Digital Editions

hi everyone,i've bought an ebook from an e-library. Of course, to open an .acsm file I've installed Adobe Digital Edition. Initially i've opened the file without creating any adobe account (so i've only authorized my laptop) but then I decided to open an adobe account in order to use Adobe services. When I tried to re-open the file the message "E_LIC_LREADY_FULFILLED..." appears to me. I've search some solution on the net and everyone say the same thing: the file is associated to a specific account. But i've just one adobe account: the one that i've created and the authorization that i gave to my computer BEFORE the creation of my adobe account. So how can i open it ?? i really don't know what to do, such book is very important for my research.THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I cancelled my adobe digital edition account and opened a new one with another email adress because I was unable to download borrowed books from my library.  So thinking I would have more success if I started fresh with a brand new account I cancelled the old one.  But I forgot to de- authorize my computer before cancelling!  So now it keeps asking me for the password to the closed account in order to de-authorize.  Any suggestions besides getting a new computer!

Have a pdf in digital editions that is protected with an adobeID account with an email address i dont have access to anymore. How can I access this document?

beim Download über den Link der Bibliothek hängt sich das Programm jedes mal auf und beendet den Download nicht.auch kann ich die geliehenen Bücher nicht auf meinen ipad übertragen.Woran kann es liegen und was kann ich tun.

Wenn ich einen download link aktiviere erscheint die Meldung "Inhalt wird heruntergeladen" und alles sieht normal aus, es passiert aber nichts. Das Programm ADE hängt, ist eingefroren und kann nicht weiter verwendet werden, ehe ich es zwangsweise schließe. Das gilt für Mac und windows...Weiß jemand einen workaround?

Bertriebssystem Windows 10Adobe Digital Editions Version 4.5.8Habe schon lange Jahre e-books heruntergeladen und per drag and drop in ADE kopiert.Jetzt ist mir schon zum zweiten Mal passiert, dass sich dabei ADE aufhängt. Als einzige Funktion geht noch das Schließen von ADE.Diese Woche habe ich zwei Bücher runtergeladen, beim einen funktionierte es einwandfrei, beim anderen ging es nicht.Ich kann das Buch zwar im download öffnen, aber nicht in meine ADE-Bibliothek ziehen.Habe schon ADE deinstalliert und neu installiert, der Verkäufer hat mir einen neuen download zur Verfügung gestellt, alles ohne Erfolg.

Tenia un ebook (en formato "X. acsm" , es decir un ACSM file) de estudio en que no funcionaba bien. Entonces lo descargue tres veces y no funcionaba, reclamé donde lo compré, y ahora me envian uno que si funciona. Pero claro, tengo 5 ebooks en la biblioteca iguales y no sé cual es el que funciona correctamente. Hay alguna forma de eliminar los libros de la biblioteca en la app??? (Gracias)

Most german ereaders are Adobe Digital Edition-based. Since ADE still doesn't support media queries and other epub3 functions, they won't work on the readers aswell. Which makes the production of an epub a pain. Will the program ever be developed further or is Adobe simply not interested in that market?Are there any specs of the program itself to find, what is supported and what not? Working with trial and error takes a lot of time which I'd rather spent elsewhere.

Hello there, I've read several posts on this matter but still can't solve my problem...ADE on my pc doesn't allow me anymore to download my purchased ebooks from the URLlink.ascm source files.It keeps telling me to "TRY AGAIN LATER", but it doesn't simply work so I'm stuck in a loop. I tried to uninstall and reinstalling it again, but nothing has changed. Can you please help me ? Thanks a lot to everyone ♥

I just purchased a textbook that requires adobe digital editions to access it. At first, there were no problems with adobe digital editions, but after a few days of use, the program is extremely slow to use. I have restarted my Macbook, updated it, and ended the program, but no improvements have been made. Does anyone have any solutions?

After the upgrade to Mac Os Catalina all books and PDF's disappeared.I tried re-installing Adobe Digital Edition.I tried de-authorization and then again authorization.Synchronization is activated.I signed out and in again.I started the Mac again.I asked the helpdesk and we searched for over an hour for a soultion.Then I was advised me to tell about the problem here.I am grateful for help.

I have transferred books from library to my Kobo before but now I keep getting messages about authorising my device. I have done so but still can't transfer the book from ADE to my KOBO. Thanks in advance.

I can't open acsm file from google book, when i try to open using the abode digital it pops up user account control and ask if i want to make changes in my computer and when I click yes, it re-downloads adobe digital again and does not open acsm file. I tried reinstalling ADE and even tried using older versions, but none seems to work. Also when I tried to open the files with ADE "Add to library" feature, downloaded books do not appear.

This download pop up has been present for over a week, although the download is complete. I am unable to cancel to the download, authorize or deauthorize or quit or close the app. I cannot shut down or update my laptop until I can close this app. Please help!  

I have a kobo aura one ereader but it doesn't show up in digital editions. Also on my ereader it says that it is not autorized yet for ADE. How can I do this? If I am in my kobo account on my computer it does recognize the ereader and synchronises. 

I want to know that Adobe's ADE for Epub support Accessible Epub or not. What features it support. What is the difference in Accessible Epub and epub with media overlay.

Hello support, 1. I have never printed my pdf, yet I don't have the"print" option enabled.Why is that? 2. The "item info" says that "0 page with an additional page accrued every 1 day 22 hours, capped at 190 pages...."What does this message mean? Edit  12 Oct 19I discovered that on another machine where I also installed ADE, the print option is available. The problem is that this machine is locked on my corporate network with no printers installed (and it won't be).So the question is now, how to "move" the printability to the machine that has a printer installed?Thanks in advanceGeorge

Hello there all,What I would like to do is transfer a book from my Android device to my PC (Windows 10). As any instructions have said I must plug the mobile into the PC and then open Adobe Digital Editions. This I have done. I then open Adobe Digital Editions on my PC and there is no reference to my Android device even though my PC recognises my Android Device. I then open Adobe Digital Editions on my Android device (Samsung Galaxy S7) and again there is no regognition of my PC on Adobe Digital Editions. All I want to do is transfer a book on Adobe Digital Editions on my Android to Adobe Digital Editions on my PC. Does anybody know how to do it or what I am doing wrong?

Hi all,I've recently discovered that Adobe has released a new update (ADE 4.5.10). I was kinda hoping they would have had fixed the search problem by now but haven't.On an Apple Mac the programme is fairly stable and conducts search criteria really well, once added to the library, however, on a PC I'm still having the same issue of a 'No match' message when I search for anything.This problem has been on-going for over a year now and they have still not addressed the issue but other readers like ARZADI seem to have got this nailed especially on a PC!Why is Adobe so behind with this programme and not doing anything about it?
