Digital Editions

My computer is Windows 11. Adobe does not see my Reader Kobo. Why?

Everytime I close a book, Adobe Digital Editions asks to copy this book to the library. I click no box and it says that it is for this book only. How do I stop it from altogether?

Hello All, Quick Question. I installed Adobe Digital Edition recently. When I try to open a .acsm file though the application, it prompt below error.Appriciate if anyone can provide any insight on this. Thanks.

Folgendes Problem: ich habe in Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 versucht, meine Autorisierung zu löschen. Die ID wird angezeigt, das Kennwort kenne ich. Nach Eingabe des korrekten Kennwortes erscheint jedoch: Benutzerinformationen sind falsch. ??? Was kann ich tun?Hat hier jemand eine Idee?VG GELÖST !!!! dank eines andern Eintrages in der Community: ich zitiere:Digital Edition Schließen.Drück WINDOWS + R."regedit" (ohne die " ") eingeben und enterHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept löschen.Dann neu eingeben unter Hilfe > Computer autorisieren. 

As is obvious, posting in this community is new to me. ADE is hanging every time I launch it, sometimes immediately, other times after a brief time trying to use it.I have reinstalled multiple times, including older versions, and its great that the install works, but the application does not behave any better.I gather that assistance from Adobe is zero for this product, so I do hope that someone here can help me. Presumably there are millions of Windows 11 users who are using this app with no problem, as was I (for many years), but since installing the latest version (4.5.12), no luck. Also presumably, there must be a problem with the environment on my laptop. The only intel I can get from the event log is that the app has frozen. I have no idea what to do next. Help!!

I'm at my whit's end at this point with this [cursing removed] resulting in my not bein able to access content I paid for. I tried resetting my adobe password, but that had zero effect on the issue. Does anyone know of a fix?

Trying to authorize computer / epub files downloaded from Kobo (I got a deal on a large selection of books but use a Kindle, so need to be able to export the epub files with the authorization). I first authorized the computer without using an ID (I thought this would be fine), but saw later that I could only read the files on computer, can't use on another device. I proceeded to erase authorization and authorize computer using Adobe ID. But now when I click on the book, I need to reauthorize exclusively for the book, and after putting my info in again it says something to the effect that the ID isn't associated with the license. I've deleted and redownloaded Adobe Digital Editions and also deleted the Epub files to start again. I connect with my Adobe ID, and now when I click on the URRLLink.acsm file after downloading from Kobo, I get the error message that download is impossible and that the E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_U-SER. Please help!

The problem is not about activation. The problem is that the program will not load.  I have used Digital editions for many many years and never had a problem until I downloaded an updated version. The program installs no problem, but when wanting to open the program it just will not open and it just spins around and around for as long as I let it . It has been spinning for more than five hours at times. There have been a couple of odd occasions when DE has loaded but then freezes with message "not respopnding" I have downloaded eBooks that can only be opened using Digital editions so I am in a situation where I have paid for products I cannot open or read. I also have a problem login into my account to get help.  I get a message saying that my Email is not connected to any account with Adobe but that is wrong. I use other Adobe products and have no problem with them or logging into my account when using them. I am very disappointed and frustrated with this

Hi, I have a problem connecting my Kobo to ADE on my Mac.My Mac recognises the Kobo but, when I open ADE, no devices appears, and I didin't find a way to add it.In this way I can't transfer my ebook from Mac to Kobo.Any help please??Thank you so much

Hello. I bought one book. book name of "Avrupa komşuluk politikası ve avrupalılaşma" Azerbaycan örneği. But when I want to download that book but not open . Only system gave me online read. But I want to download and copy my book. When I want download Adobe digital edition programme gave me this problem: "E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED" . Help me.

He descargado un libro electrónico pero no he podido pasarlo a mi ebook ya que el Adobe Digital Edition me ha mostrado este error E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED El ID de Adobe y de ADE son el mismo. Y la configuracion horaria es la correcta ya que está puesta de forma automática.  ¿Pueden darme alguna solución? Gracias

¿Por qué se pone lento Adobe Digital Edition a medida que voy resaltando? Yo siempre resalto toda una revista que tiene entre 16 y 20 párrafos. Ahora, me imagino que si resalto todo un libro no podré avanzar porque se demorará para pasar  de una página a la otra, ¿cierto?

Je suis gestionnaire d'une bibliothèque Cantook Station à Rennes pour nos publics des médiathèques.Notre bibliothèque de livres numériques est donc raccordée à P.N.B. et donc soumise aux D.R.M. Adobe ou LCP. Jusqu'à l'an dernier, la seule manière de transférer un livre sur une liseuse (comme les Kobo) sans avoir de blocage liés à la DRM Adobe était d'utiliser une version antérieure d'Adobe Digital Editions (la version 3.0), car la version 4.5 d'ADE ne fonctionnait pas et créait un blocage de déverrouillage de la DRM Adobe pour la liseuse. Les livres étaient bloqués. Avec la version 3.0, nous ne rencontrons aucun souci. MAIS, Depuis l'an dernier, Apple ayant renforcé sa sécurité, il n'est plus du tout possible de télécharger et installer ADE sur un ordinateur MAC. Aussi, nos utilisateurs ne peuvent plus transférer de livres numériques de leur MAC vers leur KOBO (ou autre) car le logiciel ADE 4.5 ne le permet pas. Pourriez-vous corriger ce bug dans la versio

OK Lorsque j'encode l'ID ADobe et le Mot de passe passe, j'ai un message d'erreur : Le compte fournisseur spécifié n'est pas associé à l'élément que vous essayez d'ouvrir. Veuillez réessayer. Pourtant, tout semble concorder entre ces données et les données ID mentionnée sur mon compte. Quelqu'un aurait-il rencontrer le même soucis et surtout, aurait une solution ?Merci et bonne journée

Digital Editions started freezing on my Windows 10 computer when adding a library book to the Digital Editions bookshelf or when attempting to transfer an ebook to my Kobo Glo. Yet a couple of days ago I had no issue. I've tried reinstalling the program, removing the book and downloading it again from the library. No success.

Hi, I've got a new kobo clara 2E and want to read ebooks from my library on it, so I need to use digital editions to remove the license. However, mu ereader does not show up at all in the program. I don't even see a 'devices' tab. I've tried deleting and redownloading the progam, and revoking the license.  Does anyone know a solution? Thank you!

Is it possible to export a document from adobe digital editions to my computer to open it in another app or is it protected with a account or licence?

So I bought a new laptop and put ADE on it but none of my books are showing up on it now that it is authorized. How do I fix this so I can deauthorize my old laptop?

I have created an account for Adobe digital editions first in my laptop and then in my smart phone,both with the same email address and the same password.The problem is that although  I can buy and download books through my laptop I cannot do it through my smartphone.Is there any solution to this?
