Digital Editions

Recently, my Digital Editions stopped working completely, and would no longer open. I tried restarting my laptop, verifying files, all of that, and it still would not open. Upon uninstalling and reinstalling, every time I try and add a book to Digital Editions, I get an "Error! Check Activation" message. My computer and Digital Editions are registered, and I have absolutely no idea how to open books anymore. In desperate need to know how to fix this, as I use Digital Editions a lot for my work, and I am now seriously behind due to the application not working, and now even more behind due to this. I am trying to mirror an epub3 to the computer for QC review ADE display is blacked out no matter what screen mirroring application I try.  Default is AirDroid.  It mirrors all other apps and OS just fine but when I open ADE the frame menu icons display but all content within ADE is blacked out.  Has anyone resolved this issue?  Thanks.

I purchased a book using google play, and when I try to fulfill it using ADE, I get the following error:Error getting License. I have a 120 MB, 1250 page PDF ebook that I borrowed from my university library. I would very much like to look at it, but digital editions keeps freezing. What can I do?

HelloI am trying to authorized my computer to view the textbook I purchased and it has been in the stage of authorizing for about an hour now an I have reset my device and also force quit and tried to re download and I am receiving the same image, attached is the issue that has been displayed on adobe. I am at my house & I turned my firewall off to try and download it. Its still currently downloading and its been over an hour. I also tried to authorize without login and it also did not complete when I left my device plugged in overnight and woke up to an cannot connect to server. I even deleted the program from my computer & re-dowloaded it. 

I have a new laptop and when i open ADE it goes unresponsive as soon as I touch anywhere on the screen.I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail, took it back to the computer shop that set up my new laptop: nothing doing.Has anyone else encountered that problem?

downloaded Adobe DE 4.5, installed on my laptop Win 7, tried to open, a popup window " do you want to allow the program to make changes to your computer, clicked yes, nothing happened, back to desktop screen

I downloaded the newest version of Adobe Digital Editions on my iPhone. After authorizing it and logging in with my adobe id and password, I can see the books that I borrowed from my library. The problem is that I am unable to open them. I get an error when I click on any book to open. "Connection Error Detected. Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." I tried with the iPad and I get the same error. On a windows computer, using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.6, I can open the books and there are no problems. This problem started about a year ago. I searched for a solution everywhere and I am not able to find any. Please help!I am also very curious to know if this is only happening with me, or does the ios app not work with everyone?Thank you

Je n’ai que des problèmes avec ce programme , au debut cela fonctionnaitparfaitement depuis 1 an env .c est impossible et maintenant les livres nes’y affiche plus .Impossible de les télécharger et de les télécharger surtablette Kobo .Je n’ai aucune autre possibilité pour lire les livresempruntes en bibliotheque DRM .C est quand meme incroyable pour une tellecompagnie .Veuillez régler ce problème au plus vite Oriane

Hi,I have Digital Editions on my desktop PC, authorized using the Adobe ID below.On my Macbook's Digital Editions, when I click on authorize and enter my Adobe ID, I get this message:And yet, I am able to authorize my Digital Editions app on my iPad.Why can't I authorize using this same Adobe ID on my Macbook?!!!Thanks,Paul

In the Windows version on my desktop, I am only able to see a portion of the first page of each chapter of the textbook.Whether I page down, spacebar, use arrows at bottom, it moves to the first page of the next chapter. Changing anything that could be changed did not alter this. In my iPad version, I can get to any chapter and scroll about 3 or 4 pages then it either stops or moves to a page far forward or backward (for example, it will jump from p. 27 to p. 52. Starting farther into the book, it will be at p. 166, then go to p. 52....The Help page gave me an error page ... I need to talk to a live person ... this book is part of my work and not accessible in either format.DP

i have been using de for several years, have an older version, have windows xp professional, can't download an ebook (last time 2014 was successful), and installing new version 4.5 hangs.[Moved from the non-technical Lounge Forum to the specific Program forum... I purchased a study guide for a certification exam in November. It's DRM-protected. I downloaded it in the Overdrive app since I already had that for library books. It's in the Overdrive library but the files don't download. I followed the Overdrive instructions to delete cookies, uninstall/reinstall app, etc. Still having the same problem. Since I technically used Overdrive to download the book, I get an error message saying it's already been downloaded when I try to open it in a different app. Is there a workaround to solve this? Hello,I am getting this message `The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you care trying to open. Try again`I downloaded .epud files from my local library and now when I drag and drop them into Adobe Digital Editions I get the above error message.  This however, is very strange as about 2 days ago I was able to transfer a bunch of books to my kobo without any issues.I have read online forms and did what they suggested and the problem is still not fixed:-Reinstalll Adobe -Help -  Deauthorize and then reauthorize-try downloading the books againetc.any advice is greatly appreciated

So I'm trying to autorize both my computer and my iphone so I can have the same book on both device. My computer tells me I can't autorize more than 1 device at the same time, and my Iphone is autorized but not able to download the book since its already used by and unautorize device.... error code is E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER what should I do ?

I've been using ADE for quite some time now but recenty I can't open the program at all. As I click on the icon on my laptop, the main window opens but a few seconds later the program crashes and closes itself. I tried to uninstall it and install earlier versions, but the problem repeats again and again. I'm using the program on Windows Vista and mainly for opening acsm files. I would be grateful for any help, because right now I cannot access any of my books.Greetings,Izabella

Hi, I created a Fixed Layout EPUB document using InDesign CC 2017 (Mac). When I open the EPUB document in both Adobe Digital Editions and iBooks it's great, the fonts works, images all in the correct places etc. When I open the document on my PC in Adobe Digital Editions 4,5,4 for Windows, the images etc are all fine and in the right places, but the fonts default to Arial and Times, the fonts used in the Mac document are Gills Sans and Baskerville (OpenType), why is this, can anybody help?

After transferring an eBook (borrowed from the public library) using Adobe Digital Edition to my Kobo eReader, (from my computer), each time i try to open it I get:"Oops! This document couldn't be opened. This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign in with authorized Adobe ID and try again".I tried with different books, and Adobe verisions: 4.5.5, 4.3,  4.5.6. I erased authorization from both computer (in which the book is downloaded) and the Kobo device, and authorized again. Didn't help.Any suggestions?Thanks for your help,HenryG

Hi, ich möchte ein Buch auf einem neuen Gerät lesen. Anscheinend kann ich jedoch das Gerät nicht zu meiner ADE ID hinzufügen, weil schon sechs Geräte auf sie laufen. Meine Frage: Wie erhöhe ich diese Anzahl? Oder wen muss ich bestechen, damit der das für mich tut?Der Adobe Support ist diesbezüglich wirklich ein Witz.Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe im Voraus!MfG

Hello!I have 3 devices that are authorized to access my library, but they are not synchronising....What can I do?I have tried selecting "synchronise", I have tried to quit ADE and start it again, and I have deactivated and reactivated "automatic download" on all 3 devices.What am I doing wrong?

My Kobo reader will not open library books downloaded to ADE. It says not authorised. It worked fine until I got a new server.

I need to erase the authorization of Digital Editions on my computer, and then I am going to authorize it again.  However, when I attempt to do this, it requests my password first.  Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize my password which, by the way, I just changed through Adobe.Com.  Anyone out there have a suggestion?  Thanks.
