When I check my site in DREAMWEAVER for wrong hyperlinks I get a list with the names #back. instead of a wrong hyperlinka.I don't know how to fix it oder to clear this list.
Greetings Coding experts, thanks for looking at this post. I’m trying to make the size of a coin appear its actual size on mobile, specifically I been testing with iphone6 plus. The size of the coin image is 2000px. The coin's actual dem's are 146px or 38mm; easily would fit on a iphone screen. I specified 146px length and width properties on the image tag. The image is accurate on desktop and ipads, but it scales down on iphone.I have tried different containers, no containers, using vw and vh. I can not get the image to show its real size on iphone.In my last attemp I scaled down the original image 146px. (attached) Iphone shrinks this image and of course it is very dim.The meta tag is in the head. HI there,Please see attached. I get this erorr. I contacted the server and they did everythign possible thing for a whole day and nothing works. DW ftp was working until 2 days ago and all of a sudden i get thie error. I tried connecting with ftp.websitename as FTP address, and then again as IP addressI tried changing port to 21 and 22I tried with "Use Passive FTP" ticked and unticked. Nothing works. Can you guys help?
I made an image flow in Photoshop using three frames in a timeline. When I try to insert it into Dreamweaver, I need to convert it to a jpeg. Then the timeline isn't flowing. Is it because I need to insert the file differently or will it work fine when uploaded?Thank you in advance,
I found a thread here about website hosting but since it is from 2013, I thought it would be OK if I start it again.I am looking to change hosting companies. I am with HostGator and VERY unhappy with them. Don't want to consider GoDaddy or Netfirms because of previous contact. I've heard both good and bad about BlueHost. I don't know of any others and a google search is rather overwhelming. I'd rather start with people I trust in the Adobe forums for help.I have 2 websites. Neither has any sort of shopping cart involved. One is WordPress (www.successful-solutions.com), one is Dreamweaver (www.desertpipes.org). Neither has an SSL and I know I need one.I just want a host that gives has a good uptime record, decent customer support for these simple sites, isn't going away soon, and hopefully won't break the bank. I am a web designer and have been using Dreamweaver since the Macromedia days. When Creative Cloud came out I was using Creative Suite 6. I decided to try out Creative Cloud, but after 3 years I have not found any significant improvements in Dreamweaver. In fact, I was still using CC 2014 as late as last month. I did try the new versions, but I preferred the earlier ones for Photoshop, and Illustrator. I was also still using Fireworks from CS6. The only application I felt was worth a subscription was Acrobat.I decided last year to give it one more year and renewed. I wanted to see if any new pricing options or functionality might be introduced that would prompt me to stay. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, so I let my CC subscription die last month and I went back to using CS6 applications.I have been a loyal Adobe customer for almost 20 years and I'm writing this post to express my frustration with Adobe's new pricing model. In the previous version of Dreamweaver, I could edit two files as described below, and then all my PHP code, within .html documents, would show up colored as if I was opening a .php file. The method no longer seems to work in Dreamweaver CC 2017. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm only looking for a solution that will allow dreamweaver to handle the color coding as described above. I'm not interested in changing file types. Here's how I did it before. Hi,Since DW updated to the latest version it now default to Design mode most the time instead of Code like I had it in the previous version.How can I change it back so by default regardless of the file it goes to Code view, as I can't remember what I changed at the time?Regards,Garry

I believe you asked a question about my two animations on this test page I did for the OP:http://www.projectseven.com/csslab/logo-be-gone/I don't know if I answered you satisfactorily, but I did the two animations in order to gently slide the elements rather than doing an abrupt hide. I think it's the only non-script way to do it. Anyway, it was a good question and it bears a reasonable discussion... hopefully without a lockout .
I am not new to Dreamweaver, but I havnt used it in many many moons, many many versions ago ( Pre CC lol)A lot has changed and im getting myself re-acclimated.The trouble im having is when I replace images, or make other changes to text alignment, etc, the design view is not refreshing. If I save, close and re-open the changes are then seen. I KNOW im missing something!Thanks in advance

Is there a way to hide a div and logo within it? I have a logo at the top of the screen, but after 10 seconds I want it to disappear, and the text below it move up to replace it.I have found how to hide the logo, but I can't get the box to go to 0px and disappear!anyway of doing this please?

In DW 2014 it was possible to markup a selected text e.g. "lorem" via a command/shortcut to "<code>lorem</code>".It seems, that this in not possible anymore in DW 2019.I need the function a lot, so I'm looking for a solution.Do you have an idea? HOWEVER..Upon initial page load, the first dialog to open does not open in the center of the browser window. I use the latest version of macOS Mojave and DW 2019.DW 2014 shows the unicode character of a non breaking space as a little gray circle in the code view. In DW 2019 the function "Menu Search > Search in files > Filter > [ ] Only Text" is grayed out.In DW 2014 it was possible to search only in the text.Do you know, why that function is grayed out?Thanks

So...My local area of NA's website is complete & launched (w/ the help of some folks here...thanx).1) My original background image was 1950 X 1460 & about 1.2MB...it loaded slow...& because of the bootstrap template I used, you can only see the very top of it.2) I figured I could reduce file size & accomplish the same thing graphically by cropping the size to just the top. When I did that...something in the code relative to it's position or display caused it to increase in size on the home page, showing only a small percentage of that cropped image (& ruining the look of it). And...even that smaller image loaded slow.3) So...not knowing how to alter the code relative to the display of that more narrow image, I decide to use the original size image & optimize it for the web, which decreased it's file size down to 205 KB. I'm in a HTML class in high school and we are using dreamweaver, but need to use design view. It only shows code, split, and live view when its supposed to show a drop down arrow to show design view. When i open a new doc, it shows and stays as design like we need. But when we use the steps in the adobe files to follow along with the books, it doesn't show the drop down arrow.
