Digital Editions

ADE installed on both Windows 10 computer and Tablet (Android Samsung Galaxy Tab A), both authorized with the same account, using the Overdrive app on the Tablet.  No problem with books from our local Public Library, I can borrow and download on either the computer or the tablet and transfer from either to either and read on the computer in either ADE or a browser and read on the Tablet in either the Overdrive app or a browser.PROBLEM:I purchased an ePub book from Google Play and can see and read it on the computer in either ADE or my Google Play Library but I cannot transfer it to the Tablet.ADE on the computer cannot see the Tablet.  The Overdrive app on the Tablet only recognizes Public Library branches, not the Google Play Library.

I'm trying to download PDF ebooks to Adobe Digital Editions and keep getting this error message - Error Getting License.  License Server Communication Problem.   E_LIC__Already Fullfilled_By_Another_User.  How do I solve this error?Thank you.

In ADE books that are on my tablet are not available on my laptop and vice versa.  How do I resolve this issue?

Hi, I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and need to authorise it on my computer, but it is not a highlighted option on the help menu, can someone please give some guidance on this? I have tried the 24/7 chat support but get no response.

After re-installing ADE and resetting ereader and re-booting computer I cannot get a copy of the book to the ereader. It worked last week and i finished a book and returned it to the library. I can get the ebook from the library to the ADE, i can see the book on ADE and move it to the KODO device icon on the left side of page, my ereader is connected and finding the computer prior to this (connected prior to going to library). Then the copy to the ereader cannot be done from ADE. the ereader indicates it is authorized as a device when i check it on ADE.what else can I do?[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... I checked out an ebook from my library using freading.  When downloading it ADE gives me the error message:  check activation adn doesn't download the ebook.  How do I check activation?

My laptop (MAC) is up to date....I have authorized my computer, ADE and my Kobo Aura and I get the error message:Unable to Download.Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERI get the error messages when I go to put the books I've downloaded from my local library via OverDrive (which is up to date) onto my Kobo Aura.  I started over by unauthorizing my devices, starting from the beginning again and I get the same error message.  I contacted Adobe Customer Care/Support and was told by Technical Support that my device was authorized.  I'm not sure if the issue is my Adobe ID or something else...how do I figure this out?  All I want to do is download books from my local public library onto my Kobo Aura.

my library ebook download to axis360 and also installs on adobe digital on my windows 10 computer.but the library book only goes to axis360 and does not show on my tablet's adobe digital

I have Windows Vista and a older kobo touch e-reader and had successfully used ADE version 1.7.2.1131 for the past 5 years until November, 2016. without any problem. Suddenly, when I try to download a library book, this error message, " IO Error on Network Request. Please check your network connection and try again." Each time I tried to download a book, it looked like it was downloading, then the error message came up. I finally took my laptop and kobo to the library to see if they could fix the problem. They did say that they had received a number of issues with Kobo. After trying to fix the problem, The IT person finally said that it looks like ADE doesn't support it anymore and all is outdated. So, my question is there anything else I can do to get my kobo and library working?  Thanks for any help.Liz

ADE went blank.  I removed the program twice, and downloaded the latest version twice.When I download a book, the program remains blank.  It is correctly authorized.The headers are File, Edit, Reading, and Help are at the page top, but the book does not apperar.   The very top header, Adobe Digital Editions is gray and not black.

Message is document protected by Adobe DRM and is not currently authorised for use

I have an iMac, just fitted with new hard drive. I have installed Adobe Digital Editons. I have an Adobe ID. I cannot authorise my computer. Just get error message incorrect log in or ID for selected ebook vendor. The vendor is shown as Adobe ID  Kobo is not on the list. What am I doing wrong? Spent 3 hours last night waiting for Chat who could only tell me my account was activated!

When I try to process a .acsm file that I borrowed from my library, I get the error message "Unable to download, Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY". Uninstalling & reinstalling ADE and all its files did not help. I tried to deauthorize my account, but I keep getting the error message "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try after some time." Is there any workaround for either of these problems (downloading from a .acsm file or deauthorization)?

I had a problem with a download from my library to my Sony E reader. Went to library and tole to uninstall and reinstall programme. I get a message- Activation Server Error Code E_AUTH_NOT_READY, Tried live chat and sent here. Don't know why. Can someone pleases Help?Thanks in anticipation.

we recently set up Adobe Digital Editions on a new computer and purchased an ebook through numico.  When the book was downloaded into ADE we tried to open the book using my Adobe ID and received the following message:  The Vendor Account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to openCan anyone help us through this ?

After countless hours spent on this forum, using any and all advice I came across, I still cannot read my library books on my kobo. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing adobe digital editions 4.5, ,de-authorizing and installing ADE 3.0, using an Adobe ID and an Overdrive ID, resetting and factory resetting my kobo. I'm at a loss. From what I can see this has been an issue with Adobe for several years. My library books loaded fine the first couple of times and all of the sudden stopped authorizing correctly. The first time this happened, I factory reset my kobo and the book loaded. Since then, no books have loaded.Please help. All I want to do is read the books that I have legally borrowed from the library.

I have been using a book on my Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 since the end of Oct 2016 and now it will not open. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and using the run as administrator having read things online but nothing is working. I have also checked through my anti-virus software and that has not detected any issues. I downloaded the 3 edition but my book wont open on that.Any assistance gratefully received.

On trying to bring a book into the library I get an error message "unable to download.  Error getting licence"I have recently changed my number at my local library (having lost a previous library card).  Could this be the problem and how do I resolve it?

ADE starts but the main window doe not appear. I can see ADE in the taskbar and when I hover over it, see a thumbnail of the missing window. I eventually got so frustrated that I uninstalled ADE and reinstalled, same problem.What's going on?

It is noted that the Adobe Digital Edition can be activated upto 6 computers.  How can I do it?
