Dreamweaver

I'm editing our staff page using dreamweaver. The staff images are in a table. The images have a width of 125px. The column the pictures are in is wider than the image width. I am unable to click and drag the column border to snap it to the image. I have also tried using the table properties to resize with no luck. Any idea?

While editing a file in code view the lower right-hand portion of the screen will flash white while typing.  This ocurred in version 20.2, and continues in v21.  The machine is an iMac pro (2017), 3ghz, 10 core, 128 gb ram, vega 64 w/16gb,, MAC OS 10.15.7

Hey everyone! I am completely at a loss as to what is happening. Responsive websites are killing me! 😭 I have attached screenshots below of desktop site and a video of what is happening on mobile site.  So.. All text and images EXCEPT home page and footer are not showing on mobile. Backgrounds are still there though. However, I can copy text that is supposed to be there, so it is there - I just cannot see it. Desktop is fine - screenshots are what it looks like. Video is of mobile site not showing elements. Any help as to what this may be? I can't find anything in the code or figure it out. Any suggestions and /or advice would be much appreciated!! Jess

A client of ours wants to know if Dreamweaver is the right tool for them, I thought of sharing the client's requirements here may be some one can assist since Dreamweaver isn't my arena.   Here is what I received that didn't make sense to me… Adobe Dreamweaver with working server behaviors & database for (asp,php,coldfusion). Will it also comes with adobe exchange? I'm trying to train on creating a web site and mobile apps using adobe Dreamweaver   Apparently, the client wants to be sure that Dreamweaver provides the above before bying it.

My era 2013 Dreamweaver app is refusing to open on this Mac Book pro using OS 10.6 says I must reinstall. Message says Resouce folder has not got configuaration file to start.I do not have original disc or access to download, maybe 2013, what can I do ?  Help Chat suggests answer may lay here.......

I had an older website that used Flash. I used Flash to pan and zoom a map. I want to replace that code with Zoomify. I make all the necessary changes on my computer and using the preview button the resulting page looks great. I've tried this with Chrome, Firefox and IE. I upload the files to the server. When I display the webpage that contains the map, everything displays except the map. That area is blank. I do not get an error message, e.g. 404 file not found. I then went to the html file on my computer, right clicked, and said to open with Firefox. The page opens but the map is not shown. Everything else looks good. No errors displayed. I tried clearing the cache but that did not help. The perplexing thing is that I don't get any errors like 404 can't find file. Do you have any suggestions as to what I might try? Marcus Libkind

Hello --   So I know this is a Dreamweaver forum but there is no Adobe Portfolio forum.  I am trying to find out if anyone knows how to manually add or alter the code in Adobe Portfolio?  In Dreamweaver you can switch between code view and design view, but in Adobe Portfolio you cannot -- or am I wrong about this?   thanks in advance!

Hi, I have this weird problem.When I try to create or even edit a recordset, automatically all the tables I can select once I choose the connection are reported to me with "Null." before the table name. Obviously if I go for a test I get an error on the string syntaxConnection: Conn_1Table:  Null.Orders           Null.User           Null Vendor           Null.CountriesI connect with ADODB to accdb access database.From code then I go to change all the names, but I did not understand what the problem is due to.Can someone help me?Thank you

Image hotspot goes to the wrong url. It works as it should in preview mode, but not online. This same hotspot and image is on every page of the website. Only the index page is having this issue. It works as it should on all the other pages.  

Hi, I have an error message : Failed to load translated resource files. To correct this problem, please re-enter.I reinstalled the software but it's still the same !

When creating a new page and you compare  it with an existing page, What is the difference between a Blue border and a ORANGE border ,when you hi-lite the name of the  div class  / id to see it's name. Is it something to do with not saving the file that has an  orange border, when hi-lited. Thank you.

We have Dreamweaver  CS5.5 and got it to be able to use tabs on some of our WWW page and it all works fine.  Originally installed on Windows 7 (2011 time frame) but I am running Windows 10 now and Dreamweaver is not even installed since I can do what I need to do on the WWW site with what is out there already.I have some pages with tabbed displays and when I put a table in the tab it doesn't have table borders around the table but the cells in te tabel have borders and I wish the cells did not have borders. If I put a table on the page that is NOT in a Dreamweaver tab there will be no borders so the problem is only with tables that are in a tab. I'm not proficent in CSS but can follow directions on how to make changes if enough details are provided for a novice like me. To see the issue visit this URL and choose the Hardware tab to see a simple table showing borders in the cells that I would like to get rid of https://www.touchwindow.com/c/EloTemperatureCh

This past weekend, I opened a chat with Adobe asking how to delete cooking associated with Dreamweaver.  The tech said I needed to contact them again on Monday, during normal business hours,  I needed to resolve the issue so I could continue working on my website so I completely removed Dreamwever 21.0 (running on a Mac) and all references I could find (as an example: Dreamweaver plist) and reinstalled it.  Also, before the reinstall, if I was viewing a page in MAMP, saving the page in Dreamweaver the page open in the browser would automatically be updated.  Now I must close the webpage (Chrome is my browser pf Choice) and reopen again in Dreamweaver Preview. Are these bugs or are theisettings I nhave missed.

I'm working on a site which will eventually have a large number of pages with scroll down menus for links. Hello Community,I added a small div  inside another div, when I pick a background color or other formatting options  from the selector properties of the new div,  nothing happens. The new div does not accept any formatting.what can I do to resolve this.thank you .  

I am trying to embed a Facebook post with a video, to my website. I open the video to full screen, then click "Embed", and a window comes up where I can click "Include full post" and can copy the code from the little space above the video. I go to my Dreamweaver (2021), put my cursor in Design View, then switch to Code View, and paste the code there. The embedding works, and it displays correctly on my website. HOWEVER, in the Design View it shows the coding highlighted in yellow, which stretches across the screen --- it's a bit annoying because I cannot then see the actual layout of my Design page anymore. What is causing this? Is there anything that can be done, so I can see my Design View correctly?  I'm attaching a couple of screenshots that show what I mean.  

My installed long ago Homesite 5 suddenly started crashing on load. I tried to reinstall but also got a crash during reinstall??? Homesite use to be on my software CD. In today's cloud world, how can I find Homesite? Also, is there a later version? If not, I'm very satisfied with Homesite 5; I'd just like to get it to load again. I'm using Windows 10. Thanks for any help.

I did not build this website and the company that did is gone. I needed to put a banner on my main page and had to create a new style to format it. Browser previws on my PC - Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Edge all look great my PC but when uploaded to my website it does not display correctly. The text is there but not the formatting. I uploaded both the edited page and the edited CSS, but it seems like the live site is not reading the CSS. I can make changes in Dreamweaver and they show up right away on my PC so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. It's probably someting stupid but it is really throwing me that the local view is good but the published view is not. Any help appreciated! 

The top screenshot shows my keywords as currently on the homepage. I like the way it looks and do not want to change it. The bottom screenshot shows the current code. I want to change it to H1 tags instead, for SEO purposes only. Just to let the engines know these are important keywords. But I do not want the font size to display larger when doing so ( which automatically occurs). I would like the font to remain exactly as is shown, even after we change it to H1. Thanks
