Someone please help me. I would like a reset for my ADE ID

Hi,I have a lot of ebooks on ADE and they're very important and expensive! (need them for my Actuarial exams)If my laptop breaks - I'll lose them and be in a very difficult position.Is it possible to back up the ebooks so in the event that my laptop did break - I could get the books back?Thanks

Hi,II have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried to activate and I still keep getting "Error! Check Activation!". When I try to activate it tells me there is a server issue. What can I try next?Preferably I don't want to use Adobe Digital Editions since it doesn't work properly and I have spent hours on it. There must be better applications on the market?Thankful for help.

Is anyone else having a problem with ADE recently.  I have used this to download EPUB books from the library for a few years, and suddenly before Christmas it stopped downloading, I am getting error messages, and the book never gets to my computer folder. I have uninstalled the program then reinstalled, different versions (3.0 and 4.0) and still it does not work.Any one have  solution?

My computer is authorized with an ID for Digital Editions 1.7.2.1131.  However, with the latest update of Digital Editions 2.0.67532, it won't authorize my computer with an ID, which means that I am unable to download books to my ereader and I can only read them on the computer.  I get the following error when I try to authorize my computer with an ID: E_auth_not_ready.How do I correct this problem?  Thank you.

I get a error saying 'activtion server error'. I have used digital editions for some time to transfer to my e-reader. I have the correct Id and password so don't know how to fix this. Any ideas please?

How does one delete a book from their ADE on iPad?

I am using ADE version 4.5.3.162045 on a Windows 10 laptop.Each time I launch ADE, even though I have previously returned and removed all books, it loads a bunch of previously borrowed anddownloaded books.I again remove them, but they are loaded yet again when I next launch ADE. How can I fix this?

I'm having intermittent troubles with transferring ebooks i've borrowed from the library.  I can download to my laptop and transfer them to my K.  However, when I try to open the ebooks on my Kobo I get a square that says, "oops!  This document couldn't be opened.  this document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID.  Please sign in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again.I have contacted my library to get the advice to unintstall the current version and reinstall version 3.0.  Then authorize the computer and if it's already authorized to deauthorize and try again.  I have done this.  I've uninstalled version 3.0 and reintalled the latest version and done the whole authorize etc again.  I've contacted adobe to be told that I'm authorized and I need to come here.  PLEASE help me.

I want to change the authorization account on digital editions so it will match my phone app auth acct, but I cannot remove the old authorization account because I do not have the password. I tried going to the adobe site and getting that account pw sent to the email addr, but no email ever arrives. So I need to remove the old account without the password.

I am now incredibly frustrated and at my breaking point with Adobe Digital editions, - it has become very unreliable. My Adobe digital Editions is ‘authorized to computer without ID’ Now, Adobe Digital Editions tells me, ‘authorization needed’, which is a problem. (I don’t know what went wrong this time) I can fix the authorization problem by system restore to 2015. Reverting other programs just for adobe digital editions authorization error is very impractical, especially to 2015. Is there an actual Adobe expert who can help me regain access to my DRM books?

I'm new to Digital Library. I downloaded my first book onto my desktop (Win 7) yesterday, with some fuss, but successfully. I also got it to work on my Android tablet, quite easily. Today, I tried to download the same book to my laptop (Win 10), but I get this error message "Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN". What am I doing incorrectly? Please help!

I had to re-download my digital editions and now it is asking for an ID number. I can not remember having to do this originally. I have tried everything from my email address (Email Address removed by a Moderator) and also made a new email address with hotmail but nothing works. I use this to download books and transfer them over to my Kobo e-reader. Can you help me?

I have been having difficulties (after 2 years successful) use with 'the oops - this document couldn't beopened message' and not able to resolve. Therefore I downloaded ADE 3.0 to my desktopPC (opposed to my laptop that housed the version experiencing difficulties). ADE 3.0 is loaded,computer and device authorized. When I download a book from the library, the book isdownloaded, ADE automatically opens and I receive the message"connection error detected - ADE could not connect to the fulfillment server - please makesurw you are connected to the internet" which obviously I am.Solution - assistance? After several years of downloading books from library to ADE on my desktop (Windows 7), now when I do a download ADE opens on my screen but no book appears.Just a white blank ADE screen.  When the system was working I would then drag the book into my Nook reader. I have tried ADE 4.5.3 and 2.0  I have also unauthorizing and authorizing.  Help would be appreciated.     ....................  Alex

I am currently taking a course through Kaplan and got a digital download for the review book and was told to download adobe digital editions. I would like to have the review book on my iphone and ipad as well as my computer. It seems that nobody can answer this question or help me. Please help me figure this out?

​I have a library book on my kobo ereader which shows 65% read.  After I had recharged the kobo battery and clicked on the book again a message came up saying"Oops! This document couldn't be opened because it is not currently authorised"  When I signed in to Adobe ID again I was told there was no record of my book on mycomputer, which is strange because I am in the middle of reading it and my library account shows I have 8 more days of loan time. I have tried several times to download it again to my computer but with no success.  I don't know what to do next to be able to finish reading my book.

I had the Adobe 4.5 working in my computer, and suddenly, it began to get stuck when opening.  Windows said to try an earlier version, so I went to version 2.  It won't open either. Which version should I use?  I deleted the 4.5 and reinstalled.  Didn't work. Tried the 2, and it won't work, too.Every time that I do the reinstall, I have to turn my computer off and on again, because it gets stuck in the loading files part, and then I can't reinstall while it's working.Please help quickly!  I got an ordered library book the other day, and want to read it!

I have had Lightroom installed on my Pc for a couple of month, however when I went to use it yerterday it is failing to respond, I romoved program from my PC and reinstalled but to no avail, Anyone had similar problems?

We installed adobe digital editions 4.5.3 via admin account, then restarted and signed on with user. Opened Adobe digital editions and the program stops working, The only thing we can do is close the program. We are using Windows 8.1 on Dell XPS. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling software but it does the same thing. Please help!
