Dreamweaver

I've been uploading to one of my clients sites hosted by WPEngine with no problem for some time. Recently, WPEngine did a host key change. So I removed my key in Terminal (I'm on Mac) and I can SFTP using Cyberduck but not Dreamweaver anymore. Instead, I get the following prompt:Failed to Read the contents of XML Resource:IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOGContacted WPEngine support and they said it's Dreamweaver's fault (of course) and to use Filezilla or Cyberduck instead. I prefer Dreamweaver. So I want to keep using that but how do I eliminate this error?{Thread renamed by moderator}

I am using bootstrap 4.3.1 for a tab bar.I want to have different colour tab bars on different HTML pages.say blue / red/ orange / greenI can change the colour in the css but it alters them all. I have tried to copy the css and change the name and alter the name in the css and html page but this does not work.This is the code that changes the tab bar colour is bootstap.nav-tabs .nav-link.active,.nav-tabs .nav-item.show .nav-link {    color: #FFFFFF;    background-color: #2399FB;    border-color: #dee2e6 #dee2e6 #fff;}is there a way to do this?thanksTim

I use a Windows computer and after designing my site and uploading it to my remote server, it looks fine on my Windows computer and my Windows tablet but I just discovered that the page doesn't show correctly if you view it on an Apple product or an Android device.I hope it's ok to put a link to my site so you can see what I've tried to create. The problem people are experiencing on an Apple product or Android device is the text on the bottom of the page doesn't appear inside my bordered design and overlaps lines of text.I am not very experienced with Dreamweaver so I don't know if there's a way to make some change so my site can be seen correctly or do I need to start over again and design it without borders around my page context?

Hello.I made a web site where the divs align perfectly in Dreamweaver live view and in the server previews, but when the site went live the page parts don't line up, especially when you enlarge or make the page smaller. I have 2004 Dreamweaver - disc and serial number.  Need to activate.  Phone number for code doesn't work because Macromedia is apparently out of business.  What help to get it on my computer? 

I had a computer crash and i'm now on a new computer. How do I download my website into dreamweaver on this computer? I'm using version CS4 and godaddy is who my hosting is through.

Hello:I've upgraded my Mac OS to Mojave. After launching DW CC, I attempted to activate one of my DW pages but got this message:  "Safari can't connect to the server "localhost". Apple advises me that the "localhost app that I use — XAMPP (5.631-0) — is not a 64-bit version that Mojave will soon require.I Google-searched "XAMPP 64-bit version for Mojave" and found six versions available. [I planned to attach a screenshot of those versions but I no longer see an option to do that. Is there another way to add screenshots to Adobe forums? I know my software is old, but it's been my loyal friend for over 10 years.  Most problems I've been able to solve, however I've been sent a file that was created in Adestra then exported.  When I try opening the file in my Dreamweaver the software 'freezes' and I need to force it to close.Apparently Adestra have introduced some new templates and I suspect this is the issue.  However, if anyone is able to guide me through successfully opening these files that would be amazing!Thanks!

I cannot get the extract panel to load in Dreamweaver CC on my Mac.  The tutorial will load, but I can never actually use this feature.

Hello,In DW cc, the template seems to have put some restriction on creating vertical jQuery UI tabs.I am trying to create a vertical navigation menu in a web page which was from a website template in Dreamweaver CC. In the EditRegion, I tried inserting jQuery UI tabs, and then in properties switching orientation from horizontal to vertical to create a set of vertical tabs. That did not work. I was getting the message "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded". Note that if I create an new html file directly, not generated from a template (dwt), DW would allow vertical jQuery UI tabs.I was wondering if anyone knows a solution to this issue, or may suggest a different way to make a vertical navigation menu. In older DW I used spry which worked well to create a vertical menu, but unfortunately spry is not available in the DW cc any more.Thank you,DZ

I'm going to put an old standalone version, CS3 and put it on Parallels. Anyone know what the Mac version was when this came out? And what is the procedure/ obtain the OS  it to get it onto a Parallels? Thanks. I'm a current Mac user, High Sierra.

I have a customer that sells Table Ads. Each table they sell, has about 35 different advertisers. Is there a way or type of code that I can use to create a directory of  these advertisers? I would like to be able to search by name, city, state and type of business. Dynamic datalist using java no longer available in DWCC19: Is there a simple way to link an xml dataset to a sortable datalist in the new version Dreamweaver?For years I have used this simple method to publish our products in our monthly newsletter (www.malescowinebroker.com/Register.html)The server bindings extension is not valid for DW2019, so I cannot even use this.My website may be old but I do not want to rebuild it just yet. I realize there are probably 50 better ways to achieve the same results, but a long list of limitations that are out of my control is forcing me to really narrow down the custom solution I'm looking for.I'm looking to create these two very specific links :An <a href=""> that targets the current/active url PLUS"_alt" in the filename (so "domain.com/about" becomes "domain.com/about_alt")An <a href=""> that targets the current/active url MINUS the last 4 characters.(so "domain.com/about_alt" becomes "domain.com/about")Every page on the site has an "_alt" version. I could insert the 1st link in the original template's navigation, and the other in the "alt" template, allowing users to easily bounce from either version of the page regardless of how many pages there are (without the use of databases or individual custom links). Hello:I haven't yet created a Library item with CC (although I have with CS5 and CS6 without difficulty). I made my first attempt today using CC.Following what I see on Adobe's "Work with library items in Dreamweaver " page, I've tried numerous times to create a sample library item and add it to a new TEST page.The first method on Adobe's page suggests that I select a portion of the document that I'll save as a library item. Step 2 reads:Select Tools > Library > Add Object to Library.Unfortunately, "Add Object to Library" is grayed out for each selection that I choose.     (  ; - (Adobe's second section is titled "Create an Empty Library Item." How do I change the UI language in Dreamweaver CC to Simplified Chinese? Illustrator and Photoshop are fully in Chinese but Dreamweaver is mostly still in English. A few parts are in Chinese. It seems like Adobe haven’t actually added full Chinese UI support for Dreamweaver. I have selected 简体中文 on the Creative Cloud tab of Adobe CC settings. Still all English when I delete/reinstall Dreamweaver.
