjust thepage size and the pages are way to small for me to be able to read them. The second issue is that I can only turn page by scrolling, but it's not really scrolling, it's just flipping from page to page and really fast even with the slightest touch. The third issue is that no options are available in the scroll down menu! I can't do anything, everything is just marked in grey and not possible to choose.The only thing I was suggested from the Adobe support was to check the mouse settings and to uninstall/reinstall the program. That didn't work.Does anyone know what to do!?

Hallo.Ich bin ein bisschen verzweifelt. Ich möchte die von der Bibliothek heruntergeladenen Bücher per ADE auf meinen Reader übertragen. Soweit ist alles klar, nur friert im letzten Schritt der Bildschirm ein. Ich habe schon alles getestet, was mir so einfällt:- ADE Registrierung und ID - alles klar- Authorisierung auch okay, auch auf dem Ebook-Reader  - Onlinebibliothek Download - alles bestens (also als .acsm-Datei)- Reader per USB am Rechner; wird auch in ADE-Anwendung angezeigt - alles gut- "zur Bibliothek hinzufügen" - mache ich mit der .acsm-Datei - auch okay- aber jetzt: Während des Hinzufügens (geht mal [recht schnell], mal nicht [download nicht möglich. Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz. Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsfehler: E-Stream-Error]) - wird die Schrift hell - und ich kann nichts mehr anklicken, nicht mal die Seite schließen... -> Affengriff Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich??? Vielen Dank.. 

Hello,I got ADE 4.5 and as E-Reader a Trekstore 3.0. This Reader should be Supported bei ADE 4.5.But ADE dont find the Reader. What can I do?ADE is authorized on the PC.

Hallo, heute habe ich ADE installiert und per E-Mail ordnungsgemäß bei Adobe registriert. Leider kann ich den Link zum Öffnen eines E-Books (per URL) nicht öffnen da ich ADE zum Öffnen der ascm-Datei nicht angezeigt bekomme. Habe das mit Firefox und Chrome probiert, beides funktioniert nicht? Wer hat einen Rat dazu?

Have used digital editions for years to download books from the library on my KOBO e-reader. Suddenly, I can no longer open downloaded books in digital editions (either version 10 or 11) on my laptop and when I attatch the e-reader it is no longer recognised but causes the adobe digital editions window to crash and disappear. Yet in the help feature it says my laptop is still authorised with Adobe ID. My e-reader which used to have two authorisations until a few weeks ago, now suddenly features only a very old one with a defunct email adres.SO: I can no longer read books either on the laptop nor on the e-readerWhat can be done? 

Hello,I'm trying to download an ePub book (Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" , which I purchased on Google Play Books, in order to read on my Adobe Digital Editions application on my Windows 10 laptop computer and so that I would be able to side-load it and read it on my dedicated ereader device (Pocketbook). The book can be read online on the play-book store and on the google play-book app on my android phone. However, I have been unable to download it on my computer. When the download starts I get the message that the book cannot be downloaded and that the file type is unknown (Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN:). Hi,When I try to transfer ebooks from ADE to my Nook Ereader I get the message "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy this book" for some books but not all.  Any idea why some books will transfer and others not?  Thanks!

I moved my Digital Editions folder to a new location on my hard drive, and when I went to open the book I have been reading and annotating for the course I teach, none of the annotations were there.  The annotation file is still in the folder, but the link to the book seems to be lost.  When I tried to open the book from URLLINK.acsm, the book was re-downloaded to my Documents folder and a new annotations file created.  Is there any way to re-connect the annotations file to my book?I am using version 1.7.2 with Mac OS 10.6.4.Thanks!

I'am trying to download books from the Library too my Kobo e-reader. I have the lattest version of ADE on the computer, then I have connected the e-reader to the computer and I'am authorising the computer, the program will start and then it stops. I get the notification: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL) and EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFYCan anybody help me with this please?

am trying to download books from my local library I click on open with Adobe digital editions the program opens it says it is fullfilling but there is no book there. I have been using this system for many years but have recently had this problem. I have un authorized and re done so but no differance .

hi, I am currently reading a book on digital editions and scrolling with my trackpad is very slow, using the up and down arrows will only go a page before it stops responding and forcing me to use the trackpad. It is a large book but I want to make the scrolling speed faster. any recommendations? and how do I set it up as one page continuous?also, is there a way to have the file scroll one page at a time? i.e. using the arrow keys to move one page at a time?I am on windows 10 and using everything up to date.

Hello,Im having trouble with ADE for 3 weeks now, im trying to transfer some ebooks from my collection to one of my readers and i get the error "TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS". Ive been contacting your chat support 3 times now and they finally told me to post here because they dont do the support for adobe digital editions (Yay that was about time). I do this for my job so im sorry but my patience is kinda gone right now.3 times the chat support told me that they cant do sh*t because they want me to provide the email the account is associated with, which is the one im using right now, and there's no other email adress involved. It must be this one.I have hundredds of ebooks on my computer and i'd like to be able to transfer them to my readers again. Could you please reset the number of activations on my account ?Ty much

I've been following the answers given to people who have asked about changing their primary email. I hadn't used Digital Editions in long enough that I wasn't quite sure what my password was. The instructions given to bring up the 'deauthorize' on a Mac worked splendidly, but I keep getting an error message that says "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." I'm not sure if that means I'm using an incorrect password, or having some other error? I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, which just brings back the old/original username, and this does seem to be the only option for reading ACSM files on a Macbook.

I installed the ADE app from the App Store and installed it on my iPad. I then tried to download free sample eBooks from the ADE web site, but all that gets downloaded is something called "URLLink.acsm." This is nothing but a 2KB file that is not seen by the ADE app. No matter which smaple eBook I try to download, all I get is the same URLLink file. How can I read eBooks on mu iPad with the ADE app? Thanks. Howard
