TypoScript Syntax Highlighting

Hello,is there an plugin etc. to work in DW with TYPO3 Syntax.I cannot find anything which is actually.There seems an TypoScript_1.0.3.zxp but even the import is an command tool line, not very comfortable.And for CC 2014 we have 2020, so i dont know where this old files going and what can be broken.THX

Dreamweaver, Bootstrap Search Bar

Hello, I'm new to this group. Would really like some help on setting up the "search" bar in Dreamweaver's Bootstrap template. I've used the template to design my site and uploaded to server. I was not able to use the search. Can someone point me to the right codes. Thanks.

Invisible Character after Duplicating File using Shortcuts in Dreamweaver

Hello All,  I have seen this question asked multiple times but it seems that no one is able to recieve an solid answer. I am currently working on a project and needed to create several copies of a template file and rename them. Naturally I used the keyboard shortcuts for this by CMD D to duplicate and F2 to rename the file. (I am on Mac OS Catalina V10.15.4 using Dreamweaver V 20.1 Build 15211)  Naturally I thought that this would work. Going into my files I am linking a file in an html form.  Personally I would write this out manually like below:But for some reason Dreamweaver can't find my file (Which I am looking right at.), however if I use Dreamweavers suggestions it comes out to the following:That little red dot, which is translated as an extra space where none exists on my end, is the bane of my existence when trying to link my files to work.  This is causing an entire break in my system, and I am having to go back through every file (Ther

How to activate search bar in static html page

Hi,I have created a search button in a static web page, but cannot activate it. It returns nothing when I try to search sime word or text in the page or a related page. Pls note that I am not after Google seacrh activation but search engine of the website's own. Also note that webpage is notnpublished but static one. I need to re-activate CS3 [CS1, CS2 and CS3 are dead]

I really need to re-activate this program, but they cannot help me.  I have the serial number and the last re-activation code which no longer works.  Is there anything I can do to be able to use this program now?   Thanks.

Dreamweaver cs5 CFID /CFToken

I have Dreamweaver cs5.  It has worked fine for many years.  But this year (2020) I can make changes, upload my changes, but the changes are not shown in any web browser.  My web host says the problem in in the configuring of CFID abd CFToken.  I can not see what is wrong. Multiple backgrounds (only want certain ones repeating)

Hello ,Can anyone send a line or two to please help me with this? Using an older version of Dreamweaver, I have apage where I have a main background, and others throughout the page. I have tried the common "background-repeat: no-repeat" html code, CSS ideas, and other things, but nothing works.It seems that the way in which the code is written, when the main background image is set to repeat, makes all the others repeat. Is the problem there then - should I change that code in the beginning part of the body code?Thank you kindly in advance. Hope everyone is safe and healthy!

"Preview In Browser" connecting to server while in local view

Hi All. In Dreamweaver, when I try to ‘Preview in Browser’ it automatically starts connecting to my remote server and putting files even though I have ‘Local view’ switched on in my work space which is in ‘Developer’ mode. Can anyone help please?

How to align text from design view

I use DW as a code editor since I have it.  I don't use all the fancy little shortcuts you guys have.  But I have a client who does.  He cannot seem to be able to align text anymore.  He highlights the text in Design mode, right clicks on it, and can't see the Properties link at the bottom as I can.  I click that and get a small panel that allows me to align the text.  He does not.  What are we doing differently?  How exactly is this supposed to be done? Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

Adobe Should Be Ashamed

Just as the title says. I'm not "hating" and I'm not some kid who thinks life is a free ride. I recently tried Dreamweaver as my top choice for a web development platform with high hopes from a name I have trusted like Adobe and was fairly disappointed. I really wanted to love it, and it had a few things I really did love. But... Dreamweaver lacks features which should be standard in "traditional" style web builders in 2020, such as drag and drop functionality, as well as far more CSS design features than the half-baked setup Dreamweaver offers. Instead of purchasing a subscription of $20/mo for Dreamweaver, I bought a $50 license for Pinegrow. Web development software like Pinegrow have far outpaced Dreamweaver in every way. So, thing is... shame on Adobe for charging $20/mo for a glorified text editor and half-baked CSS designer. You have done nothing innovative for the field in the last 20 years. You can't even compete with indie-developers. You could be the top of th

When I try and preview the page, I get ... >> You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Open the page in Dreamweaver to preview the page on the device. << The page IS open in Dreamweaver on my local computer, but it is not connected to the serverIn DW 8, this just worked. Besides Dreamweaver? Hopefully a WYSIWYG type program because I don't know coding. I asked this a few years ago and am hoping there's something new I can use. my website is being converted over to Word Press but until that happens would be nice to edit my website.

SFTP - An FTP error occurred - Dreamweaver

Hi,I've seen a few people with this error but not a solution that seems to work.Using SFTP I get the following error:An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host.Your login or password is incorrect. Please check your connection information.From the same computer & with the same server / login details WinSCP makes a connection no problem. Turning off Windows Firewall makes no difference. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

Force refresh external files

Hi,I am trying to refresh an external stylesheet that is referenced in my html page. ie: (<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://somesite.com/custom.css">) Since it is not a local file, clicking the refresh at the bottom right of the files panel does not refresh the external file.  Clicking out of the tab and back into it doesnt refresh either.  I still see the old styles. I can't find a way to force refresh external files. This is driving me bonkers becasue I need to often pull the latest version of the css file which is changing often while im developing.  Pulling in a local copy will just make matters worse as Im not the only devleoper on the project.  So we update a common css file that we are both using to work with.Any help/tricks/workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,todd

Dw CC 18.x: Save "Find/Replace" results

Hello, all, I seem to remember in previous versions of Dw that if I did a find or find/replace, I could save it for future reference.  I'm using Dw CC 18.2.1, and I'm not seeing this ability.  Or is it just not intuitive and I'm skipping right over it? V/r, ^ _ ^

How to fix errors in my code [was: dreamweaver]

I have purchased dreamweaver to building my client's websites. I have never used an application software like this before. I found out that I needed to purchase a webhost provider. I invested more money into Bluehost. I bought a package that has SSL certifactions, maleware protection, unlimited domian names, e-commerce. I wanted to connect everything to dreamweaver. No one who works for Bluehost nor Adobe , knows how to do it. Connecting the applications to the dreamweaver sit I am building. I also have been watching video's on youtube: bring your own laptop. And www.w3schools.com, to learn coding and how to use html and css. And my codes are saying my closing tags are not connecting to the open tags. And the other picture is saying I am missing the main.css. Can anyone help me? Coding websites or tutiorals. How to fix these problems? How to connect the products from Bluehost to dreamweavet.
