Digital Editions

So I have ADE on my iPad and I have been reading my ebooks but recently i try to open a ebook on my adobe digital editions and when I try to open up a ebook it says item not downloaded something like that basically it can't open up so what do I do ? 

If I borrow an ebook-from the library and click on the download, ADE should open and the book shoule be downloaded to ADE and be visible on the shelf.Instead, if I click on the downloaded file (extension looks same as on laptop it works with) it is going to install Adobe Digital editions again. And the book is nowhere to be found.We tried deleting the ADE-program (a couple of times) completely, download it again and install it again.We authorised a couple of times again.We set the standard program for the file to ADE.We tried different books.What did we miss?

J'ai fait un près de livre à la bibliothèque et je désire le lire sur ma kobo.Digital edition me demande de connecter mon ordinateur pour y lire des documents emprunter sur ma liseuse.Dans la section aide de digital édition je sélectionne : Autoriser l'ordinateurUn onglet m'informe que mon ordinateur bénéficie d'une autorisation sans ID.Je désire remédier à la situation donc j'opte pour l'option : continuerAprès avoir bien inscrit mon nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe; et appuyé sur : Autoriseron m'informe :  Vous pouvez accorder une autorisation à cet ordinateur à condition de ne pas utiliser un ID Adobe déjà alloué à un autre ordinateur ou périphérique mobile.Voilà !Merci !

Whenever I try to open the program, I get the message "Cannot find Digital Editions Folder". The program appears to be open to me, however it is completely unusable. My e-books appear as blank gray books, and I can't open them or read them. I've un-installed and installed the program 3 times. Someone please help! I want to read my books.

Hi I'm just trying to read an ebook from my library, I'm not tech savvy or real good at finniky tech stuff.Apparently I have an old acocunt with Dymocks, which I don't know the log in or password for, and I can't deauthorise that one, to log in with my library account and read the ebooks.Adobe chat said they don't support this app thingo, and sent me here.Please help. 

Hi, I am unable to open a copyrighted e-book with adobe digital edition with the following error message Unable to downloadError getting license. Licenser server communication proalem. E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT There are certain website on internet blocked by my company internet. Do I need to request for access to certain website to get the license? Please assist. Thank you. 

I have version 4.5 and 3.0 but 4.5 quit working and 3.0 won't let me open my books.  I tried to uninstall and re-install 4.5 and it worked for awhile then it quit again so I uninstalled and re-installed again and now it won't open.  What do I need to do so that it works on my laptop.  The desktop version works.

I no longer have access to the PC I orignally registered my ADE on. I didn't realize I needed to log out before getting rid of it. Now when i try to enable my new computer it says: You can only authroize this computer with an adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authroize any other computer or mobile device. Please try again. Now i cannot de authroize using the menus in the program itself is there another way to do it.

I am trying to authorize my TAGUS device but I get the following error message:Any solution please? Thanks in advance

How to get downloaded pub.library .ascm epub bks. from downloads folder into Digital Editions?  My computer is authorized and I have successfully downloaded the books from the public library, Just can't get the books into Adobe Digital Editions to read them!

Good day, I have an issue using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.85 on a 2021 16" Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.1.2. I have ADE authorized, and I can successfully add to the library the .acsm file for my epub purchase from the University of Toronto Press. However, every time I close and reopen the program, the purchased epub disappears. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks,Michael 

On my pc I have highlighted some text. When I look at the document on my tablet or on my phone though, the highlighting is not there. How can I transfer the highlighting, such that I don't have to highlight all several times?

I just downloaded two books from Google Play Books.  I cannot transfer them to my Nook.When I try to open the ASCM file in Adobe Digital Editions, it says:Unable to downloadError getting License. I know this is a losing battle, that Adobe has no intention of working with Linux users BUT I am trying my best to buy and read books legally. I'm hoping that someone out there has found a way of doing it and can help me out. I've been buying and reading epub books on an android tablet, but it's not the most comfortable form of reading and I've recently been given an ereader to which I would like to add the books I have already bought and paid for. I've installed ADE via Wine but it's incapable of opening my acsm files. Once or twice (in several dozen attempts) it has succeeded in downloading an epub in which any non standard characters are replaced by question marks. Closing ADE loses the file, it's not there when the program is reopened.  Is there any legal way to obtain ebooks for Linux users or is Adobe encouraging us to be pirates? Hi, I'm still struggling with the E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY. I've followed various suggestions to deauthorize my ADE, and when i try it looks as though it is going to work and then I get this message:Unable to erase authorisation. Please try again after some time.My downloads are working fine on my ipad; it's just the PC which is unhappy but that means I can't move ebooks to my KOBO. Bringt mir ja auch nix weil ein Adobe-Mitarbeiter es resetten muss. Lange Geschichte kurzgefasst: Tolino musste mehrmals zurückgesetzt werden, jetzt zu viele Aktivierungen von 6 devices und ich kann mich nicht mehr anmelden und DRM Bücher (also fast alle die ich besitze) lesen.Ich brauche doch einfach nur einen Adobe Mitarbeiter der die angemeldeten Geräte resetted.

Unter meiner Email-Adresse sind 6 Reader angemeldet. 2 sind defekt und sollen ausgewechselt werden. Geht nicht, weil bei der Neuanmeldung der Hinweis erscheint: E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS.Was kenn ich tun, um die Aktivierungen zurückzusetzen?
