does anyone know if it is possible to embed an outlook calendar in a Dreamweaver website? I am using older software: office/outlook 2010 and adobe creative suite cs4. Please any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I have several sites set up in my Dreamweaver, and on just one of the sites, when I go to delete a file, I don't get the dialog box that pops up and shows me all the pages that reference that file, instead I get just the "Are you sure you want to delete? box like it is an orphan file, though it is not. Does this for any file on the site.Anyone have any ideas why only one (out of my 20+) sites would not check for reference links before allowing me to delete?Thanks,John
I'm getting an unbalanced body code error on a web site that I haven't made changes to for over a year.when I try to update the template I get the error and the pages will not update.I'm using CS6 for this web site.Here's my code. Greetings,I am using the latest DW CC 2017 on Window 8.1 64bit. My site is defined, I have a linked stylesheet in the proper location. Whenever I attempt to use Quick Edit I get the message "No Quick Edit available for current cursor position".When using the Brackets editor on the same web page the Quick Edit feature works correctly.Is there something I have overlooked in DW CC 2017 configuration ?There are previous discussions from last year suggesting to file a bug report. I had to rebuild my site cache because my file folders would not stay collapsed. Now every time I move to a different site to work I need to reinstall its .ste files. Luckily I saved my backup from when I rebuilt my site cache.I've never had this happen before, and my work flow is taking a hit.How do I get my .ste info to 'stick'?Version Info: Dreamweaver CC 2018 - build 10136, MacOS 10.13.3, MacbookPro Retina 15 inch Late 2013.Thanks!
Hi!I've been using Dreamweaver CC 2015 for quite some time now with my 4K display but I can't get CC 2017 to work correctly on this screen.I turn off Windows DPI Scaling for Dreamweaver because I need the actual 1:1 pixel scale to work with my web designs but the application windows won't fit correctly. It's nearly impossible to use. Is this a known issue? Does it work ok on a Mac with 5K screen?Thanks.
Not talking about commenting code, but enabling visitors to add comments that I can reply to, in a page that I have already built.I only need something very simple, preferably no ads, and I have found this jQuery plugin: jquery-comments by Viima It probably serves my purpose, that is, if I can manage to configure it. (I don't know javascript)Does anyone have a better suggestion?I also wonder if there are any security risks or other potential problems involved, apart from spammers.
Has anyone else had this problem. I setup the very basics of SASS compiler:- Enable Auto Compilation on Save+ Same Folder as Source and set a source folderIt will sometimes just stop compiling and I have to restart DW or reboot, very annoying.Am using up to date Mac DW CC.

Hello, all,I was wondering if it's possible to use JavaScript to detect if a user's browser has an RSS Feed Reader or News Aggregator extension installed?I'm tasked with adding an RSS Feed subscription to a project, and I noticed that if a browser does not have a Feed Reader or News Aggregator then clicking the link just displays the code contained within my .rss file. So, I would like to use a conditional whereby if a Feed Reader isn't installed, the RSS subscribe link doesn't show.Any thoughts?V/r,^ _ ^
Guys and Gals,I am working in Dreamweaver for CS5.5. Not uncommon when I put an image into my page the dimensions go stupid. This is the text generated by Dreamweaver -<img src="orange_empire_rwy_museum_photos/1743_oerm_navy_railcars_2015.JPG" width="351076272" height="3216" alt="U.S. Navy rail cars" />It is for a JPG image with the properties of 2.55 MB (2,679,462 bytes) according to its metadata. When the image is clicked on in Dreamweaver it is a grey panel with a black x. Trying to change its dimensions by dropping the last for first six digits gets nothing but that grey panel with the black x.The image opens good in Photoshop, copies and pastes from Explorer into Word, and is not a problem in any other application. This type of resizing happens in numerous other images so it is not "this" file alone."Hobby and educational user" of CS5.5. Dreamweaver is saying it is up to date. Hallo Zusammen,ich hoffe sehr, dass ich hier mit Euch den Fehler finde.Aktuell erstelle ich mit Dreamweaver CC 2018 eine HTML5 Website, die natürlich auch responsiv sein soll.Dazu habe ich mehrere Container angelegt, header, nav, eine section, main, 4 articles innerhalb vom main und einen footer.Alles bis auf die articles haben eine Breite von 945 px, die aricles haben eine Breite von 225 px plus margin right 15 px.Das passt alles gut, bis ich die erste Medieanabfrage mit max-width 945 px hinzufüge und Selektoren hierfür anlege.Die Selektoren entsprechen denen aus der CSS und die width habe ich entsprechend immer auf 100% gesetzt, die von denarticles auf 23% und das margin auf 2%Was dann passiert, kann ich mir nicht erklären: Die width wird über den CSS-Prüfmodus dann auf einmal nur noch mit 928 pxangezeigt und die Container verkürzen sich auch optisch.Habt Ihr eine Idee, was ich falsch mache? Wahrscheinlich ist das nur irgendeine Kleinigkeit...
Hi.Mac OS High Sierra. Adobe running Dreamweaver CC (All updated to latest versions)My insert panel will display but not allow me to insert any of the options into a page. I can only insert using the menu at the top of the page. This started to happen after updating the OS to High Sierra.Anyone know how I can rectify this?Thanks guys.Joe

I've gone through many old folders and images in my website folder on my desktop and deleted dozens of images and folders that I no longer use or need.Yet when I just logged onto my website via Dreamweaver, I still see them all there.What I want to do is just pull in to Dreamweaver only what is presently on and what ones sees on my site now.How do I do this? How do I make sure all the peripheral, outdated info gets taken off, but I keep only what I really need and what is on the website presently (and is presently on my desktop in various folders?)Thanks.

The same settings that connect fine to my new webhost with Filezilla don't work for DW (error msg. below, solutions listed tried). The only difference in settings is selecting SFTP in DW forces a Port entry of 22 - I can't delete it. I am attempting to use a typekit font in a DW CC 2017 project and cannot figure it out. In previous DW verisons, it was pretty easy. I highlighted some text and went to manage fonts and selected the font, but that did not work. Can someone steer me in the right direction?Thanks,Joe
I am trying to achieve the above for the website I am creating but having problems.What I want id for the logo to appear in area shown and then clickable links 1-4 which take you to the respective articles.At the moment I am getting the logo and then 1-4 stacked instead of in the arrangement shown on a b=mobile.I am using DW CS6 and Bootstrap 3Any feedback greatly welcome - thank you in advance.Terry
