Digital Editions

When I download my purchased book there appears an error E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN. I am using Aldiko Book Reader

I use my Adobe Digital Editions really often and never had any problem. Today, I tried downloading a book from the same site I always download it (public library) and it says: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12I tried to desinstall and reinstall, but it doesn't work.

I have been trying to download Adobe Digital Editions to no avail onto my Windows laptop. It just keeps saying that there is an unknown error, and that Windows is closing the program. I would love help!! Thank you.

Good morning, this is an issue I've been struggling with for about 3 months now.  I've read through these forums, search on google and tried various other sources of information and have not been able to get this resolved.  Whenever I start ADE, whether I click on the program or try opening a acsm file directly, the program starts and I immediately get the message "Adobe digital editions has stopped working" and of course my only option is to close it.  I've tried various versions of ADE going back to version 2.0 up to the newest.  I've always tried to make sure that when I unistall a version of it that I have removed all traces beforehand before installing a different version and this error message always comes up after installing a version of it.  I do have a Kobo ereader but, it is not hooked up to my computer when I'm doing this, nor is the Kobo desktop software running.  I'm pretty much at the end of the rope with this issue as I have no idea how to r

I have installed the application Adobe Digital Edition correctly, and it is authorized in the two mac that I have. When I connect the ereader (Trekstor) the application closes before I can authorize it, and I can not save the books in the ereader. Other ereader Kindel is not visible in the application. What can I do for reading in a ereader? Thanks so much

I want to delete my account and adobe id.  Driving me insane that NOT ONE PERSON can explain it properly for a mac.  Adobe---PLEASE let me know what I need to go to get rid of my digital reader account.  I have two authorized and I can't get any books.  Terrible that it isn't EASIER for users.

I purchased a book from Island Press and was instructed to open in Adobe Digital Editions.  I downloaded that and have an account. The icon for the book appears but the status for it is the above error message.   Is the 'different user' the vendor I bought the book from??? i .e., do I need to get them to do something or is this related to my Adobe account.   HELP.

Hi,I did a complete clean reinstall of windows, on a computer with previously installed adobe digital editions 4.5 and a library of about 40 books. After reinstalling both windows and adobe digital editions, some books stopped opening, showing an error: "Error getting license. License server communication problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER".I've looked through the help pages, but the only option there really is to choose from, is pressing Help and "Erase authorization". I'm unsure what this does to all the books that do still work, because it would be a pain having to get all of them authorized anew individually.How should I go about this?Best regards

Versuchen Sie es erneut". Was muss ich tun, um die Fehlermeldung zu beheben?

Has anyone any idea how you can get to chat with someone at Adobe to reset your activations? I want to check how many activations I have left and to deactivate an old laptop. When I go to the adobe site I go round in circles and never get into chat to speak to anyone to check for me

I am trying to open an ebook in PDF form and when I click on the download, it comes up saying ERROR GETTING LICENSE. License Server Communication. What does this mean?

I'm unable to read my ebook on adobe digital, in spite of creating an account and password. adobe keeps telling me that the user id and password are not recognised. having spent 3 hours trying to get some sense out of customer support, they fobbed me off on here. they are useless!!

Hello, I noticed these bugs on Illustrator CC 2018:the objects on the stage remain selected, as long as the file is saved; in this way I can reset the selectionI can't take the corners of the objects to convert the corners into rounded corners; the points are too close to the corner and the cursor changes to "scale tool"Please, correct these bugs!

I just downloaded the latest version of Digital Editions and started reading a book. A couple of hours in and suddenly the "copy" text (command+c) stopped working. It is kind of crucial as I use this for notes in a much faster pace than writing it manually. So what do I do to get it to work again?

So I bought a book from Google Play, downloaded ADE and first authorized computer by mistake without Adobe ID. Then I understood I need an adobe ID, so I activated that but now I can't copy the book to Kobo because it is bound to the device instead of the account. What is the solution for this? I am getting annoyed enough at this point to just request a refund. This is crazy.Please help!

I do not have batteries anymore with my laptop.  It shut down suddenly and since I reopened it, Adobe is not working anymore.  I tried to reinstall but it did not work.  I would prefer to have an answer in French.  Thanks!

With Adobe Ditigal Edition for iPad I can read this eBook without problems. If I like to read it with Adobe Digital Edition for Windows, the eBook is not readable, because all is very, very, very, very slow. Until now, I didn't find a way to accelarate this. I've this problem on all windows-notebooks. I Use the latest version of windows 10 pro.So: the very expensive eBook Campbell Biology is completely unuseable with Windows Adobe Digital Edition!This problem is not new - I wonder that it is not possible to solve it in a reasonable time??????? If it works on iPad, it should work on a powerfull windows-notebook too. So Adobe, hurry up - make an effort!Are there any working solution than "please install new" (which doesn't work)?

Der ADE 4.5.7 lässt sich nicht mehr öffnen. Die Ladeanzeige läuft kurz und anschließend passiert nichts. Ich habe das Betriebssystem Windows 10. Seit dem letzten erfolgreichen Öffnen und dem jetztigen Zeitpunkt erfolgte keinerlei Änderung am Betriebssystem o. ä. Ich bin Administrator dieses PCs.
