I am having the problem where every time I try to open a book or transfer a borrowed library book to my Kobo, Digital Editions 4.5.4 looks like it's about to begin and the copy window pops up, but nothing happens because it is always "Not Responding", making me to force close it every time. uninstalling and re-installing (more than once) has done nothing; same problem. What is this garbage!? It was working fine a couple weeks ago.I am running Windows 10 Home and my computer is more than capable of running this program.- Frustrated Customer

I am trying to reinstall adobe digital editions in order to correctly authorize my Kobo. I forgot to have my kobo plugged into my computer (Windows) when I originally installed Adobe digital editions, so now I can download books from the library and download them to the kobo, but once the kobo tries to open the book an error comes up saying we are not authorized.I have tried to unauthorized and reauthorize he kobo and my computer. But that hasn't worked.Any suggestions how to do this?( I tried downloading an older version on Adobe digital additions, but it won't recognize the kobo)

I just bought 2 new books from Kobo books. I loaded them on Adobe Digital Editions and transferred them onto my Kobo.However on my kobo, I cannot open the books its says that I am not authorized to view them. But both my Kobo and computer say they are authorized under the exact same email address (the same it has always been authorized under) and I tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing both, unplugging and replugging my kobo, to no avail. Someone please help as I refuse to waste the $30 I spent buying these books.

Hi,I recently made a simple ePub test and on my Mac, iPad, iPhone and Windows it works fine. However Android has some bugs.Android:Object state images are not shown complete, it loads half of the images in the object stateWhen using buttons, when tapping the buttons, the buttons work but also the library and scroller popup on the screen. This should normally happen when tapping on plain content not on a button. On the iPad this works goodWhen I do a page jump and than swipe to the next. The next page appears to be the same page as I was on, when I than swipe again, the next (correct) page appears.Windows:One issue came up when viewing in the windows Digital Editions App. The font's where not correct, it shows a different font. Hi, I want to download e-books from Netgalley to my Kobo Touch e-reader. This wasn't a problem before. Now, when I put the file on my e-reader and open it, it says that the file is DRM secured. I've followed every step on the Netgalley and Kobo Help site. I've authorized my computer with my adobe digital ID, I've authorized my e-reader as well. When I download the file, open it with adobe digital (newest version) and drag the file to my e-reader, I get that message when I open the file on my e-reader. I had this earlier in October and tried everything but nothing worked. I thought it was the file. Now, I have the same problem again. I've checked with the publisher and according to them the file is correct. I hope someone can help me.

First, let me state that I contacted Adobe customer support about this which was a complete waste of time. They sent me in circles, literally, by sending me back to the first customer service agent who sent me off to someone else in the first place. They sent me to the forums pages, which I had already tried multiple times before contacting customer service. When I pointed this out to them, they just shuffled me off to someone else who they claimed would be able to help me. That being said, apparently there are a lot of unresolved issues on the Adobe forum pages. It is a wonder why people keep using their products.My particular problem is that when I try to erase my previous Adobe ID from Adobe Digital Editions, it won't erase. My ebooks were purchased under a different Adobe ID (which I was not aware of at the time, or else I would have made sure these things aligned), so my ebooks won't open on my ADE. Hello,I have downloaded Adobe,opened a document, but it's not logged in, so when I click Help, 'Authorize Computer' is in grey, (unabled) so I can't authorize the computer or log on my adobe account. I can't now open the same document anywhere else, so I need to link it to my adobe account to be able to open the docuemnt from my other devices. I have closed ADE and then it didn't appear on my computer, so I had to 'download' again and the same document automatically appeared there.How can I authorize the computer with my ID and be able to open the document from other devices, as it's only authorized for one profile.Regards,C

I have problems with my eyes when i read the Ebooks on my computer.The background is very white  and the contrast with the black text is too large.Would be good if there where an oppurtunity to tone down the background.

I have tried every "fix" listed on the internet and cannot open books on my Nook Color.  I even took it back to the store and they said the problem was with Adobe Digital Reader, not the nook.  Any suggestions?

In trying to resolve this problem I recently uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 and installed Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 due to advice from KOBO.  In spite of this new installation I cannot download books using Overdrive from the public library to my Adobe Digital Editions on my desktop computer.  It has worked for years but suddenly stopped working.  The problem seems to be the acsm entry was not updated by the installation.

ADE installed on both Windows 10 computer and Tablet (Android Samsung Galaxy Tab A), both authorized with the same account, using the Overdrive app on the Tablet.  No problem with books from our local Public Library, I can borrow and download on either the computer or the tablet and transfer from either to either and read on the computer in either ADE or a browser and read on the Tablet in either the Overdrive app or a browser.PROBLEM:I purchased an ePub book from Google Play and can see and read it on the computer in either ADE or my Google Play Library but I cannot transfer it to the Tablet.ADE on the computer cannot see the Tablet.  The Overdrive app on the Tablet only recognizes Public Library branches, not the Google Play Library.
