After downloading it three times, your Adobe Digital Editions I had the error message "USER NOT ACTIVATED" on my NOOK eReader which I've been using for more than 5 years to download books from my library and since I downloaded your new ADE app is not performing as expected and is unacceptable that is forcing me to choose a KINDLE instead, and just because Adobe is interfering in my reading process. And when I tried to AUTHORIZE my new computer and new ERROR MESSAGE: “You can only authorize this computer with an ADOBE ID that hasn’t been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. Pease, try again. “Can you resolve it? Please?I’m using a PC with WINDOWS 10

Can ADE work on a chromebook (Acer R11)?  I can borrow books and read them, bur cannot get them on to ADE.  I ultimately want them on a Nook Color.

My device is not showing up on a ADE page where you can transfer an ebook to your device.I have checked "my computer" and the device is showing correctly.  It just isn't coming upon the page so that I can transfer my book.  Any suggestions?  And yes I have triedreinstalling ADE.

J'ouvre Adobe Digital Editions mais apres avoir chargé un livre je ne peux le fermer ,il est  gelé.

HI,I have a big problem with Adobe Digital Edition for my Read book Kobo.Three years ago, I had download Adobe with my old address ¨Sympatico¨.  Now, my address is with ¨Videotron¨ and I have not had my old password because my old address doen't more exist.So, It's impossible for us to change my ID for the new address with Videotron.Could you help me, please????I am going to go to a long trip and I need my read book.  It doesn't work now for this reason.Thank you very much!!!

My wife bought a Barnes and Noble Nook some years agoAt first new books were purchased through their online  bookshopThen Sainsburys took over the supply of e - books,finally they transferred this to Kobo.We managed to adapt to the change in procedures and to the new software, including Adobe DRMMy wife has a computer using Windows 10. A recent upgrade caused it to crash and required a reinstallation of the Operating System.After this reinstallation  I was unable to locate the Adobe DRM program needed for transferring files to the Nook, so I reinstalled it. It appears that the Adobe ID we created during the original transfer cannot be used again to activate the Adobe DRM so we are unable to download e-books to the Nook.We have purchased several new e-books which need transferring. How do we achieve this? Do we need to create a New Adobe ID? Is there soething on the Computer we should delete so that it asks for the Adobe ID again?

I have multiple books in Digital Editions on my laptop that I want to see on my ipad. I've downloaded the app and authorized both my laptop and app with the same Adobe ID. I've tried this a few times, and looked for solutions in Adobe support. Still not seeing ANY books, expect the Getting Started guide, on my ipad. Is there something else I need to do to synch my library? Robin

Hello,I bought 4 books.With 2 books : no problem. I can open and read them.But with the 2 others... I can add them to my library but after I can do nothing.I tried to uninstall and reinstall ADE. I tried to delete my files and import them again. Nothing work.And now, when I installed again ADE, i have my ebook like 7 times here. But just can't read them. And I can't contact the support...What can i do?

Hallo, ich benutze den gratis Adobe Reader, beim Lesen in Aldiko gab es aber immer wieder weiße Seiten und fehlende Textstellen. Ich habe auf den blue fire Reader gewechselt, musste mich mehrmals anmelden mit dem Adobe Account  aber der Reader stürzte immer ab. Seither meldet Adobe nur: zu viele Anmeldungen und ich kann kein e Book mehr lesen!

I have downloaded ADE but cannot find a way to authorise my MacBook air.  Please help.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still can not get ADE 4.5.8 to open. I just sits and looks at me saying loading library. I have tried the previous suggestion of opening as admin but got the same results. I ran the program compatibility troubleshooter and it tells me that this is an incompatible program. 

I accidentally authorized a book with out an ID and now I cannot figure out how to authorize it with an ID. I need to be able to access this book from difference devices for school. Does anyone know how to do this? I looked under "help," but the option to authorize or erase authorization is not available... I am on a mac computer.

I purchased a book from Google Books, and I wanted to read the book when there's no internet connection, so I tried to download the book; that did not work.....then I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition, and when I try to download book off Google (either EPUBS or via PDF), Adobe Digital Editions is unable to import it. I receive a message that says: Unable to download   Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN.  What could be preventing Adobe Digital Edition from being able to open the file? I authorized my device to do so, after all.

i just purchased two books from bol.com and one from kobobooks. When i try to open them in my digital editions library (on my mac) i get this message: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12. i did not have this problem before. what can i do to fix this?

I use Overdrive to borrow books from the library and ADE 3.0, as required by Nook, to side load the borrowed book to my Nook. Yesterday I download a book. In the Download folder, it shows as a .acsm file type. I double click on the download and ADE opens and fulfills the book; I can read the book in ADE. I look in File Explorer in My Digital Editions folder and the file type has been changed to .epub. I can move it to my Nook and I see the title in my Nook folder as an .epub. Of course, I can't open it on my Nook because it needs to be .acsm. I am using Windows 10Things I have done:Uninstall/reinstall ADE 3.0Unauthorized/reauthorize NookRan CCleaner file registry cleanerEnsured that .acsm and .epub file types are associated with ADEAny help is appreciated.

I got the E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY error so I followed thisError "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY" | Digital Editions | Mac OS X Somehow my digital editions key disappeared from my Keychain Access. How do I get it back? I have tried to reinstall adobe editions 4.5 and 4.0 and I have tried to remove the activation.dat file /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions.Anyone know how to get it back?
