Here's DW newbie with a simple question. Can't find it on the two page shortcut list.  How do I let Dreamweaver remember it's last code line position? when I reopen DW it always goes back to line 1. Thanks for reading and (hopefully) answering  Best Regards, René

Hi, I installed a few apps through Creative Cloud. Acrobat and InDesign work fine, but when trying to launch Dreamweaver, nothing happens.If I check the tasks manager, Dreamweaver appears with only 7Mo of memory each time I try to launch it again. I tried deleting and reinstalling it, didn't work. Any idea? I have a limited amount of internet data so if I could avoid re-downloading again and again, it would help me as well 😛 Thanks! William

Is MySQLi included in Dreamweaver 2020?If yes, where dot I find it?I have PHP pages made in PHP version 5.6. I want to upgrade these pages to PHP 7.4.2. How do I proceed? Is there an easy way to rewrite the PHP scripts?Thank you in advance.  

So, I just installed a fresh, new Windows 10 and Dreamweaver.I opened the program, it welcomed me, start screen, I chose to see a sample document.And then the program just closed and disappeared and this showed up:So, obviously, I ticked all the boxes and clicked Allow access.I tried to run the program again. It closes immediately as I open it, without any prompts and crash reports.What to do? 

I am the IT administrator and the user is signed into Adobe CC 5.2.0.436 and Adobe Dreamweaver 20.2 with a Federated ID. When they want to use the preview on device feature they get this error "You do not have access to this service. Contact your system administrator for assistance"  When I use an Adobe ID for testing the feature works fine but as soon as the Federated ID is signed the error comes back.  Is there a solution to this where the user can have access as I have tried everything on this website https://helpx.adobe.com/nz/dreamweaver/using/device-preview-troubleshooting.html but it hasn't helped?

I've never done an imagemap in Dreamweaver (did heaps of them in GoLive)I'm using this document https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/image-maps.htmlIt says that when I select the image and expand properties I should get a map field but this is what my properties look like when I select the image. Where is this map field that the tutorial speaks of? 

Hi. I am using a free web design from Templatemo. When I create a template of my own using this design (with all their formating, bootstrap, CSS etc..), the template seems fine. A preview of the template looks great. However, when I then create a new page using that template, it has lost all the CSS formating (spacing, fonts, colors etc). The "live" view on Dreamweaver shows only the HTML coded text, while a preview on a web browser brings up the error message "Save all the files (including related files) to preview.". Please Help!

I have a valid license for CS3 which I purchased years ago.  I have received a new activation code and uninstalled CS3 components.  Every time I attempt to reactivate the software I get the following error: Regardless of what I do, I get the same error. I only have three days left to reactivate the software and I'm getting desperate.  I'm retired and only use the software to maintain a personal web site.  I can't afford to purchase a new Adobe suite to do what little web work I do.   I have followed the direction provided on the Adobe site to the letter.  Any help is certainly appreciated. Can you delete a site after it has been created or modify some its properties. 

Hallo ich kann unter Windows 10 mein Dreamweaver 8 nicht installieren (entpackt zwar Installdateien - jedoch bleibt die statusanzeige hängen bzw. läuft nicht weiter) Hab auch verschieden Fehlerquellen (Virenscanner, andere Anwendungen) ausgeschlossen. Ich hab zuvor (vor Neuinstallation OS) das ganze ohne Fehler installieren können ? wer kann mir weiterhelfen oder Tipps geben .. Gruß Andreas P.S: lese gerade im Forum das dreamweaver 8 zu "alt" ist .... komisch bei mir lief es ohne probleme ... es lässt sich nur jetzt nicht mehr installieren...

Hi all. I have a old school request for old old software, but it's for a hobby project of my Grandad and his friend. They still use Contribute to maintain a website and are quite happy with it, but I've just moved hosting and now can't connect to SFTP nor administer the site from Dreamweaver. I can connect to the server in Dreamweaver without issue, but Contribute gives me problems with the wizard. Could anyone tell me what settings I might have to change in Contribute to make it work, or how to create a contribute key (or edit the old one?!) so that I can update the details. I noticed in Contribute it doesn't have the option to specify port (I need it to be 22) so not sure if this is the issue. But it just says cannot connect instantly, so it doesn't really try for long (this is in Contribute when manually inputting the server details through the connection wizard). I tried the 'administer site in Contribute' button but it doesn't do anything, even with Contribute insta

That is no help when DreamWeaver SX crashes when trying to open a page, that has virtual includes.I bought a lifetijme license of Dreamweaver MX in 97 so that I could use the then new virtual includes, but this spring Adome stole my lifetime license and forced me to buy DreamWeaver SX. Ohn most pages, NOT ALL, that have used virtual includes for 3 decades, DreamWeaver SX crashes.After they stole my MX, some guy from Adobe installed SX onto my W10 machine.Does DreamWeaver SX not work on a W10 machine?Where can I download it for my W7 machine?ThanksDearWebby

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe in Dreamweaver für meine Webseite eine Vorlage erstellt.Mit dieser Vorlage will ich meine Seiten erstellen.Der editierbare Teil der Vorlage soll der Inhaltsbereich meiner Seite sein.Soweit hat alles funktioniert. Das Problem ist, dass der Eintrag im HTLM Kopf für die verlinkte CSS Datei nicht editierbar ist, wenn ich mit der Vorlage eine neue Seite anlege. Ich habe also immer die gleiche CSS Datei. Was kann ich tun um für jede Seite eine eigene CSS Datei zu bekommen z.B. Kontakt.html und kontakt.css?GrußMarkus

I'm using Adobe Dreamweaver 19.2.1 I'm working on a website that that uses SSIs to call on headers and footers. Everything displays fine on the test server, but they don't appear in Split view or Live View. Is there a way for me to preview it as it would look on the test server? Hello! I am familiar with Dreamweaver, so I rely on these youtube videos and forums for aid. However, there is one issue I cannot seem to find a solution to. Adobe Dreamweaver promotes an automatic connection to GIT if installed with the default configurations. This, however, was not the case. I tried with GitHub and the actual GIT Client, but Dreamweaver cannot seem to find it. Yes, I relaunch the program every time. I would preferably like to connect GitHub as I am more familiar with its GUI, but if need be I can adapt to GIT. Please help!

I believe it has something to do with the speed it saves it. It seems to be still saving it while the upload starts, thereby getting a failed message.  Then I have to make another change to the file and try it again, and it normally goes up the 2nd time. As I make a lot of changes and want to see the results having it fail 50% of the time is very annoying. Any suggestions? I have tested other options and they do not fail, but I prefer to use Dreamweaver.

I have a project where I need to convert an 18 page word doc (docx) to Markdown (md) for a CMS site. I was hoping I could just copy the word doc and paste into dreamweaver and have it convert to md like it does for HTML. Alas it does not. Was then hoping that after DW converted it to HTML, I could then convert the HTML to md....that didn't work either or at least I couldn't figure it out. Anyone have any ideas of how to get a large docx file converted to md?? If it wasnt 18 pages of content, I could just hand code it. Its also some private info, so I cant use an online converter for privacy issues. Any thoughts would be helpful.

I've built a site in Dreamweaver CS6/2020 to replace an existing site. It was working (in a test environment, so to speak) a month ago. I've since uploaded the files to Yahoo's Staging Environment and it's not working there. I get the dreaded 404 error message when trying to access the index.html.I would love some help, assistance, getting this site live. Any takers out there?Thank you,Elaine

How can I quickly toggle between a size 3 and size 4 of my default fonts using the properties window of Dreamweaver CS.5?In my old version of Dreamweaver the Properties section had a window marked  Font and Size. I now have to manually type in <font size ="3"> in code rather than clicking a button
