Digital Editions

When I try to transfer a library book from ADE library to a new Kobo Clara I get the message 'Failed to authorise device'. But when I try to authorise the device, I get the message 'Activation Server Error' 'Digital Editions encoutered an error on the activation server'.  Can you help please.

Hi,is there a hidden error protocoll within Adobe Digital Editions? I installed newest version. I can open the program.And I can import an eBook. But when I try to scroll to the next page, the program closes without error. I checked the ebook in many programms like calibre, sigil etc. no issues are found. Any idea?

Hi,i bought e-books over an official german retailer (Thalia) and they are in an ACSM file format. When i try to add them to ADE (version 4.5) on my macbook this errormessage pops up: Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz. Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsfehler:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12

Hello, I had an Adobe ID under the email [email removed] I must have created this ID a decade ago, and probably longer. At some point Adobe deleted the ID account. I don't know why. What I do know is that I can continue to authorize devices for ADE with that email. But, that's scary - what if I bork up something - I have no Adobe account associated with that email. I have hundreds of DRM books that I bought and authorized with it. I've bought those books over the many years since I created the original ID. If I lose that authorization, for any reason, I have no way to recover it - no account associated with it.   I've more or less been shown the door by telephone support and the completely useless Adobe chat bot. I hope someone here can point me in the direction of a solution. The solution I would like is to have the email used by ADE for authorization be an email associated with an Adobe ID, without killing my access to my already purchased digital items, turning them into dust i

TLDR: Adobe should integrate it into Acrobat because both are PDF viewers or make it scroll smoothly at least in maintaining the app. I would like to make a suggestion rather than a complaint: This software is unusable and terrible!The other day, I downloaded some .ascm files and got the PDFs of books from my library site to borrow and read books. I opened a book that has 900+ pages (PDF, 36MB) and noticed it was deadly slow/wobbly to scroll. Yes, the app had not finished loading the book but your other similar PDF viewer, Acrobat can load faster, and even if the loading is not finished, it can scroll smoothly. Also, I tested 30MB and 50MB PDFs on Acrobat, it worked great, with no raggy scroll and a fast read. Then, why don't you integrate it into Acrobat? You just migrate the PDF downloading functionality based on the .ascm file from Adobe Content Server and make Acrobat render the .epub files. How easy is that for Adobe's development capabilities, but Adobe never fix it because

Hello,I've been reading ARCs quite a while and only with the last two advanced reader copies am I experiencing issues. I download the file and authorise it by Adobe Digital Editions, which is necessary because they are protected files. I then transfer it to my Kobo ereader. But they remain pdf, causing reader issues (very small letters, not able to highlight anything, not able to change font or size etc.How do I fix this issue and get it to transfer to epub as it should ? 🙂I've already tried the following- delete and reinstall ADE- delete and re-authorise my accounts on ADE- delete and redownload the files- update my ereader- log in and out of my ereader- reset ereaderThe issue seems with Adobe, as it's the second one and exactly the same issue again.Help, please? HiIt has been a while since I purchased a book on Google Books but I did today. I appears fine on my Google Play page.My ADE program is up and running and it says I am authorized. I updated it as well.My Kobo ereader is plugged in to the computer and shows on the ADE page. It is also updated. When I try to click on the new book to move it to ADE a little circle with a minus sign appears and nothing happens.I could read the book on my laptop or phone but I do not want to do that.What am I doing wrong or failing to do? 

Hi, I have one e-book which i bought connected to my adobe account. I can find it in adobe digital editions on my iphone and ipad, but I dont find it on my Mac. I have tried to deauthorize and logged in again, also uninstalled ADE and reinstalled it. I have also checked the ADE folder on my Mac, but its nowhere. Appreciate all advices!

I recently purchased the 6 main Dune books from Google Books. Initially, it would not work at all so contacted Google about it. Then, it would say the book i downloaded is Dune Messiah. Unfortunately when using the ACSM files on ADE, it doesn't download Dune Messiah, the second book in the series. Instead, it downloads God Emporer of Dune, the fifth book in the series.  I have already done the processes provided to me by google which was to remove it from my library on ADE and try to redownload. To uninstall ADE, reinstall and then restart my PC and have the same issues. At this point, I'm not sure if the seller on Google Books is the issue or if ADE is the problem. At one point it was downloading Chapterhouse: Dune instead. Thanks for the help. Also I want to note that when contacting tech support they told me ADE is an obsolete product and support is no longer provided, which, seems ridiciulous if it is still actively being used in the digital book industry. Quando provo a modificare l'autorizzazione e associarla ad un ID mi dà un messaggio di errore: "potete autorizzare questo computer solo con un ID Adobe che non sia già stato utilizzato per autorizzare altri computer o dispositivi mobili". Non ho altri dispositivi autorizzati e nella pagina web del mio ID Adobe la pagina relativa ai dispositivi autorizzati è vuota. Adobe Digital Editions è aggiornato all'ultima versione.Cosa posso fare?

When I open a "fixed format" epub on Digital Editions, the proprietary fonts display as nonsense. When I open on my iPad wth the ibook app, it displays perfectly. This means that people without the app (like those who download Kobo epubs for reading on their computers) cannot use my book and I get complaints.   I am attaching a sample page from each to illustrate the problem.   Also, the "search" function on fixed format books still does not work (after 9 years of complaints) on either the ibook or Digital Editions app. (It works fine on Kindle.)

Okay I got this nook glowlight 3 for christmas.  I downloaded overdrive on my computer to check out ebooks from the library.  I downloaded Adobe digital editions 4.5.  I got two books into Adobe digital editions, but could not get the books on my nook.  So the nook support team said that my nook is not compatible with adobe digital editions 4.5 and I need the 3.0 version adobe digital editions.  Now, I cant get the book from the overdrive to adobe digital editions 3.0.  Nook support now says that I have to contact Adobe support because this is now a adobe problem, not a nook problem.  Somebody please help me read books on my nook.    

Hi all,I would appreciate some help in helping this customer. She has multiple purchases from us that are all ePub files, however for one of them only she is experiencing viewing issues and has shown us a picture of the page all jumbled up. She says it happens on all pages in that publication only. She is the only customer with this problem which makes me think she has changed some settings but I can't figure out which ones. She also reports that on her PC there is no 'single page view' option. I don't have a PC but I can find it on my Mac version of ADE. Anyone got any ideas?

How do I set a default size for a dynamic stamp that I have already created? I need it smaller.I have adobe pro xi.]I found the response on line but the person still had issues and were told to email the response person directly.I cannot find any edit capability for the dynamic stamp - it is always huge and since we stamps multiple times, resizing is inefficient.ThanksKH
