Unknown padding?

Dear Dreamweavers,I have some trouble with my code and I can't seem to fix it. For some reason there is space between my 'blocks', but I can't seem to get rid of it. Below is my html and my css, I have also added a picture of how it shows. DW CC 2018 Crashes when creating links

Every time I try and create a hyperlink or email link using insert, when I click OK, Dreamweaver CC 2018 crashes so I cannot create links. Using iMac macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Pity really just bought a new iMac and paying a subscription and can't create a website. Only software installed so far are the Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, Kapersky, Firefox and Google Chrome!Any advice much appreciated.ThanksMike

Using Bootstrap.css

I am a student and working with Bootstrap for the first time.   The text for our class is from 2014 and the instructions for this week's assignment are for using fluid grid layout.  I have to figure out how to bridge the two and am wondering if anyone out there has experience with this.  My first question is when creating the bootstrap, do I attach the the two css files that I currently have created in my project?  DW asked me to overwrite a couple of things (which I now can't remember) and that makes me nervous.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I have 3 things in my Sources menu - ALL Sources, boilerplate.css and su.styles.css.   I really want to understand if I am supposed to attach them to the bootstrap and if I do, will it mess up anything for the other parts of the project website. I don't know what else to post, so if more info is needed to answer my questions please let me know.

Is there a way to capture a form submitter's IP address and include it in an email that is generated upon form submission?I wonder if this would be possible on either the client or server side.

HELP: Header/Footer Not Aligning with Border

Hello!I am having issues getting my header aligned with my border, see image. I've made sure the pixel widths are the same, but for some reason it's not working. I've checked all of the padding, margins, alignments and everything is set to "0" and centered. It is also happening with the footer. HELP!Thank you!

File Corruption - Background-Image in CSS HTML tag

After this most recent Dreamweaver update, I am experiencing corruption and CSS execution distortion in my .html files when I insert the background-image: url() tag in the attached CSS file.  It does not matter what file I use as the background or if I am on a different computer.  I have even retyped both files and checked them for errors.  Has anyone experienced this?  If so, what is the solution?

Site template updates not applying to linked pages

I an using Dreamweaver CS6 version 12 Build 5808I built templates for my site and then built pages based upon those templates. everything has been working fine until earlier this week. When I make changes to the template files and save the template, Dreamweaver does not prompt me to update the child pages. I even went into the menu: modify --> Template --> Update Template... I then picked the template that I made changes to and told it to apply the changes. It told me 17 pages examined and 0 updated. I then tried to make the changes in the page directly but that part of the page is locked by a template. I had to modify the 17 pages in notepad to get the changes to the child pages.I started updating the templates because there were some broken links identified by Dreamweaver. I had to make the changes using notepad because the changes to the template would not push. Once the changes were made and verified as complete, Dreamweaver continued to identify the same broken links that ha

Can someone help with code to submit form directly to an email address

Copying hyperlinks from Dreamweaver to Word

Hopefully someone can help us out.  When we try and copy hyperlinks from Dreamweaver to Word, it does not copy over the hyperlinks.  We are running Word 2016 and Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows 10.

Change content in div on a cycle

I'm not really sure how to describe what I'm trying to ask, so I'm going to add a link to an example. http://github.hubspot.com/odometer/docs/welcome/#4Odometer — Transition numbers with ease As you can see the information rotates. I don't mean the actual numbers, I mean the content. For example, it rotates from saying "Minutes of TV watched" to "Minutes Snoozed". Basically, I'm just trying to figure out how to do that. I can't even begin to google a tutorial as I can't even think of how to structure the question.

Device preview on mobile not working when using MAMP Testserver

Hallo, in my sites setup I'm using Dreamweaver CC2018 with MAMP as the testserver. I can preview may site on all browsers but not on my iPhone. The scan works fine but I see only a blank page. To make sure I tried it without MAMP and it shows everything fine.Thy for any help!

Hello,i would like to use LESS files to improve my CSS coding.I did in fact edit half of the main.less file to make the theme fit my needs.My problem is now, how do i work with LESS files when i want to upload it into my FTP?Will it compile itself from "name.less" to "name.css" when i upload it thru Dreamweaver on my FTP?Do i need to first compile it and then upload the file or is this happening automatic?

I have CS5 and I don't know how to implement the SSL certificate

Years ago I created my business website using Dreamweaver CS5. I've purchased an SSL certificate and my website host now tells me I have work to do my end in order to finish the implementation. I have absolutely no idea how to do this and I'm not finding anything when I try to search for an answer online. DW 8; Preview in browser: Edge

I'm using DW 8 and can't upgrade because its too expensive for me. I'm administrating the web of my association at no charge.How can I add the internet explorer Edge to the settings "Preview in browser"?Further more, why does certain data set entries or graphics appear shifted against others on the web site?In IE10 one could use the compatibility view settings to correct this, but it created other graphic problems.It doesn't work in IE11OK, I hope there are some answers.

Logo is out of alignment

I created my website using the Dreamweaver Bootstrap tutorial.  All was good until I decided to change my logo.  The new logo sits lower than the original and out of alignment with my menu bar.I've resized the new logo to exactly the same dimensions as the old logo.  The new one still won't align.  No other problems inserting new photos on the rest of the website.  Any help would be appreciated.Here's a screen capture if this helps.

Having somehow maneuvered just about everything related to my website with CSS, (once the original web designer built the site in the HTML language), I am noticing some errors on various HTML-looking pages. Here is an example. I'm not sure what the errors mean and surely don't know how to correct them.Do these look like serious issues? Or could there be an easy solution?Thanks.

FTP no longer works in DW CC

The FTP connect to my websites no longer works. CC just started asking for access into the confidential passwords via Keychain. Why? I do the drill and get said password to the specific website and enter in into DW. NADA. The link to the server continues to be dropped. I check settings, go to godaddy, change pw, all the other parameters defining the site connect are fine. Try to connect NADA!. What's going on here? What I do now is build the page in DW and do the FTP via, in this case, GD as DW is useless. This just started today. Again, why is this happening? Nothing is changed on system. Everything else works ok. DW CC is up to date so what am I missing here? I am a very experienced web designer and have used DW on Mac and Windows prior to Adobe buying the app so pilot error is not the issue here. Any help on this would be terrific as I am pretty sure this is a real bug that needs to be fixed NOW.
