My site not accepting lightboxes

My web developer can't figure it out and says my site's code is a mess from me using Contribute on it for so long.Can someone help us figure out why? https://woodsshop.com/ This probably means some digging to get to the source of the problem and I'd be happy to compensate anyone who can help figure this out.

Unable to get Lightslider to work

Putting new files on the server

Hi please help!I have updates some pages of my website but every time I try to upload them it fails.I have PUT them on to the remote server which each time says happened successfully but doesn't show up when I try it out.I note that they are not showing in the folder www where they need to be so I tried then dragging the files I had PUT on to the remote server into this folder but I get a message saying it is not possible.Thanks anyone who can help!

We have all probably read or even responded to another post, which eventually ended up more about accessibility and 'other' concerns, than the actual original question. So what I was wondering after taking part in that discussion, is how the profession of web design/development has changed for everyone since you first started out, and have you diversified since staring out?With Adobe cancelling Muse, and saying that 'web site builder' offering from go-daddy, wix, squarespace, (as examples) have made Muse 'old fashioned' and no longer required, and frameworks such as bootstrap and foundation, along with the large number of starter pages, wordpress themes and/or templates available, has the way we work now changed so much that one person working on their own, or with just one or two others, finally made the 'lone' developer or small web shop an unrealistic way of working in the long term.Both myself and I think Birnou also, are I think generally happy in our work. Typekit Marketplace not loading at startup

In both my home and work versions of Dreamweaver, when I launch the software, a Typekit Marketplace dialog box appears with the standard Creative Cloud loading graphic spinning over it. The thing is, it never stops spinning. I can close this box and everything seems to work fine, but that doesn't explain why it always pops up and never loads.Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know of a fix?

how do i fix the formatting on my website since it keeps opening without the design changes

so ive been trying to make a website for an assignment and everything was great until i closed dreamweaver almost all of my pages looked like this:only one page remained how it was but when i try to preview it on the internet the same thing happens its odd because it used to work fine and i dont know what ive stuffed upthen, i tried to make a new page from a template and again it wouldnt formatall of my media is located in the root folder and i dont see that there is a problem thereplz helppp

How can I float an image in an intro area?

I am new to bootstrap and am doing my brothers website for him.He wants a special offer image in the area whete the Welcome message is but it needs to float up when the page scrolls.I  have tried to put the star to the side but this completely covers the whole page instead of floating left or right as I try to do.Instead I have temporarily put it above on the page but this is not where I want it.I hope I am not flouting any rules by putting the website address up here ( http:\\www.tanyalak.com )but you need to know what I have achieved and what I want to achieve.I want to put the yellow stars to each side of the text.Thank you in advance.Terry

Stray start tag, Template problems

Hi there, I'm having an issue with my website. I was running it through the W3 validator and cleaning off all errors, I managed to fix all of the errors on my site (excluding the temporary <br> tags I intend to replace out with margins), except for this one.Error: Stray start tag script.From line 363, column 21; to line 363, column 28nceEnd --><script>'undefNow this error leads one to believe that there is content placed somewhere between the </body> and the </html>, and if you look at the coding for the index.html, it is:</table></div></body></html>But it isn't in the template:</table></div></body></html>Now here's the thing, that  is part of the closing tag of the template I'm using on my site, and when applying the template to any of my pages, it automatically throws that  in between my </body> and </html>, which I assum

Do browsers guess what image to load?

I have a page with a broken link but somehow the Browser loads the correct imageGo to   http://v38.ancestry.higgsy.co.ukIn the menu bar click Archive (ignore the drop-down).  In the Birth Certificates list (sorted alphabetically) Look for Patterson, Christopher.  If you hover over the 034 link you will see it points to …034_147_Patterson_Edward_Lawrence_birth.jpgNow that image does not exist on the remote server and my Dreamweaver has flagged it as a broken linkBut when you click it, it loads the image ok, using the correctly spelled linkLet me put the two links here for comparison     034_147_Patterson_Edward_Lawrence_birth.jpg     034_1847_Patterson_Edward_Lawrence_birth.jpgWe see the bad link is missing the character 8Is the Browser looking for the first link, not finding it, and somehow looking for, and finding,  an almost similar link?  Do Browsers do this?  How else is it finding the right image?

Need help adding "read more" "read Less" text to my accordion

HTML5 3d/animation example how is it done?

Hi all,Just wondering if someone could tell me what html 3d and animation technology is used to create an animation of the "5" seen here https://www.oculusconnect.com/ Obviously there is a 3d program, or some kind of animation tool for the figure 5, along with dynamic lighting with both responding to mouse movements.Also when you scroll down the page there are these animated waves.Just trying to learn and understand and would love to be able to create things like this in future.Does adobe have tools to create this sort of thing?Any help would be great

Tutorial problem: Collapsed/displayed?

Hi!! I've been following the tutorial, modified just the content, so it's only slightly different from the tutorial. But I have one problem, the animated menu on the "larger" display (the 900px +). My menu is obviously set as .displayed in the source code, yet in the DOM window, it's set as collapsed. I already checked that it's not written in white.. So it should be here! And even if I try to modify directly on the DOM window, it won't change and stays .COLLAPSED.I'm completly lost, help please ~Alexandra

Please take a look at www.vlearningcommunity.org on an iPhone. The blue bars on each page extend past the right margin. The size of the blue bar image original and within Dreamweaver is 1000 px wide. The brown logo image at the top of the page is also 1000 px wide, but it doesn't run off the page. This doesn't happen on a desktop. Would you please let me know how to fix it? Also I wish the content spread across the page regardless of the monitor size, desktop, mobile, etc. Even on a desktop there are light blue margins on each side. Thank you for your help! Jen

cannot download sample files from adobe tv part 2 dw tutorial

The video is telling me I can download the sample files from the adobe tv website page or I can go to the urlhttp://tv.adobe.com/go/classroom-dwThis page sends me back to part 1 video. Can anyone help me find the samples please. Also i am learning for DW CS5 if that helps any.

navbar buttons with flex container, how to make equal height?

Hi,The buttons were equal height until I changed the text on one that forced it to wrap to a 2 liner. Line Breaks in Selection

Hi all.I have just updated fro DW 2015 to DW 2018.In 2015 you could select a large body of plain txt and via the "Selection" option under the R Click you could get it to put a line break at the end of each line in the selected Txt.This does not seem to be available in 2018.If it's still there can someone point me to it please.Kia Kaha.Graham

Blue elements box not showing anymore

When I turn on Live view to edit images etc the blue elements box doesn't show anymore. It used to. I tried restarting computer etc. They won't show up on opening other html documents either. I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2018. Example of image which doesn't show for me. Thank you

Browsers will not show uploaded Dreamweaver files

I have been using Dreamweaver CS 3 ever since it came out with my Mac V10.13.5. I created my website using it jonsenglishsite.info but for many years all I have been doing is uploading syllabus and calendar changes for my classes so they are available to my students at my college. This year when I uploaded the files to the remote location, linked them and uploaded the source page, it kept on downloading the previous file. I have removed the previous syllabus from the remote location but for some reason it will not recognize the new uploaded file so it can be downloaded. I thought it might be because Dreamweaver was outdated so I downloaded Dreamweaver CC and got the same issue. Any ideas? I would prefer to continue to use CS3 for obvious reasons.Thanks

Not Filling The Total Sceen.

Good day folks.First can I say I'm low level with Dreamweaver.I've put aweb page together that looks not too bad.However, I have a slight problem I'd like a solution too. I can get my page to fill the screen.I've searched the internet for solutions which I've tried but without any success.I get a small amount, about 2px, of white background around my page.If I use this CSS it works, but causes issues:{   position: relative;  left: 50%;  transform: translate(-50%, 0);  width: 100vw; }If I try 100vmin in either body or container it has no effect, other than Expected RBRACE.Can anyone help?

Is it possible to move and resize page's elements as buttons, fields, containers in the Design View with the cursor and/or keys?

Any designer form worthy of this name (I'm thinking of SQL forms, forms 4.5... from Oracle, to the Visual Basic IDE, to ACCESS, etc.) allows you to move elements of this form and change their dimensions with the mouse in combination with keyboard keys. The position and dimensions are automatically recalculated in the code. It seems that there aren't similar facilities with DW CC and that it is necessary to calculate tediously positions and dimensions in the html, CSS code, trivial task that slows the development.

Dreamweaver for Windows 10 without internet?

Looking for an option to run Dreamweaver on a Windows 10 computer that will never connect to the Internet.  I've been a long time Dreamweaver/Fireworks user, but am being migrated to Windows 10 soon.  My challenge is that my work is on an intranet that will never connect to the internet, which I understand eliminates the CC products per a chat with Adobe.  Per https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/system-requirements.html#id_55336 the CS versions are not Windows 10 compatilbe.  I currently have Dreamweaver CS5.5 and Fireworks 5.  The software works fine, but since Adobe says compatiblilty ends at Windows 7, the network accreditation people say I need another option.  Any recommendations?

Hello,I need help in getting my 2nd part of my sentence to indent like the rest of the sentence or i guess wrap around. What do i need to do for that to happen. I want the "me 3" to be under the "I still am going".The same for the word subtraction.Here is a screenshot on what is looks like when on the website. I am trying to attach a photo but its not letting me. It is saying that this file type is forbidden. Can you tell me which type is allowed so i can show a screenshot. Align an image (.jpg) next to a table

Hello Support group,I need help in coding the below. I need the line graph (which is an image) to be side by side with the table. It also needs to be under step 2. How can i get the image of the graph line to be side by side with the table? Please see code below.
