Digital Editions

Hallo,ich habe aber ein Problem. Ich nutze Adobe digital editions ausschließlich auf IPhone und iPad. Ich habe wie immer ein Buch per email gesendet bekommen. Wollte dieses speichern so wie alle anderen auch. Doch dieses Buch kann nicht vollständig geladen werden und seitdem stürzt die App ab und die alten Bücher können nicht mehr geladen werden. Leider finde ich auch nicht den Ordner wo die Dateien hinterlegt sind. Auf dem PC gibt es keinen Ordner wo ich das fehlerhafte Buch rauslöschen könnte. Deinstallation bringt leider nichts, da nach erneuter Installation die Bücher wieder da sind nur kann man sie eben nicht laden. Hat jemand einen Tipp? Adobe selbst bietet dafür keinen Support an. Ich bin echt ratlos.EDIT: ist egal. Ich habe erstmal eine Lösung gefunden und hoffe die hilft dauerhaft. Habe mir den Bluefire Reader geholt. DE keeps crashing when I try to open my new book. I have 4.0.3

I always access my documents as well as media files through Windows Explorer and I like to use thumbnail images as it helps me to organize files visually so that I can see them and locate them quickly.I have noticed that unlike PDF, I cannot create thumbnail images in ADE, which is very annoying. I get these thumbnails of the book covers that I would like to use as the thumbnail image but it seems impossible. I get that ugly orange and black thumbnail image, which makes all my ADE files look identical in Windows Explorer and makes it a chore to locate an ADE file.Is it possible to fix this so that I can use the cover as my thumbnail image, so it can be seen in Windows Explorer? I've seen many complaints online and there still seems to be no fix other than writing code, which I really don't want to do as I am not expert at it.Please please, for those of use who like ebooks and Windows Explorer, please fix this!Thanks

Hello,I have been searching the forums and it seems this question has gone unanswered for years. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it.I have been opening .ascm files to read digital galleys for a few months now on Adobe Digital Editions. I have managed to use both my PC and my iPad to read the same books.  Today I went to open a book before it expires in a couple of days and received the "E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN" error. This error only occurs with books I have not opened before on a particular device. The books I have on my iPad that have been opened can still be opened. The books I have opened on my PC cannot be opened on my iPad.I have tried the following solutions with no success:1. Deauthorizing and reauthorizing the iPad2. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Digital Editions app3. Trying additional apps such as Bluefire4. Restarting the iPad5. Updating the iPad6. Downloading new copies of the books7. Why cant I copy ebooks to an authorised device? The device have not changed?

Hi, I have 3 Kobo Aura One ereaders at home.  When I try to tranfer books via Adobe Ditigal Edition on Windows today, it says I have activation limit exceeded. So I chat to 2 of the Adobe Agents on the support chat, they refered me here.Could the forum team please help reset my activation limit, and advice me on how i can avoid this issue again later?Thanks.Cheers, EJ

Try to Open downloaded book in Bluefire. It asks for ny Adobe id but won't accept my current id. Asks for än earlier one  I can't remember. What to do?

I am trying to download a book from my library to my NOOK. When I go to download the epub book to ADE it tell me "Error! Check Activation". ADE on my computer is activated so what is the problem??

Hello,I've been able to download many books on my kobo but now, when i connect my kobo on the computer and ADE and when i drop a book which is on ADE into my kobo, it says that the book is already on it. When i unplugg my kobo, the book is not on it, eventhough i synchronize it.It's a new computer on which i've dowloaded without problem ADE (all my books are on it). To make sure, i've unauthorized it and authorized it again, but nothing changes !!Any idea ?Thanks in advance.Best regards.Agnès

Hi,I'm using a desktop pc with windows 10. I've downloaded ADE 4.5 to read ebook's from my local library.I've authorised my computer with my vendor ID and password (image 1), but on signing in I receive message "this computerneeds to be authorised with a vendor ID to open, the book I've loaned" (image 2).Click continue, receive message "this computer is not authorised to open, the book I've loaned" (image 3).Click authorise, receive message "the vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again" (image 4).Not sure what I'm doing wrong, any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance,Neil

Da ich von der Hochschule ein Passwort erhalten habe, funktioniert die Anmeldung jetzt nun nicht mehr. Wie kann ich das Adobe Digital Edition wieder anmelden mit dem selben Code? Bitte um Hilfe.Ps. Adobe Digital Editions no reconoce mi dipsositivo de lectura por lo que tengo problemas para pasar libros al mismo.Por otro lado es probable que cambie de dispositivo ya que cada vez le dura menos la batería.No he encontrado en ningún sitio como retirar la autorización del dispositivo para poder autorizar el nuevo.

Hi I've been trying to unregister Adobe digital editions with my old id so I can register it with my current one that is associated with my Nook, however it keeps telling me it's unable to do this at this time and to try again later. I've been trying for 3 days and have in it nstalled and reinstalled twice with no luck. I tried the Adobe support on Twitter, but they just sent me here is anyone able to help?

My university uses Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 as the reader for its e-books.  You have readers for Windows and Macs, but I cannot see any for Android ( in my case 4.2.2)   Do you do one ?   Where can I find it ?  Thanks.

Hello, so I keep getting this one error message that's driving me up a wall.Tried:Deleting Adept Folder in Register.Resetting Adobe Password to get it authorized.Uninstalling/Reinstalling Adobe DigitalI was originally trying to convert the file type using Calibre so I could read the eBook that I purchased and that promised ePub format, but it won't even let me open it up now with Adobe Digital Edition.  Even if I can't get it on the Kindle, I paid money for it and can't return it, I at least one to read this on my computer. X.X
