Digital Editions

Intento abrir en Adobe los libros bajados de bilbioteca pública y me dice "error al obtener la licencia. Problema de comunicación con el servidor de licencias" no sé si es problema con mi cuenta Adobe o con la biblioteca.

I downloaded a book from my library and transferred it to my laptop. Using adobe digital editions, I added the book to my Nook.  When I try to open the book on my nook I get the following:  "Error Dialog   This book has been returned.  Loan not on record".  I deleted the book from my Nook and added it again.  Same result.  I downloaded from the library again,  Same error message.  Please help!

Hi,I get the activation error every time I download an ebook from my library. I have no problems downloading pdfs to adobe digital editions, or epubs from Project Gutenberg or free review copies from my email. I have reauthorized my nook ereader but that did not solve the problem. I would also rather not uninstall Digital editions and lose my books.

I have just tried to download a my fourth book from my local library, the first three downloaded without a hitch, but now I get this message   E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR I have reinstalled Digital Downloads twice still get the same message, I also deauthorised and reauthorised with my adobe ID but still get the same message.Please help.

Hi I get this e-adept no token error when I want to open the acsm file. Although I paid attention to the following points, the error could not be resolved. Can you help me?1- The current version of the digital editions program is installed. 2- The device date and time are set correctly, 3- I repeatedly downloaded the file from different internet browsers, 4- I have deauthorized Digital Editions on my computer and re-authorized it again.

I keep getting this error anytime I try to download a book into Adobe Digital Editions.  I figured it was an authorization issue so instead of authorizing under my Adobe ID I choose the ebook vendor Overdrive (that's what my digital library uses).  I then proceeded to type in my Overdrive digital library vendor ID and password.  Well Adobe keeps telling me that the ID or password is incorrect. How? That's the exact one I use to log in to Overdrive.  What am I doing wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR This error is happening for every .acsm file I try to download from Archive.orgIt just started happening. No issues before this. I've updated ADE, de/reauthorized the program. Cleared cache and cookies. Nothing works.Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions on how to fix? This is very frustrating.

I have followed the steps to create a new password. But unfortunately I pressed "continue with google" instead of just "continue", and my account opened. So I end up on a page saying "welcome to your account, Marten" and the re is no way to create a new password from here.

I am at my wits end with ADE troubleshooting. Here at least is something that Adobe can fix...The download weblink for ADE 3.0 is broken (as of 2/27/2018). The ADE download page Adobe Digital Editions | Download has a link near the bottom to ADE 3.0 "Download Digital Edition 3.0 here This sends me to Adobe Digital Editions downloads (www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html) which is currently just a list of Adobe Product Destinations. Overdrive Help also links to this broken link.! Please fix this super simple issue asap, Adobe!!!

Hallo zusammen, ich habe hier einen Kobo Sage, ein MacBook Pro M1 mit MacOS 13.0.1 und leihe mir Bücher mittels der Onleihe aus.Früher funktionierte das auch, mal besser mal schlechter, aber meistens hat es geklappt.Jetzt habe ich hier die ADE Version 4.5.11 und bekomme nur noch die Meldung auf dem E-Reader ich hätte keine Berechtigung für das Medium. Alle Geräte sind aber autorisiert. Auch alles löschen und wieder einrichten hat nichts gebracht.Habe anderswo geleasen ein Downgrade auf eine frühere Version, vorzugsweise ADE 3.0, würde dieses Problem lösen, aber ich finde nirgends einen Downloadlink. Wäre auch schon versuchsweise mit eine nicht so alten Version, 4.x.x., zufrieden.Hat jemand vielleicht das selbe Problem oder kennt eine Lösung?Lieben Dank schonmal bis hierher,Thomas

ADE 4.5.11 When opening the program "loading library" appears but never loads the library of just shy of 300 items. Tried a reinstall and the issue persists.  Only use ADE for library downloads through Overdrive to add to a Kobo device. Found previous thread of suggestions but was not sure if they remained correct (thread was years old) and do not want to corrupt the library or the Kobo. Thanks!

Hallo,ich habe zurzeit zwei Adobe IDs, wobei eine davon auf eine E-Mailadresse läuft, die nicht mehr existiert und zudem weiß ich das dazugehörende Passwort nicht mehr. Daher kann ich die Account Synchronisierung auch nicht durchführen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Adobe direkt zu kontaktieren, um die beiden Konten zusammenzuführen oder eine andere Lösung für mein Problem? Vielen Dank!   

Ein paar Tage lang hat Adobe Digital Editions super funktioniert. Leider kann ich seit heute weder meine gekauften Bücher noch die zur Verfügung gestellten Beispielbücher öffnen. Es erscheint immer folgende Fehlermeldung:Öffnen von Erste Schritte mit Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 nicht möglichIn diesem Medium wurden Fehler gefundenfile://C:/Users/.../welcome.epubIch habe das Programm bereits mehrfach neu installiert, aber die Fehlermeldung bleibt erhalten. Computer-Autorisierung löschen geht ebenfalls nicht.

I have dowloaded three books from Freading via my library account.They have a sticker saying 13 days.  That's no problem if I could open them in the first place.Every option in ADE is greyed out though. And I'll double-check this tomorrow, but my first dowload of ADE seems to have silently deleted itself last night.  If that's so what else might it have the right to interfere with? Any thoughts very welcome. Donal.

Hello there All,I have a Chromebook and I'm attempting to move epub records from my chromebook to a Kobo tablet. Utilizing ADE I can match up example books.

Does Adobe Digital Editions have problems with the right presentation of Hebrew in general? I tried different solutions to fix the problem, but i guess it's maybe a problem with Digital Editions? Here's how it looks like:  I embedded the fonts (in this case Minion Pro). I tried it with encrypted fonts and also with decrypted. The hebrew passages have a html- and xhtml-tag with specifies the language (lang="he-IL", xml:lang="he-IL"). I tried some other weird stuff, but nothing helped. Does someone have any other idea/solution? I would be greatful! It would be also a relief to know that the problem comes from Digital Editions …Thank you!

In 2014 I bought a book and I received vendor code and Adobe Digital Editions 3.0. Now I could not open the book 'The Strategy Alliance Handbook'. I need your help to fix the problem

Cuando descargo un libro digital de la Biblioteca Pública Digital "Ebiblio" en mi pc portátil, con extensión .acsm (libros electrónicos en préstamo) como préstamo para 21 días, la aplicación "Adobe Digital Editions 4.5" es la que es intermediaria para pasar dicho libro electronico.acsm desde la carpeta de descargas de mi pc hasta el ebook KOBO. Cuando arrastro dicho libro desde la carpeta de descargas al Grupo Elementos del "Adobe Digital Editions", lo hace perfectamente, pero, cuando una vez instalado allí, trato de arrastrarlo nuevamente, pero para pasarlo a la sección de libro KOBO, para que se instale en el mismo, no lo hace, emergiendo una ventana de diálogo con el siguiente error: "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED". Ya he hablado con KOBO y la Biblioteca y me dicen que el problema debe de estar en la configuración de "ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS" con el PC.  Pido por favor ayuda para este problema. Gracias.

Hallo ihr lieben , ich habe heute mein neuen tolino vision 6 bekommen und war voller frewude endlich wieder lesen zu dürfen . Leider kann ich meine e book die ich gespeichert habe nicht auf mein tolino rüber ziehen obwohl ich es autorisiert habe und alles drum und dran . der tolino wird einfach nicht angezeigt in der leiste wie früher

I am having difficulty transferring library ebook from ADE to Kobo Sage.  Purchased books from Kobo open no problem.  The library ebook looks like it is importing when I disconnect my ereader from PC.  It shows the title of the book as it is loading, then it just turns black and I get an error message "This book is protected by ADE management (DRM).  Because you previously deauthorized your ereader ....."  I have tried to reset everything, my ereader, my computer, my library access, everything.  I have made sure accounts are the same.  Still, nothing is working.
