I have downloaded Adobe Digital Edition 4.0 and Help->Authorization Information says my computer is Authorized.When when I try to download a book and open it the system gives me this Window:Error! Check Activation.What shall I do in order to make the system running?...Grateful for answers! Thank you!Kjell

Using ADE latest 4.5 ver, Win7.I am currently reading a book that has me looking up a lot of words. At first I was able to copy them but there must be an ADE limit to copying as I cannot copy any more words from this book. I have closed and reopened the app to no avail.I wish Adobe was interested in ADE and would create a more dynamic version one could purchase.

This is the third tempt to fix this issue since last FridayMy account is not authorized / licensed / working or any other terminology you like to use. it is not allowing my purchased book to work. I asked if you can help me match the software with the link of the book. Please don't send me email with links how to fix this issue, it is not working. Hi there, first time using Adobe Digital Editions. loaded latest version 4.5.10. Launch the app and an icon shows on the task bar and task manager but nothing pops up. Running on a blank new laptop with Windows 10. Appreciate any help.

I made this account because the person who was going to register the ACSM to their account could not remember their creditentials. I created a 'trash' account and logged in to Adobe Digital Editions and opened their ACSM book to see if it was working etc.Then they recalled their login info and when I logged out to login to that account, it told me that the book was registered already. Any way for me to revert this and register the book to the other account?

Bonjour,Je rencontre depuis quelques temps un problème lors des transferts d'un livres empruntés vers une liseuse.Le fichier s'ouvre parfaitement sur ADE 4.5.7, mais si je décide de le transférer dans ma liseuse, celui-ci apparaît grisé et l'ouverture déclenche une erreur.en cherchant à comprendre le phénomène, nous avons remarqué un fait étrange.Si je ne me trompe pas, au moment du transfère ADE génère un fichier manifest.xml, listant les métadonnées des ressources empruntées.Si je décide de transférer un seul fichier, le fichier manifest.xml semble de temeps en temps corrompu et génère l'erreur que je vous ai signalé.Si je décide de le transférer le même fichier avec un second fichier, le fichier manifest.xml ne semble plus corrompu et le fichier s'ouvre parfaitement.Avez-vous un problème avec la génération du fichier manifest?Si oui, existe-t-il une mise à jour corrigeant se problème ?Cordialement,Nicolas DESCAMPS[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welc

Hi there,I have downloaded a pdf and opened it previously using an Adobe ID but now after restarting my computer and redownloading the digital editions software, it is saying that the pdf is not associated with any of the emails I am using and associated with a different one. Any way to know what email/ Adobe ID it is associated with?Thank you!

Habe versehentlich das Ebook "erste Schritte mit Adobe Digital Editions" gelöscht und wollte es über den angegebenen Link wieder downloaden, dann kam aber die Meldung "page not found". Ich hätte das Ebook aber sehr gerne wieder. Was soll ich machen?

Hallo zusammenFolgendes Problem tritt bei mir auf:Ich habe Adobe Digital Editions heruntergeladen und PC sowie Kobo Reader aktiviert, leider kann ich das DRM geschützte PDF nicht in den ADE schieben. Das PDF lässt sich weder in den ADE schieben noch auf dem Reader öffnen. Fehlermeldung: "Dokument kann nicht hinzugefügt werden. Diese Version von ADE unterstützt keine kennwortgeschützten PDF Dokumente. Verwenden Sie Adobe Reader, um diese Dokument anzuzeigen."Ich habe mich auch schon an den Support von Kobo gewendet, diese haben mir empfohlen anstatt den ADE Version 4.5 zu benutzen alle Geräte abmelden und den ADE Version 3.0 zu installieren. Leider tritt das Problem immer noch auf und das geschützte E-Book PDF lässt sich nicht in den ADE schieben.Für Lösungsvorschläge bin ich euch sehr dankbar.freundliche GrüsseAdrian

Hi,i am am unable to access an ebook as ADE will not activate and gives the message Activation Server Error. Screen shot below.Settings are correct on my laptop.

I have tried to download the program several times. The program only shows up as a shortcut and I receive the following message when I try to open:"The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. you may not have the appropriate permissions."Please help, thank you.

I borrowed a book from overdrive, then tried to sync it over to my ereader.  Upon clicking I keep on getting this error.1.  "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book [and] is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)". 2.  I tried to deauthorize, authorize, re-import and re-copy the file to my ereader through ADE, the same problem.3.  After trying more then 10 times, now i'm getting 3 copies of the book on my library even after i try to uninstall and install ADE.  I don't see this files on my mobile version of ADE.What is the easiest way to resolve these authorization issues?  It's very frustrating as this application of your's is not so easy to use and when you hit these types of issues, you end up unable to proceed. First off, I have a Mac (OS 10.12.5) and a Nook Glowlight Plus ebook reader, which I'm beginning to understand is a bad, bad combination.When I downloaded Overdrive and then Libby onto my iPhone, my library suggested I sign on to ADE using my Overdrive account because that would make it easier to sync library books across my devices. Made sense, and it seems to work fine on my phone and my computer. But when I just tried to open a library book that I loaded onto my Nook, I had to sign on to ADE again, and then got a message saying, "Error opening book.. This book is not activated for current ADE user(s)." Sure enough, when I went to my Nook settings, I saw my e-mail address and a long, complicated letter-letter-and-number set as my ADE id, but when I went to my setting within ADE on my computer, I saw the same e-mail address, followed this time by "| Overdrive (urn:uuid:A-different-long-and-complicated-letter-and-number-set-than-appears-on-my-Nook) as what I assume is my ADE id, along

I tried to authorize ADE on my newish laptop this morning. It told me that I couldn't authorize ADE because there were too many devices already authorized. I looked at my old laptop, but ADE on that device was done anonymously (or whatever). I need ADE for my NOOK. I can't think of any other device I would have authorized ADE on in the 7 years I've had my NOOK. Is there a way to get a list of the devices? In one place on Adobe's website it says you can authorize two devices and another place said six devices. Either way, as far as I can tell, I have zero devices with ADE registered. Anyone have any guidance on how to figure this out?

My Kobo ereader will only download library books from Overdrive through ADE 3.0. Adobe is automatically downloading the latest version.  I cannot download library books from this version.  How do I stop the updating

Hi I installed Adobe digital edition 4.5 but the software does not seem to open so I can convert and authorise an ebook I purchased?Adobe digital edition appears on my program Apps but nothing happens if I double click on the software Icon.I reinstalled  3 times, restarted my computer - no change.**************Update I reinstalled to a different folder - and the software is now working!

If I download a book from my public library, and it shows up on my bookshelf in Digital Edition, how do I delete it from the bookshelf once I have synced it to my KOBO?   I highlight the book, and hit delete, and the book IS deleted.   However, the next time I go onto Digital Edition, the book shows up again

I purchased Adobe Digital content after having Support assisting me with the update my email address and therefore my Adobe ID. On my windows device logged on with my Adobe ID I have the new purchase but not the previous editions.  On my iOS devices I have all the previous editions but not the new purchase even though I have deauthorized and then authorized both my iOS devices.  What do I need to do to get the editions synchronized?

I have nearly 300 epub and pdf books previously controlled under Adobe Digital Editions (which is still downloaded to my laptop under Windows 10) and running on my Sony E-Reader. I backed up the books to my laptop where they now reside in my Digital Editions directory. My e-reader was stolen from my hotel room in Ethiopia. As Sony no longer support an e-reader I purchased a Kobo Aura One e-reader and using Calibre downloaded all my books to the Kobo. I now find that when accessing the e-pub or pdf files that do not have a Kobo e-pub tag, I encounter DRM. Fair enough. However when processing the authorisation procedure I am advised that my authorisation ID (my email address) that I was told to use by Adobe Customer Care person does not work. The system advises me that the book I am selecting does not relate to my authorisation ID. I have selected numerous books on the Kobo and the same issue is encountered.
