Digital Editions

I just purchased MS Surface Pro 4 and downloaded ADE onto it.  Connected Kobo to Surface but ADE does not list books that I have on my Kobo library.  Should it not recognized all of the books I have on my Kobo already or will it recognize and store only new books that I add after the initial download of ADE?Thanks, Carmen

Notified by library of a book available from my hold shelf. I followed the correct procedures to checkout and move the book to ADE. Open the book in ADE and can read and page it. Click on the book and drag it to my NOOK reader and receive a message that the book has been returned.If I select a book not on hold and move it via the same procedure, it opens on both ADE and my NOOK.I was able to download books from the HOLD shelf previously and read them on my NOOK.

With text books in particular, usually library books, I'd like to be able to put the underlines, bookmarks and notes to further use. Doesn't seem much point in doing this if one can't!How do you copy these from my Kobo reader, onto, say, my PC or tablet? So I can e-mail extracts, include in essays, etc.I should point out these are mostly borrow library books, not purchased say directly from Kobo. Hence they have been borrowed and downloaded to my PC based ADE3 library, and then downloaded to my Kobo Ereader.

How do I authorize multiple devices on my adobe digital editions account?

Adobe,I have Adobe Digital Editions installed.  However I cannot acces my e-books.I have tried installing and reinstalling ADE.  i have also tried activating and de-activating my account.Please can you advise:1. When I borrow books from my library I am not allowed to download to my e reader.  A message comes up reading "No permission to copy book" to e reader.  I am then directed to Adobe.  How can this be solved?DM

I have a new Adobe ID and installed a new version of ADE. ADE picks up an old emailadress I don't use anymore. I can't autorise my computer and my ereader because this. Who has a solution how to download a clean ADE without connection to an old ID?

Can't download books from library onto my e reader.   Get a message reading "No permission to copy book to e reader" .   "Help" section tells me to authorize my computer.  It sends me to window asking for my log in to Adobe.  This window won't accept my ID or password although it works for my adobe sign in otherwise.  I've given a different email and password also set up with Adobe and still it doesn't work.   Very frustrating!!  What's the problem and how is it fixed??Thank you.DM

Nothing has happened. The Adobe chatline's only solution is to come here to the forum. So, can someone please solve this problem?

I borrowed a book and randomly am not able to access the content.  Nothing has changed with my devices, and I checked that both my computer and ereader are authorized.  What can I do?

So I recently downloaded Digital Editions on this computer to get my books from Google Play back on my laptop. However, I had DE on another laptop previously and I authorized it without an ID and put some of the books on there. Now that I have an ID, I can't get those books on this laptop due to not having an authorized ID on the last one. Is there anything I can do to get my books on this computer?The specific error I get is E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED, I know why I'm getting the error, I just need to know if there's a fix. Thanks!

My nook glowlight plus wont read any more sideloaded epub books.  When it gets to the ADE id and password page it wont accept the password.  error msgs "too many activations for this account".  Cant find a next step.  What to do now?

In November last year the Adobe customer service changed the address and country of my account. Some days ago I installed Adobe Digital Editions on a new device and wanted to access my earlier purchased ebooks, which is not possible any more. I tried an Android device, both with Aldiko and ADE. After entering the credentials in Aldiko, it says "device authorized" but does not display the ebook. ADE does not download/display any ebooks.I tried a new computer (which never had ADE installed). ADE does not authorize the ebook with the error message: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open." I'm not sure how many people have this problem, but I figured I might be able to get some feedback, or just offer some advice on a recent problem that is really beginning to irritate me. Before I begin, I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions as of the date this was posted.I don't really have a strong opinion on how much we're allowed to zoom into a page when using the program; as long as I can see the letters from a reasonable distance and I don't have to hook my laptop up to my TV in order to be able to properly read what's in a document, I'm generally happy with what I get. There is just one tiny problem with not being able to fluidly manipulate a screen with the mouse or quickly zoom in or out of a screen with a few taps of the keyboard...proper arrow key/page key controls. I'm trying to use Adobe Digital Edition and Bluefire Reader but an error message keeps appearing: "This application is authorised with the following user accounts:Adobe ID account #1Adobe ID account #2Adobe ID account #3This item was originally downloaded with a different user account or Adobe ID. To continue, please add that account."I've tried to deauthorise and reauthorize the accounts, and only using one at the time but it keeps popping up. These three email addresses are all I've ever had so I have no idea what the error is. Help, please!

Hi,I am looking for MSI version of Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 (or latest). I know .exe has silent switches for deployment via app deployment software. However, we need MSI only as that's our MDM deployment requirement from Intune. Fyi, we do not have a re-packager tool to capture it in MSI.It will be greatly appreciated if anyone could point me in right direction.Thanks,

Fellow Editors,Need a way to streamline our keying workflow.Currently rending/exporting clips with alpha channels in Premiere and After Effects takes too long. We need to be able to render/export in the background (through Media Encoder) so we can keep editing and hit our deadline each day; however, we can't seem to find an export setting that allows the clips to be rendered in Media Encoder with an alpha channel.Any suggestions?Working in Mac OS.Thanks,Logan

Dann alle Dateien im epub-Format importiert, noch immer alles ok.Dann die acsm-Dateien importiert - Programm ist abegstürzt.Seit dem habe ich das Programm nicht mehr zum Laufen bekommen, trotzt mehrfacher Deinstallation/Neuinstallation.Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich vorgehen kann, ggf. muss icheine Libary noch löschen oder...?Danke im Voraus!UB
