I am creating an EPUB with InDesgin CS6. The document has both Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) text. In Arabic, although text is RTL, numerals are LTR.In the Arabic section I am using numerals (LTR) within ornate parentheses (RTL). A paragraph style has been applied to the text and a character style to the numerals to ensure correct text direction. A sample is as follows:The Unicode for these ornate parentheses is as follows:FD3F  ORNATE RIGHT PARENTHESIS‎FD3E  ORNATE LEFT PARENTHESISThe parentheses are displayed correctly in InDesign and all the EPUB readers I have tested with, apart from Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.5. For some reason, in ADE the direction of the parentheses is reversed, as follows:Why is ADE the only reader I can find that behaves like this, is it another bug?

Why am I getting the error message: "error! check activate" when I try to open an acsm book using ADE?  I'm using W7.

I have several installation of Digital Editions.1. At my primary residence. (Personal Desktop Device #1)2. At a secondary residence due to travel. (Personal Laptop Device #2)3. My work desktop (Device #3)4. My work laptop (Device #4)I have several books which I have downloaded onto the 4 instances of Adobe Digital Edition. They all work on devices 1,2 and 3.Today I installed ADE on Device 4.Of the 5 books, only two loaded. The other 3 books failed with E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN for one books and E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT for two other books.I tried downloading the books again. Same result.I mapped a drive to device 3 and tried to load the books from there, as they installed perfectly on device #3. Same result.Thus the issue is NOT with the actual ebook files. (*.acsm)I tried the option to de-authorise device #4 and re-authorize it. Still no success.Device #4 was ADE 4.5.x whilst Device #3 is ADE4.0. I removed 4.5 and installed 4.0. Hello,As the title says my Adober digital editions does not allow me to read an ebook that I put on my ereader. This has happened in the past and I forget how to fix it, and to be honest I know a number of people that have this issue. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an ereader because adobe puts up all of these major roadblocks. I've now wasted an hour following all of the steps and nothing works. I borrowed the ebook from the library and downloaded it sucessfully to my computer. I can read it on the compute if I open it in digital editions, but if i move it to my kobo ereader from digital editions it won't let me open it in my kobo because it says the device is not authorized. When I go on digital editions I see that both my computer and my ereader have been authorized with my adobe ID. I have tried reinstalling my kobo ereader and redownloading and changing the time etc but nothing works. This is very frustrating so please tell me how to fix this once and for all. Also it would

Hi Customer Support,I was told to post here to get my Adobe Digital Editions activation limit reset. I was having trouble with my Kobo and wiped it/reinstalled ADE too many times while trying to solve my issue. Please help! I haven't been able to use ADE in weeks. Screenshot of error is included. I try to authorize my device (iPad). But there is a message "Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet", does anyone also has this problem? and how to solve this?I don't think Adobe aware of this problem. The way to contact them is very difficult! They should improve the others channel to report issue.

I recently purchased an ebook with DRM to read it in my Kobo e-reader, so I downloaded ADE 4.5 but it crashed after page 5.  Following instructions on Kobo forums I uninstalled ADE 4.5 and downloaded ADE 3.0.  It keeps crashing after page 5, both on my ereader and also in the computer using ADE 3.0.  So now I cannot read my ebook at all.  Any suggestions? I have purchased a book and tried to open it on ADE. It continually got the error code that it could not open as it did not recognize the registration.  I followed all the advice on these forums and nothing worked (including removing the authorization code and starting over).  Now I am getting another code:I am beyond frustrated.  I tried to redownload the book, but it won't let me.  I am not impressed with this program at all. 

Windows 10, Digital Editions 4.5. When I installed Digital Editions everything worked until I downloaded books from the public library with DRM protection. There is no special error message, but my library ist empty now, even the books I bought don't appear. Several times I deauthorized my notebook and authorized it again, Sometimes it works for a short time, but then the books don't appear again, Maybe I used too much licences because DRM doesn't recognize my deauthorizations. Please increase my licenses. I have both the PC version and the Android version of Digital Editions and I am having issues with each. I was given a free book with a purchase I had made and was given the book via digital editions. I was able to get the book to open on the desktop but that same ASCM file will not upload on the Android. Further more I powered down my computer and closed digital editions and now it won't work at all. The program is running, it is on my task bar, but every time I try and open it to view, the window shoots up from the task bar as if it is opening but it is opening above the viewable desktop. It's as if it is trying to open on a second monitor that I don't have set up.

I have windows 10 and am completely unable to download library content tomy Kobo glo. I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe digital editions. Ihave restarted my computer. I have purchased, downloaded a book & converted the "ascm" file to "epub" & loaded into my Sony PRS-900 ebook. When I try to open the book to read, I get a circle with a diagonal line through it & the message,  "protected page" on the screen. I cannot access the book. Has anyone any ideas about how to fix?
