Digital Editions

I tried to create an authorization ID for a Digital Editions installation on my iPad for my daughter - the books are hers, and I thought it was a good idea for her to manage her own reading account. However, it turns out she's too young for her own account.This would be fine if I could then change the authorization to be for me instead, but the app totally refuses to ever allow me to re-authorize the account. I've uninstalled and re-installed it several times, restarted the iPad etc etc. Done everything I can to wipe the failed attempt, but trying to authorize some other way simply leads me to an 'Access Denied' page on Adobe's website.There should be some way to reset the app authorization - it's absolutely unacceptable that my daughter is locked out of her DRM books by this awful application.

Hallo! I can't download .acsm file, I see E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR message. I made the autorisation by my computer. Someone help me? Thanks!

I am using ADE 4.5 on Apple MACos High Sierra and IOS and keep getting a double entry for 1 particular book I downloaded today.Every time I remove the book from the library it keeps restoring itself almost instantly.- I deleted the files and then removed the book(s) from my library in the software.- I then cleared the cloudsync map and even removed the entire ADE folder from the computer before rebooting.- I tried every other solution mentioned on Google.Still the book keeps re-downloading itself twice via cloudsync and when I click to open it another copy appears every time.Where can I access the online library that cloudsync syncs with so I may remove the entries there... or do we have any other solutions that are known to work ?

Receiving the error belowunable to download E-Stream-Error adobe

I've wasted an hour of my Sunday scouring the forums for this and am at my wit's end. I'll try to be brief and concise as possible.I bought an eBook from a publisher and the only way to download it is to open an ACSM file with ADE, which I already have installed on my Windows 10 PC.Trying to open the ACSM file results in, "Error! Check Activation." I emailed the vendor about this and they wrote back saying I'd need to erase my existing computer authorization in ADE and re-authorize.I tried de-authorizing my computer but get "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time."I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE (once with CCleaner, twice using the ADE uninstall program in the Program Files directory). Problem not solved.I tried implementing the Windows registry changes recommended here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2100206​. Problem not solved.I'd appreciate hearing any success stories from folks who have successfully troubleshooted this.

i have signed into my adobe digital account and my book shows up in my library but when I click on it to open it, I get an error message states there is an error getting License. License Server communication problem.  W_ADEPT_CORE_WRONG_DEVICE.

Hello,Petr Mandik bought some ebooks.Normally he can read it with Adobe DE but when he laucnhes his new ebooks, Adobe DE frezees automatically.We can to stop it with the task manager, and we re-try, we have the same issue.We uninstall and re-install it but we have the problem again.The version is the last one 4.5.8.Thank you for your helpBest Regards

Guten Tag,Ich habe versucht ein epub eBook über Adobe Digital Editions auf den Tolino vision 4 HD zu kopieren. Die DRM ID ist identisch konfiguriert. Leider bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung: Gerät konnte nicht authorisiert werden. Auch über die Tolino Cloud kann das Buch nicht auf den Reader übertragen bzw. geöffnet werden. Fehlermeldung: Verbindungsfehler: Es ist ein unerwarteter Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte versuchen Sie es (später) noch einmal.Das buch wurde bei Google Books gekauft und dann mit Adobe Digital Editions heruntergeladen. Auf dem PC kann ich das Buch problemlos öffnen.In der Vergangenheit hat dieses vorgehen immer funktioniert.Vielen Dank für die Hilfe

Non riesco ad autorizzare il mio pc su Digital Editions per trasferire ebooks protetti con DRM: seguo la procedura, inserisco ID Adobe e pwd (già ricontrollati) ma segnala un errore (Errore del server di attivazione - codice E_AUTH_NO_READY). Potete darmi una mano? grazie

I was downloading a library book when the program froze.  Now it will not open.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstall but that has not worked.  When I try to open the program it says loading library.. but it is still frozen.Help please

It seems this problem has been there for a while. I have this problem in ADE 2.0 and 3.0. I solve this problem on my computer today.This problem is not a "turnning page" problem but an UI refresh problem, if you turn page, close ADE and reopen it, you will find the page actually turnned,  I guess this problem occurs on a computer which have two display card. On my laptop, a NVIDIA, and an integrated. ADE works fine on NVIDIA and not on the integrated one. So Here is my solution: Tell ADE not running on the integrated display card but on NVIDIA. You can do so by using NVIDIA's control panel program. "manage 3D settings" -> "program setting" tab, add ADE, and tell it running on NVIDIA.

Hello,I have the version 4.5.1.139278 (I suppose this is the last available, I downloaded it yesterday) and it si very very slow to scroll the pages of the magazine that I have purchased. I installed it on my Windows 10, this is my first installation in general.Many times I try to scroll but when it is not so slow it show the message on the title bar that it is blocked.It is resolvable or it is a piece of software that sucks (sorry for this but sincerely it is unusable).--Regards,Marco Mangiante

I have recently been having trouble adding overdrive books to my nook through Adobe Digital Editions. It keeps freezing on me when I try transferring the books.

I use a Tablet that has Windows 10. Sadly, Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 does not have a Windows Store App so installation is pretty haphazard! When I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on my Tablet I was given a number of options on what to use (Microsoft Edge, Word, Notebook). I mistakenly used "Notebook". This means when I open a book on my Tablet it is unreadable. I have uninstalled Adobe, but when I re-install it the programme returns to the original installation and I am back to "Notebook".  How do I change "Notebook"  to "Microsoft Edge"? Ironically Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 works perfectly on my Windows 10 Computer. It is a pity Adobe does not support Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.

I download protected books from Proquest (Ebook Central). There are only two options for download. For Mac (or PC), you download to Adobe Digital Editions. For mobile devices, you download to Bluefire Reader. I'd really like to be able to read my books in more than one place, i.e. both on my mobile device (iPad) and computer. Any chance I can make this happen? (Of course I can download both versions -- one to my computer and one to my iPad, but this doesn't allow me to sync the books, and that's actually what I need to do. It's useless to me to have two copies of a book where I can't sync my highlighting and annotations.) Thanks!
