I keep getting the same error message on my Kobo Aura when I try to open a book that I have borrowed and downloaded from my public Library.  The error message is as follows:Oops! This document couldn't be opened. This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign-in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again.Here are the steps that I have taken:1. De-authorized my deivce and computer. 2. Deleted the software (Adobe Digital Editions) from my computer and re-installed.3. Re-authorized my computer and device.4. Factory reset on my Kobo Aura.5. Contacted my support tech group from my Public Library and followed the steps given.6. Contacted Kobo support tech group and followed the steps given.This is my last option.  Any ideas what else I should be trying.HELP!Thanks. !

I have a Sony PRS350 which has been talking to Sony Reader for PC happily for years, i.e. AdobeID is set up and working. I have now had to purchase a new computer and, obviously, want this to support my eReader. However, when I try to authorise my computer with the Adobe ID details I use on the other setup, I get an error which is "Unable to authorise this reader. Contact Sony support" I want to understand why this is happening.Second, I want to know if I can get round it. Because it's a new PC, it's never been linked to the eReader, and the PC does not have an ADobeID. If I create a new AdobeID (does the eReader have to be connected at the time I'm doing this?) will this 'lock' all the books that I've previously put on my reader (obviously using the existing AdobeID).Thirdly,I've got a lot of books I've purchased, as opposed to borrowing from the local library. Am I going to be able to put these in the new Sony Reader for PC app (and read them) or are they permanently tainted with the

In the past 2 weeks, I have not been able to transfer any books to/from my Nook Glowlight 3. As soon as I connect the Nook and click on it, the app shits down. And when trying to transfer a book, it says "transferring" , but never does and the app gets frozen. HELP!! I've contacted B and N as well and nothing is helping. I even uninstalled and re-installed all different versions of ADE and nothing works.

Hello, I installed Adobe Digital 4.5 version yesterday. I authorized my computer with  Adobe ID and downloaded the free book for trial. Everything worked properly. Only after that, I used a token provided by the publisher for my purchased book, downloaded the book and I opened it successfully, everything was activated as expected. However, there was a problem with the text in the book (some formulas were not visible and readable properly). I was suggested to install the old version of Adobe Digital and problem would be solved-the text would appear in a proper way. Thus, I uninstalled the new version of Adobe Digital and installed the old one -Adobe 3 and it required some windows extra features that did not really worked on my computer. As it did not work at this time I tried with Adobe 4,5 again and everything still was fine. I was able to open a book(the text remained unclear in some parts of the book, though). I'm getting the above error message lately when trying to activate DRM on a Tolino e-book reader.Therefore I'd like to request resetting my DRM licenses.

Trying to access a book I downloaded, but keep getting this message every time I try to open the book.

After downloading it three times, your Adobe Digital Editions I had the error message "USER NOT ACTIVATED" on my NOOK eReader which I've been using for more than 5 years to download books from my library and since I downloaded your new ADE app is not performing as expected and is unacceptable that is forcing me to choose a KINDLE instead, and just because Adobe is interfering in my reading process. Can ADE work on a chromebook (Acer R11)?  I can borrow books and read them, bur cannot get them on to ADE.  I ultimately want them on a Nook Color.

My device is not showing up on a ADE page where you can transfer an ebook to your device.I have checked "my computer" and the device is showing correctly.  It just isn't coming upon the page so that I can transfer my book.  Any suggestions?  And yes I have triedreinstalling ADE.

HI,I have a big problem with Adobe Digital Edition for my Read book Kobo.Three years ago, I had download Adobe with my old address ¨Sympatico¨.  Now, my address is with ¨Videotron¨ and I have not had my old password because my old address doen't more exist.So, It's impossible for us to change my ID for the new address with Videotron.Could you help me, please????I am going to go to a long trip and I need my read book.  It doesn't work now for this reason.Thank you very much!!!

My wife bought a Barnes and Noble Nook some years agoAt first new books were purchased through their online  bookshopThen Sainsburys took over the supply of e - books,finally they transferred this to Kobo.We managed to adapt to the change in procedures and to the new software, including Adobe DRMMy wife has a computer using Windows 10. A recent upgrade caused it to crash and required a reinstallation of the Operating System.After this reinstallation  I was unable to locate the Adobe DRM program needed for transferring files to the Nook, so I reinstalled it. It appears that the Adobe ID we created during the original transfer cannot be used again to activate the Adobe DRM so we are unable to download e-books to the Nook.We have purchased several new e-books which need transferring. How do we achieve this? Do we need to create a New Adobe ID? Is there soething on the Computer we should delete so that it asks for the Adobe ID again?

I have multiple books in Digital Editions on my laptop that I want to see on my ipad. I've downloaded the app and authorized both my laptop and app with the same Adobe ID. I've tried this a few times, and looked for solutions in Adobe support. Still not seeing ANY books, expect the Getting Started guide, on my ipad. Is there something else I need to do to synch my library? Robin
