need help in deauthorizing my adobe digital editions account
Hello,I recently ordered couple of ebooks from a company that delivered them as downloadable acsm-files. I read all instructions on how to set up Digital edition and my adobe account to be able to read it on multiple devices, but I can't access the books on my mobile phone.I have a Galaxy A5, Android 6.0.1. Although the books are available in Digital Edition on my Macbook, they don't appear on the mobile app, neither when I just download the app and login/authorize nor when I actually download the acsm file directly to my phone and try to open it in DE. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.Would you please help me out here? Thanks,Mikael
I've researched, unauthorized, reauthorized, deleted the ADE file on the e-reader, deleted and reinstalled ADE, you name it.I've tried both an older version of ADE and the newest on one win 10 laptop and still get a "user not activated" error on every epub book from the library. They load to my Nook but the error comes up upon trying to open the book(s). I thought the newest version of ADE/win10 combination might be the problem so I even tried an older version (4.0) and no luck. However, if I use a different laptop with win 10 and ADE 4.0 the books are able to be opened on the nook with no issues. The same combination on the laptop I'm trying to fix results in the error. Is this a issue of conflict with the authorization ID's perhaps? How do I correct it if that's the issue? Any ideas or input would be appreciated.
I have dowloaded Adobe Dig edition and tried to open two books from acm into epub, yet they cannot be open on my Sony readeras they are protected by DRM.I try to authorize my Adobe ID and always get the above mentioned error message. What shall I do?ThanksF
Hi, I imported successfully 4 acsm files in ADE and I am able to read them. The 5th file, I cannot import, the error received is: Please help me to slve this error.Alina
i have changed my computer and ADE will not authorise it
Something went wrong when uploadikng an ebook. Now I cannot delete a number of ebooks. Reinstalling digital editions does not help. Is this a problem of my adobe ID? Is there anyway to get rid off these books?
When I try to authorize my computer in Digital Editions, I get this message in red print; "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. Please try again." Digital Editions says I can authorize three computers. This one was authorized before with a diferent hard drive that died. I have not authorized any other.
Does this ebook offer a way to read the text if someone has a visual impairment?
how do I reset activation for my account..
Not sure how to explain this problem....I have MAC and am trying to get EPUB books from the public library. is now saying I need a vendorID to authorize it for both devices. Of course OverDrive (my library's software of choice) says that OverDrive is a drop-down option for Ebook Vendor and I can sign in with my OverDrive ID. My computer is keeping me locked on signing in with my Adobe ID. However, if I do that I cannot figure out how to connect to my Nook 1. Both overdrive and nooks forums have been useless on the topic and of course customer service on both sites is nonexistent. Wondering if I should just try to reboot up an old Windows machine that at least ran the dang thing. Any advice on how to get these softwares to work together???
ADE isn't showing my iPad on the app on my Mac.
I guess I will try posting here as a last possible thing to do, yet I have a big feeling support will not answer this question anyways. (I have been run around for days by support at this point, Nor they are telling me to post here...LOL..if support can answer this, You're amazing!)Here is the issue:I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab E, downloaded Adobe Digital Editions (says on the website that is tab is supported) authorized it with my correct login id and nothing is there! I have ONE book that I have purchased and it's not on my tablet. So, I went to the link for the e-book and downloaded it. It did ask what program I would like it to open the book, I chose ADE and it closed the pop-up and opened ADE like it was opening the book but It opened up to a blank library. I looked in ADE on my laptop and it is showing two of the books, it shows my first original download AND the one from today! So ADE knows I downloaded it to my tablet since it was on my laptop. I have tried everything as support
I have a ebook that I purchased that had 60 day expirarion. My machine had issues so I was not able to use it. When I logged in today it shows expired. Is there anyway the access can be extended for 1 more week.
Merci
Can anyone help with this error message. I cannot download ebooks from library anymore.eror getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12
In the past there was a service that a user with E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS problem can use a support chat requesting the reset of the device allocation.I tried it today but for the tools Adobe Digital Additions the only support offered by the support web sites is this forum. No chat with a support operator, who can reset the activitions, is offered by the web site.I think I will stop reading ebook using Adobe IDs and return to printed books or to other ID supports.
Hi!I can´t read my e-book on my Mac. I have downloaded the app (ADE), but nothing happens. I did the same thing on my iPhone and from there I can view my ebook. However, I would like to read it from my Mac as well. When viewing the app it says that is compatible on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Computers. But reading the app further it they only give me the opportunity to download to iPhone or iPad.There must be a way for me to read the content (ebook) on my Mac?Anyone know what I can do?Thanks for the help.
An unauthorized update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 kicked out my Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software. When I installed an updated version of ADE I kept getting the message that I can only authorize my computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. But I was trying on the same computer as originally. During a discussion with KOBO customer service, I was told to contact Adobe and get them to remove my previous version of Windows (7) from ADE so that I can then attach my Windows 10 to ADE (all on the same computer and account id). Adobe customer service put me onto a "Chat: with a technician who replied saying I had to go to this form. Can anyone help me, please? I would like to be able to move my downloaded library books to my Kobo so I can read it anywhere than only at my computer desk.Thank you for any help.heathers14176748
Hello, I recently purchased a book and this was my first time using adobe digital editions (i thought I was getting a pdf book, but nope...). Anyways, trying to view it asap, I just authorized my computer real quick so I could get through the process. Now however, I realized that I cant view the book on other devices, so I want to associate the book with my adobe ID (which I just created). Can anyone help me figure out how to do this? I have been trying but I dont see how it is done. Thanks
I have loaned books from Overdrive using ADE before without problem. This latest book was loaned using an .ascm file as normal. The .ascm file launched ADE and ADE downloads the epub and puts it in the right folder. It appears in the bookshelf, and if I view the file in Explorer, there it is.But when I try to read the epub it always gives the below error.I have redownloaded the ascm, I have redownloaded the ebpub, and I have reinstalled ADE 4.5.4What else can I do?
Error message when activating
When I try to open a downloaded ebook to read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 2 I get an error msg:ERROR: License Server Communication Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR. I've tried everything I know of to fixthis. Nothing works. My next option is to restore my pc to a factory reset and just start all over. HELP!P.S. I've uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled it. I've de-authorized it and re-authorized it. I've run a malware program,a program to clean up all the junk and of course, my anti-virus program.
[ Desktop running Windows 7 ]I click to open the ADE 4.5 and I get as far as the small splash logo screen flashing "loading library..."...AND NOTHING MORE. However before this started happening, the epub(ACSM) books I would download from the library suddenly started not opening.I've done the un-install/re-install, and the registry edit (which provided a temporary fix), and did the updates of ADE. I've got the latest versionof ADE and still it will not open...So any help in regards to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks All
