Dear,Everything refers to open local page (remote server).Please, I am in need of help to know how to solve what has been happening with Dreamweaver versions CC 2018 and CC 2019 in relation to Dreamweaver CS6.I have "Adobe Creative Cloud" and have installed the following versions of Dreamweaver.a) CS6,b) CC 2018 e;c) CC 2019.I intend, for a while, to stay alone with Dreamweaver CC 2018, then only with CC 2019. But at the moment I would like to take this doubt, even because I do not know if uninstalling the CS6 version will continue happening what I am seeing with CC 2018 and CC 2019.What's happening?In the CS6 version, when I give an F12, in a page, it shows in the address as for example:  http: //localhost/minespages/version_03/index.phpIn my view, there is no mistake. The page opens normal, interact with database in MySQL. How to reduce the window width? Why is it reduced only to a certain width? There is a lot of useless space in it. In any code editor, this window can be reduced to a minimum.

Hi everyoneI am making an email template for one of our clients. I use <span> to format text.I put placeholder text, already styled, into the html. The goal being that the client can easily highlight and replace the text from within the design view, not the code.Anytime one highlights the entire text and either pastes in content or types, up pops a "create new inline style" dialog box that must be canceled 3 times before you can edit the text.Placing the cursor in the text and typing, or highlighting a portion of the text does not bring up the dialog box (it's only when the entire text is highlighted).How can I get this to stop?Here is a sample of the code if it helps.<span style="font-size: 18px; line-height: 24px; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: normal;">Newsletter Statement goes here.</span>Dreamweaver 19.0 on Mac OS 10.12.6ThanksMatt

Hi there, I am fairly new to Dreamweaver. I am using one of the email templates. I can format and make everything appear when I paste it into my email, except images! I have read that the images need to be located on the internet somewhere, so they appear when the recipient opens their email. I have tried a couple of places like Google Photos, entered the link, but still nothing. Is there some other type of website I should be using?Also, when entering the location of the photo in DW, where should that be done? Through the code? Or when I double click the photo where the window populates and lists file name and location?I have looked online at tutorials, but no one really explains where to house there online photos.If anyone can help, it would be really appreciated. I am wanting to send these from Gmail and have an HTML code input program that is translating what I am building in Dreamweaver. Absolutely everything else is working for me, except images. I have a page of photos with accompanying text on a page. The photo-text divs are all class formatted (div class="format_name"), and they are all the same, CSS-wise, and are arranged vertically on the page.  Originally, when there were just three sets of photo-text, I created new divs for each one. Now I need to add 4 more sets, so I just pasted the first three, and repasted the first one over again, to get 7. It's a fluid layout; I have checked the corresponding CSS files (three of them) for each screen view, and those files are all the same within each view.I have tested this new page on a few different browsers, and it seems to work. And the more I think about it, I probably only needed 1 pair of photo-rext Divs, which I could then copy and paste 6 times. They would all have the same name (and the same corresponding CSS file), but other than their sequence on the page (in the source code), there is no difference in their formatting attributes (width, margin, etc.)This approach

This is a Dreamweaver question. My imac died and I only had things partially saved. I would like to download the whole site as is from the server for my website so I can use it again. I did it with Dreamweaver a long time ago and its pretty archaic, but I've been changing things in it 'til my computer died late last year. Trying to figure out how to download what is there now so I can revise it again. Have a Cloud account so it was probably updated with whatever was current last September. Downloaded the latest Dreamweaver a  week ago. Reinstalled my Adobe apps from scratch.I'm an artist, a painter, who just taught myself rudimentary use of Dreamweaver to build myself a website a long time ago, so I'm really not very skilled or knowledgeable with this stuff. But I can follow common sense things. Looked at some questions on the forum but it seems a lot are many years old. I don't know the name of my root folder, etc.Thanks.Michael

Hello,Is there a way I can have 3 view of my document at the same time?:- Live View (or design view sometimes)- HTML code view- CSS code view?I want to have something like a fork in DW, is it possible? I need have three of them at the same time, the live view is important for me, because I am still learning and I make lots lots of changes and I need to see the rendered result. I sometimes receive code for a page that has mixed sizes and styles, apart from using CSS, how do you change the font size and style for the whole page in one go please?

This post is an act of desperation as most of my time with the latest Dreamweaver is just WAITING for the code to load.I've been using DW for many years working with files of similar structure. CS6 worked seamlessly. CC 2015 was a bit troublesome. The CC 18 has this issue but:This latest version CC19.0 is not actually functioning AT ALL! Because of the nature of the website I'm working on, sometimes I'm opening several pages at the same time and use 'Find and replace' function. This worked on previous versions but now opening just two pages is proving impossible. Here is a screenshot after THREE HOURS OF WAITING!!!Editing links in code view requires switching off code hints, otherwise it takes ages or freezes completely.

Dear people, Hi.Can someone please give me some help to embed an HTML5 Canvas into my webpage...I have built the website in Dreamweaver, have all the pages, it is "responsive" and works well. (on my local machine... It is not uploaded or live yet...)I have also built a nice "photo slideshow" using Animate and have published it as an HTML5 Canvas and of course set it to be responsive.So, now how do I insert it/embed it, or whatever, into my website page ???In the recent past, I could simply add the SWF file, just as you would add a photo to a page.... (oh GOOD times back then !!!)Now of course, devices like iPad do not support the SWF format, so I have painstakingly made a new slideshow in Animate !!!! (PHEW)Please tell me how to put it in my webpage.Or, is there a better way to create an animated slide show to show off my photos. Hi;I'm using Dreamweaver and Chrome. On my site I have a main page with some content pages branching off of it. I have clickable images on the main page to allow moving to the other pages. If you hover over an image, rollover text will appear. When I open my main page and hover over one of the clickable images, the rollover text appears as expected. Once I go the page and then go back to the main page via a link on the content page, rollover text will no longer appear on the main page. However, if I go back to the main page via the back arrow in Chrome, then the rollover texts appear. Any ideas?Thanks;jjfjr

Hello experts!Is there a way to control content from within an iframe using a main menu without refreshing the browser at each menu selection?The detail of my need is: I've created eight standalone but associated Adobe Spark presentations (my original content was simply too lengthy for a single Spark presentation). Let's say each of the 8 presentations has 10 pages/slides. WISH #1: I would like to command the presentations from a single, responsive webpage's menu so User may select from any of the 8 topics from the menu and have the iframe refresh and point to the selected Spark presentation - but without refreshing the entire page.I do understand the above could be sort of accomplished by simply having 8 separate web pages with a dedicated iframe for each Spark presentation.
